This may be a little unconventional review. The work done on my wife's van was so bad I ended up getting fired from my place of employment less than 2 months later after trying to rectify. Needed front blower motor, front and rear pads and rotors, ac looked at, check engine light looked at and fix the door lock actuator that failed. Tech recommended an oil filter housing, power steering, brake flushes, cabin filter and alignment. The main technician is older and can't bend to do certain jobs. making my wife's vehicle the job of his understudy. I did not want that person to do anything with the door lock actuator due to inexperience. Ryan Scott , General Manager, assured me ( after I had talked with Mr Andrew Brown about this exact thing) this was no big deal and we will get it taken care of. I asked to not do it but he said no we will get it done. I said no. Took shop truck home due to vehicle being in pieces. Finished next day 40 minutes past closing. Found out driving home I had no heat or coolant and overheated. I turned around and parked van, texted Tyler Ousley and Ryan Scott about the overheating and the middle door not working. It was my day off and got a messege maybe 45 minutes into the morning saying vehicle was fixed. I was out so picked up after hours and was not in fact OK but had already spent 3 entire days at shop. This was March. I had many, many conversations with Mr Scott saying the van is messed up. Now the right side sliding door no longer stow and go seat work, right middle heated seat inop right middle. window inop . missing plastic panel on floor next to sliding door. some vents now do not work in the back section. And to top it off the brakes squeal when stopping. Most likely front. ac was never checked as requested cel was never checked as requested. Almost like it was just ripped and torn apart with malice. Mr Scott said just bring it in no worries. Well March turned to April. Then suddenly Tech is sick/hurt/jury duty/ vacation. Then Mr Scott went on vacation. I start to get really annoyed but then May hits, I ask again . I also ask for a raise and a promotion to Mr Douglas Smeltzer. I worked with Mike Mcsorely for 15 years at Pepboys. I previously was a goodyear employee from 2005 to 2008. Instead got fired. and spent 2200 in an area that will cost more than that to fix what Goodyear ( not ase) technician broke. I have receipts, pictures and texts. I would like my wife's vehicle fixed at a dealership and be refunded for this horrible situation. And I won't even go into the 3rd party private info of mine being shared between Richland County Sherriffs Dept and my place of employment. I was interviewing for a job at sheriff's office amd for some reason they felt it OK to share my personal emails to my work. and then my work firing me. You know this may be a big privacy violation I may need to look into legally. I would like to be treated with respect and integrity like I gave here. Believe the 2.5 stars and keep looking. I went in at 3:15 for a tire to be balanced. Manager said they couldn't do it until 5:00! I said ok I will return at 5:00. Returned at 5:00 gave him my keys. At 5:30 the truck and I were still sitting waiting. When I ask for my keys he just said OK and handed them to me! Nice service. They were not busy at all. No reason this should have been an issue. I had an appointment last Thursday. It wad for a tire rotation. I waited 60 minutes after my appointment time and the car was still not put on the rack, the tires did not get rotated. I came back a week later and was told that the car could be worked in early. The car was dropped off before the opening of the store and still at 210 pm was not put on the rack. The tires did not get rotated. The last employees were much kinder and much more helpful with honest information. I never had a problem in the past ten years with this Goodyear location until now. read more

Amazing customer service! We needed a tire for our camper, we had called ahead on our way there and seen if they had the tire. They had the tire, and as soon as we got in there they helped us and got the tire out of the truck for us and rolled it in. We thought that it might have been a loose rim too and he said he would clean it and seal it. Then they offered to fix the valve stem. They put the tire on in less then 10 minutes and we were out! I have had nothing but good relations with the Goodyear In Ontario, Oh. I take my 2 personal vehicles there as well as my work vehicle and have always been satisfied. Andy that works there has taken car of us fitting us in when scheduling is tight. Thanks guys keep it up. read more

Went to this place on 9-15-2020 by myself I'm a girl and wanted them to plug my tire they said they couldnt plug it and I would have to buy a new tire no way this is ridiculous went to the next town 5 mins plugged my tire and was 15 dollars never going to goodyear again all about money and not there customers dont care about you read more

