I called the towing dispatch again around 11:00am and the lady said she would have thought that the owner would have contacted my husband, so she sent him another message. As if moving were not stressful enough, we have to add this to the frustration. We had people lined up to help us load the trailer and still had to pay them because they showed up even though we had no trailer to load. This is total crap!! U-haul cancelled our reservaation and gave us a $50 credit. Whoopie!!! That does not even cover what we had to pay the people to help us load the trailer. Now our moving is postponed and the people we had lined up to help us are not available. Thanks for making an already stressful event even more stressful!!! This is a total lack of customer service and a total blow to our moving plans. UNBELIEVABLE!!!

I recently rented a U-HAUL truck when moving and regret that I chose this place as the place to…read moredrop off my truck. I did the overnight drop-off and before returning, fueled my truck up at the local speedway in town. I was told to refuel the truck back to the same fuel line that the truck was on when I picked it up. So, I refueled the truck and dropped it off. In the morning, I saw that my credit card was charged $48 dollars to refuel the truck. So, I called the store immediately and told the guy that I had refueled and had receipts to prove it from speedway. He argued with me and told me that the fuel gauge was not where it was. I told him that I'll drive in there and show him the receipt for gas and he told me no. At this point it was his word against mine. Lesson learned here folks. Take a picture of the milage and fuel gauge after returning the truck. This guy is not an honest person and is a jerk!! I called U-HAUL corporate and they told me that they were going to drive down to the shop and check the truck. No one ever called me back! What a rip off!! BEWARE, TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. Communication was inconsistent, and when I tried to get clarity on things, I felt brushed off and not taken seriously. It didn't feel professional, and it definitely didn't feel respectful. What stood out to me the most is that this business presents itself as Christian owned. I was in the neighborhood of one of the large retail muffler and brake shops, so against my better judgment, I decided to let them look at it. I was told by the manager that my AC compressor was bad and that I needed a new one. The manager claimed to be an HVAC expert and quoted me around $650 to do the job. I was not convinced, so I began to look for a local mechanic. I must say that I stumbled on Mid-Ohio Automotive with a simple Google search. Bryan (the owner) was very professional yet somewhat skeptical (based on his years of experience with HVAC) about the information I had received from the chain store. Bryan suggested I bring it in and let him take a look at it. I agreed. Well, am I glad I found this businessman! He did all of the diagnostics and advised that my compressor was working just fine. One possible reason for the AC malfunction could have been a bad contact with the temperature gauge. It's odd, but it is definitely not a faulty AC compressor. The AC is blowing cold now, so I decided that I am just going to drive it and see how it goes. If I experience trouble again, I am definitely going back to Mid-Ohio. In short, Bryan is honest, fair, and extremely knowledgeable. He will not advise you to do any work that does not need done. He uses only quality parts and should be recognized for his upstanding business practices.
