His pulled pork and ChubbyZ' pulled pork are the best ever!!!!! If you are having a party like us he is so great to work with and is bringing it to my husband so he can take it to the party. How convient is that. So if you want lunch, dinner, party or just snackin' fun out where he is and get there early cause he runs out. Bryan and Carol Kelsey

I can't wait to return!! The staff was incredibly patient as I scoured all the choices with a magnifying glass. I chose three tacos and due to a restricted diet, a salad. The salad was huge, the carnitas and carne asado tacos were outstanding, the pickled carrots, jalapenos, onions and peppers were so fresh and homemade!! The salsa verde I couldn't stop asking for more!! The staff, management and servers were so on it and truly kind to us and all their, obvious, returning diners!! Nothing was remotely empty as they consistently checked back with us, and everyone else, and boy did we devour everything!! I can't wait to return to this restaurant again. 7 stars!! Thank you Dave for recommending this gem!!! Prices were incredibly reasonable as well. Authenticity and kindness at it's best!! They certainly could expand as the business was consistent and the service fast but not rushed!!! Maybe a franchise in Los Angeles!!!

We were greeted right away when we walked in and really enjoyed the authentic decorations and overall vibe. The service was friendly and welcoming. Not long after sitting down, we were brought chips with some really tasty salsa and bean dip, which was a great start to the meal. I ordered the smothered tamales, and I had never had anything quite like that before. The food came out hot and tasted fresh. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend this place!

This is super yum!! With bacon?!?!?! Extra indulgent!! So good!! *Palate burger. Bacon jam? Yes, please! Pickle Aioli? Interesting, sign me up! This was a yummy burger, although I never did find the cheese on it....yet still happily ate my piece. *Ambitious Blonde Burger. I would have preferred a bit more beer cheese-or maybe a 2nd type of cheese too? but it was still very yummy!! The generous amount of yummy bacon made up for any smaller amount of cheese ;-) *Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. Super yum, although we are used to more of an oil based "sauce" and this was something else. Still good, still spicy, just not super authentic(we lived in the Nashville/Huntsville area for a decade) *Pulled pork Sandwich. Super good. Sauce seems homemade, great compliment to the sandwich! *Smoked Tri-tip Sandwich. Really good. The bbq sauce, toppings make it next level! This is coming from someone who never understood the hype of tri-tip(when living in CA), but finally did-just took going to ID to figure it out ;-) *Cuban Sandwich. This was good. Had the pulled pork from above & was very yummy!! Condiments once again took it to the next level! Exactly what it should be! *Pretzel Bites. These were served with beer cheese & super yum, kids loved them! Everything was amazing & we cannot wait to go back for more!! All 4 kids loved everything!!

When we walked in the server insisted that we sit inside instead of going out back. I wish we had gone out back to the truck, our server was super attentive but we felt a bit forced to buy a drink from them and ordering via the bistro QR code from the table was a little clunky. We were also traveling and the drink menu from Jim Dandy's didn't tickle our fancy. My husband got the Piggyback Burger with truffle fries and it was delicious! All of the flavors went well together and were plentiful. I had the pork tacos and the brussel sprouts. The brussels could've feed four people and were a bit on the very well done side. The tacos were full of meat but just okay and the chimichurri was nothing to write home about. The location was clean and quiet. Loads of seating inside and had some fun decor touches. Maybe we'll head to the other location next time we are in the area.