I don't know what has happened to Goodyear in the time since I've been there last, however, I would not send a tricycle there for a new front tire. I had a warning code on my dash on a Saturday evening. It was one that I did not know if it was unsafe to drive or not, so I scheduled an appointment with Goodyear as they were the soonest I could get in anywhere. I was told it would be a $90 charge for 1/2 hour of diagnostics, and the price of an oil change which I decided to get since I was due one, anyway. When I picked up my car, they told me they could do nothing about my warning lights; I would have to take it to the dealer. Trusting them with this information, I went home only to have my family ask to see the service report. The service report was suspiciously missing from my $197.00 bill I paid! I want in to pick up the missing information concerning the diagnostics only to find, they WERE able to identify the issue by code number, however did nothing about it. Being in a panic after funding the world's most expensive oil change, and not even fixing the problem I came in for. I drove just the few miles to my dealership and immediately they committed to getting me in the next morning and checking my car. I knew that they normally change a $180 diagnostics fee, however I was desperate to find out if the car was safe to drive. 45 minutes later the wonderful service advisor came out to tell me I was all set to go and that would be NO charge. Apparently, the gas cap was loose and they tightened it and the lights disappeared! He told me that should have been something they automatically checked at Goodyear with the diagnosis from the $90 computer analysis they did (PRM Malfunction - evap leak code)! And, to top it all off, the dealership even washed my car! I will be eternally grateful to these honest and service oriented employees at my dealership, and in ALL future dealings I will taking my car and my pocketbook to them. They personify excellence and care. Unlike Goodyear, who I feel intentionally ripped me off and lied to me. The least they could do is refund my $90 diagnostics charge, however it's been an expensive lesson learned. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I am hoping by writing this review that another unsuspecting woman won't repeat my mistake by entrusting their vehicle to them. The only reason I'm giving it a 1 star is due to very nice new young man who greeted me when I dropped off the car. It's too bad. There's nothing like being 500 miles from home and discovering there is a nail in your tire. We'd just started out to head back to NY and saw the tire was low, then saw the nail. Figured I did not want to pull it out on my own. It was close to the sidewall. The Goodyear shop was close, even though a few of the reviews were not great. Got to the store and met Pete. He said they had quite a few things going on but that he would try to get us in. Right off he set the expectation that it could be 90 minutes to wait. What else was I going to do? So we waited. They got the car in pretty quickly and right off let me know that the nail was in a bad spot, too close to the edge. If there was a hole, it would not be able to be plugged. But they would continue to work and let us know. So we waited for a bit. Next thing we know, the car is done. The nail did not go all the way through. Not only that, but to be sure, they put the tire in the tank and tried to figure out why it was low. Re-sealed and mounted the tire, and we were on our way. No more issues. Tire is still at the same pressure we left there with. Did I mention that they did not charge me for this? It was at least an hour of their time. I did not buy the tires there. I will likely never be back in Mansfield, OH. But these guys made sure my family and I were able to get safely home. The customer service here was outstanding. If I was in Mansfield, I would go back. I had bought a car from a close by dealer to the Mansfield Goodyear, several years ago. Was needing to get a small repair done, outer tie rods. I had decent tread on my tires and they pushed hard for me to replace my tires with one of their brand name tires. Ive had vehicles with Goodyear tires before and discovered many of their brand car tires are junk, (hydroplaning on water, sliding on ice and snow) when i changed out to a different brand, had no issues in many cases. I refused the tires for that reason and Goodyear wanted to charge me to dispose of my old tires on top of it (only business Ive run into so far that charges you for this). They then started marking up dozen things they claimed was wrong with my car (all 4 brakes and rotors, rear sway bar link, struts all around, etc) and next thing I know had a 2700 estimate on top of the tie rods estimate. Only when I made it clear that I dont have that kinda money did they finally back off, the service desk seemed like wouldnt take no for an answer otherwise. I literally had bought the car 3 weeks prior and had dropped a fairly large down payment on it for the purchase, and knew nothing was wrong with it, because it seem to drive fine. They even had estimated 47 dollars for new wiper blades. Standard wipers blades are roughly 15 bucks for a decent set and I do my own wipers blades. Many repairs I try to do myself to cut labor costs and told them as such, the service desk guy was trying to talk me into letting them repair all of their estimated instead of me repairing it. Been buying tires from Goodyear for the last few years. Part of their sales technique is if you buy the tire there they will plug it for free. Needless to say we had a screw in our tire but they could not get to us in for four hours. Unfortunately this did not work since I needed to be to work. I know it does not take long to plug a tire. Went across the street to Sears and they got us in right away to plug the tire. I will never buy another set a tires from Goodyear. read more

They need to learn true customer service. I was in need of getting a tire patched(picked up a screw) I called them due to I've bought plenty of tires from them and figured they would work me in and get me fixed up. They told me if I could drop it off they could fix it by Wednesday(today is Sunday...really!) I called Sears across the street and was told to bring it in and they'd work me in somewhere, 30 minutes later I was out the door. I'll never use Goodyear service again. read more

Severely overpriced with bad service. Almost $500 for 2 break pads and 2 rotors. Will never return.

Excellent customer service. Very friendly. The best part about this place is it is very reasonably priced; it's twice as cheap as pioneer quick lube. My only problem with it is they're fairly slow. I came in for just a simple oil change and have been here 26 minutes already. Overall though, for the price, I think the wait is worth it. read more

Get a second opinion when they tell you need work done. I did and it saved me $1800.00. The dealership I bought my car from examined it for FREE and said I didn't need any work done and gave me a FREE car wash, that was JOYCE GMC on Park Ave. THANKS JOYCE I'LL be going there from now on. read more
