Short stack comes with great jam and some sort of sugar vanilla syrup which is also tasty!

I have been to Abra's twice now and the service is consistently good and the food is tasty. Their orange juice is some of the best I've had. It's $4+ so it's a little pricier but other spots charge the same and it doesn't taste good. We've tried their French toast (phenomenal), breakfast nachos (very filling), and short stack (must try). The prices are super reasonable for the food that you get. It does fill up quickly and there may be a wait but it's a great spot if you're staying in the area and looking for good breakfast.

Food was very good. Service was good. Liked the environment. Recommend trying this place out.

Excellent food and service. An enchanting restaurant with wonderful ambiance. Fun bathrooms. Funny sign on the door and inside too. We have one in Twin Falls and evidently had to travel to Pocatello to finally visit one :) Brandi - our server - was delightful. She goes above and beyond. The food is excellent. We had breakfast and left happy. A must visit.

An incredibly overcooked steak that is nowhere close to medium rare

To say I'm disappointed would be the TL;DR version. While traveling through the state, I placed an order for pickup. I did an egg, meat and spud plate, as well as a steak and eggs, along with 2 orange juices. The girl on the phone confirmed my medium rare steak and said it would take 20 minutes. When I arrived, I was told it would be a few more moments, so I signed my bill and waited. While I was waiting, I took a look at my bill and noticed that the charge on the orange juice was more than what was advertised in their yelp photos, as well as their Facebook photos. It would be a lot easier to know what their pricing was if they had a legitimate website. Additionally, I noticed that there was a service charge that was added on for no apparent reason, and the charge line had a snarky smile emoji . If they had simply charged me an extra $10, I would have been irritated enough, but my steak was so overcooked that it might have been better to take off my shoe and eat the leather. The cutlery they provided couldn't even withstand the challenge of cutting through the steak they served, but I'm on the road, so I was already miles away before my realizations could make their way. I'm glad that I was only passing through town, because it would be a lot harder to be this disappointed if this was my neighborhood option.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I totally would. From the outside, this place isn't much to look at. By the time we finished eating everyone was THRILLED. Portions are HUGE and items are unique! My only complaint is that I ran out of stomach space and had to stop eating. The service was excellent and we were very well taken care of. 10/10 on the sweet waitress that helped us. The Maple bourbon salmon was unlike anything we'd ever eaten before. The pancakes and waffles came with homemade buttermilk syrup. The zucchini melt was melty and SPICY!! The Monte Cristo wasn't deep fried, instead it was two pieces of sourdough French toast with homemade raspberry jam for dipping. All in all - WOW. Just WOW. Abra's is our newest tradition when we drive through Idaho. My kids kept saying throughout the entire meal, "I love this place so much! Good find!"

Eggs, meat, and spuds. Add gravy and always pick the mini Belgian waffles

My go-to spot for breakfast in Pocatello. The service is always the best, attentive and kind.. even when it's busy! It's super popular on the weekends, so it's hard to get a table sometimes, but it's worth it. The food is the best and as they did raise the prices, you still get a lot of food for your money.

We are visiting Idaho, and this is a favorite restaurant for our local family members- and I can see why. The food was absolutely delicious, with giant portions. Service was outstanding. The decor is very unique, and coordinates well with the restaurant theme. The restaurant was full, and obviously very popular with locals. We had a delicious meal and enjoyed our entire experience

First of all food and service best ever! This is the best place to go for breakfast or brunch in Pocatello, especially on the weekends.

Lots of good food at reasonable prices. No gluten free bread but got a big helping of berries with no up charge. Yay.

The ridiculously regular French toast was delicious. Maybe the best I ever had. Will definitely go back when I'm in town.

My husband, daughter, and I came in for breakfast and were served by a waitress named Breanna. This was, without exaggeration, one of the worst service experiences I've ever had. From the moment we sat down, she was cold, dismissive, and clearly irritated. No greeting, no introduction, not even a basic level of courtesy. Throughout the meal, her attitude was consistently rude and condescending. At one point she rolled her eyes at my daughter, which was completely unacceptable. I also witnessed her speak to an elderly man at a nearby table in a way that felt demeaning and disrespectful--it was honestly uncomfortable to watch. She was also training a new employee, and while the trainee was kind and professional, Breanna was noticeably harsh and dismissive toward her as well. It raised serious concerns about how staff are being trained. I'm a nurse and have also worked in the service industry, so I understand stress and busy shifts--but this went far beyond that. This was a pattern of rude, hostile behavior that affected multiple customers. Because of this experience, we will not be returning to this location. Extremely disappointing.

We're visiting Pocatello for my daughter's 21st birthday. We went to Lava Hot Springs today and…read morewere hungry. My wife's coworker recommended this place. They said their food was good as well as their pies. I ordered chicken fried steak with mash potatoes, salad, scone, and tater tots. My wife ordered a Denver omelet, my son ordered finger steaks with fries and a maple twist, and my daughter ordered a 3 piece chicken tenders with fries and a scone. For starters, the ranch dressing was homemade and was amazing! The lettuce was a letdown because it was iceberg, which wilted right away as I ate it. My chicken fried steak was really good except it was a little salty and as it sat, the patty got mushy. The mashed potatoes were bland. It needed butter and salt. I would prefer maybe adding some sour cream or heavy cream to add some smoothness. The brown gravy was salty as well. The tater tot's were, tater tots. I think my biggest disappointment was the scones. They tasted too much like bread. It doesn't have that crispy fried taste. To me, it tasted like regular bread. Not impressed. I ordered the banana cream pie for dessert. It was ok. There were few bananas, the whipped cream was not sweet enough, and the pudding mix did not have enough banana flavoring. I thought the crust was really good though. Good flakey crust with a good crispy, flakey layers. We also ordered the oatmeal pie. This was basically a pecan pie with oatmeal. It was creative and I give them props. Overall, I thought this place wasn't bad. The service was good and the prices were reasonable. At least I walked away full!
