Stopped in to have a leaky valve replaced. At that time, I told them I also needed new windshield wipers. I paid for having the valve repaired and the new wipers. After I left, I noticed that the wipers were not replaced. I called them and they immediately gave me a refund. I hope this was just an honest error on their part. read more

Paid $310 for a new battery and installation and found out a week later (when my car died AGAIN) that Firestone didn't attach the battery all the way. I overpaid (found out later that Walmart had the same battery for $180) and then they didn't even install it correctly. read more

They didn't have the part for my vehicle and had to order it which I can totally understand. It took a few days for the part to arrive and when it did it was the wrong part. The correct part finally arrived a week after I dropped off my vehicle and it was repaired that day. I don't know if they ordered the wrong part or the wrong part was shipped accidentally but I do know I was very frustrated. One of the managers was awesome with keeping me informed on the progress. Unfortunately he didn't work everyday and the other two I dealt with had some pretty sub par customer service skills. Your experience may vary but I'm just going to be sure I don't break down in Mansfield ever again. read more

Purchased tires in 10/2017, the tires are now a little over a year old and are down to the wear bars. I called and asked about the warranty and I was given every possible excuse as to why they will not replace them. I reached out to the company directly and they said someone would call and never did! Save yourself the headache and go somewhere more reputable. I have had better luck with Wal-Mart. They actually do whats right when something is wrong. #NEVERAGAIN. Had a 4:00 appointment and after a half hour of sitting in the waiting area I noticed my car had still not been attend to. I asked about it and they said I was next. Not 2 minutes later they came and started asking the person next to me, who had just arrived about 5 min ago, questions about his car they couldn't figure out how to get the emergency brake off. So I watched them go and pull this guys corvette in to work on it! I know I only have a Kia and only had a flat tire but I find this completely un professional! And am out raged at this clear disrespect! I will never go back here. And will let anyone I know to never to go here! read more

I was visiting Mansfield from out of state, and I unfortunately ran over a large rock, which tore off the under shield of my car. The local Honda dealership recommended this Firestone location. When I walked in, I could tell that they were super busy, even though it was a Saturday. I explained my dilemma to the incredibly kind man at the front desk. (I wish I could remember his name, but he was so patient and kind!) He created a work order quickly, and within an hour Floyd took my car in to the garage take care of it. He inspected all of the systems, and repaired my under shield in such a way that you really cannot tell that it was torn off. When he was finished, he took the time to come out to the lobby and explain all that he did, like a surgeon would explain to a family. I wish I lived closer, because Floyd was THE NICEST and MOST CARING mechanic I have ever met. I felt like he truly cared about me as a person and wanted to make sure my car would be safe for me to drive. And the cost was so reasonable, I could not believe it. In a world where so many businesses take advantage of their customers, this Firestone shop is truly a Godsend. Honestly, integrity, and great skill in auto care! THANK YOU!!!!! read more

The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of zero is because I had free coffee. I called and scheduled an appointment 1 week ahead of time and they said the tire would be ready to go. I got to the store, they took my keys, got my truck on the lift and began to work...so I thought. After 45 minutes, they come out and say that they only had 2 of the 4 tires I ordered. The man in charge blamed the inventory company they use and took no blame himself. He said they were immature 19-21 years olds who couldn't be trusted. Even if it was their fault, this Firestone store should have checked that all the tires they needed were there. They said they would order the other tires so I had to reschedule and use more vacation time from work for this. I emailed corporate and got a response saying they received my claim. They asked for a little info so I sent it back about a day and a half later. 2 days after my response i had not heard anything so I sent another message and they said my report would be sent straight to "upper management" and that I would hear back in 48 hours. 2 days later, I still had not heard back. My appointment had passed and I already had the tires. I received no compensation or anything for them wasting 5 hours of my time. I sent another message asking for an update and got another "you will hear back in 48 hours" message. 2 more days passed and I heard nothing. I am writing this 12 days later...I have received no compensation and no true email responses from corporate. I've used this company 3 times and spent well over $1,500. They could have at least given me a 25% off or something. They said they would give me a free alignment. They were already offering a coupon online for a free alignment so they tried to give me fake compensation. This company has lost a customer in me, 2 more in my parents, and hopefully anyone who reads this doesn't go to this location on park avenue. They handled this the wrong way and corporate did not help their cause read more

I have bought tires before from this store and been pleased and I have also bought tires online from the Tire Rack and had this particular Firestone put them on. Not every place works as well with the Tire Rack and I could tell you horror stories about a couple other places. This store stays busy because they offer good service, they treat their customers right, they explain charges beforehand so there are no surprises, and the charges I had seemed fair and reasonable to me. I had purchased some snow tires from the Tire Rack in September. I'm just getting around to writing the review now because I wanted to make sure I was giving an accurate review and that everything is still good after a couple of weeks. The Firestone guys did a good job balancing the new tires and I have no shimmy or tendency to drift. I saved a couple bucks on the snow tires, had them professionally installed for a good price, the work was done right and it didn't take long. This garage also does most automotive repairs and I have never had any reason to complain in the past, but I'm just rating them today from this recent visit. read more
