Wow. Our 2025 Ram 1500 wouldn't start. They towed the truck on July 5th. They couldn't figure out what was wrong. Had an "Engineer" from Ram look at it. "Worked on it all week". Looked at it once. Said the engine was seized up, the starter went bad, replaced several batteries.. We had them ship the truck to another dealership after 33 days and they solved it in a week. Then they debated whether we had to give the loaner back. Didn't return phone calls, lied about the engineer, the engine... Done. read more

Not impressed. Bought a used car 27,000. They left cupped tires on the car because they had tread. They refused to fix some electrical problems we found on our way home. When we called about the other issues , the dealership refused to repair the car. There is NO 30 day warranty with this dealership. They sell AS IS... We have bought our past 2 or 3 cars from Spitzer and will never go back. Went to car lot on Sunday found a Jeep we liked and my husband called dealership on Monday morning to ask about price. The dealer at 1st couldn't find the Jeep because they were servicing it. He said he couldn't really give a price till they were done with the services. My husband then told him we were very interested. He said we could bring our Jeep in for an appraisal on Saturday to see what we could get for our Jeep on trade in for the other Jeep my husband called him on Friday to see what time he should bring our Jeep in Saturday and he said that the other Jeep was sold. The past two weeks I have been taking my car to the Chrysler side repair shop . I kept having failures in the air valve so I took it where I bought the tires from spitzer. I have been there three or four times for the same thing having a valve put on my tire . Both front tires have had it done but yesterday it had been a couple days since I had had one put on I thought everything was fine but it wasn't . I was on 71 traveling to Mount Gilead for work . The tire out of nowhere instantly went down and I spent the next couple hours trying to get back to Mansfield having to stop and literally fill the tire up with air every half mile . The first time I had it done they actually charged me $70 Tire wasn't a whole lot more than that so I questioned the price . It was an honest mistake from a new employee . So a manager called me back and said he was going to send me a refund on the unused part because after they did it I took it back in the next day because it wasn't done right it went down again . And they did not charge me , which they shouldn't have , and said it was only $40 which still seems a bit excessive for a air valve. So I paid $70 I was sent a check for $20 and the $10 just went up and smoke . You say $10 is that much and you're right but it's the principle of all the trouble that I've had . Over the past 3 years I have bought three cars and had all of my service on two of them done at Spitzer I will not go back again . Either they have somebody doing tires that may need a little more practice or they got a batch of bad valve stems that they're continuously selling I don't know which . I've been driving for 50 years and I've never had a valve stem replaced one time until he's past couple of weeks . They said the ball was just supposed to seal it keeps falling off but it's nowhere in the tire to be found makes no sense to me . Better think twice before going there especially for tires. Wife went over just now about buying a wrangler and trading in our car. The appraiser was an asshole and they wanted to run our credit before they looked at the trade in. We are already approved thru Chrysler financial so not sure what that was about. They was 2000$ less then what buckeye was in Shelby. 2000!! I leased a a 2018 Kia Sorrento from Spitzer Kia in 2018. After only three months of ownership, while getting my first oil change the mechanic informed me that the stainless steel grounding strap was frayed. When contacting spitzer, they got it in and then proceeded to tell me an animal chewed it and they would not replace it. So I paid to replace that. There has been a noise in the tires since day one again, no action from Spitzer. There was NO repurchase inspection, which has been made very obvious. Now I am having issues with getting my registration. I called today and was literally told by Spitzer, " That would be Kia, not Spitzer. We dont issue registration stickers." Which is true but my 2019 restoration was picked up at where......Spitzer Kia! They are very quick to sell you a car, but certainly have no interest in helping you after that point. read more

BUYER BEWARE This dealership is dishonest, disaffecting, backhanded, and disingenuous. I test drove a 2011 Hyundai Accent GLS. The car was in great condition. After reviewing the car fax there was 2 recalls that hadn't remedied. Any upstanding dealership would remedy any recall issues before selling a car. Upstanding and Spitzer should never be used in the same sentence, unless it is referring to their lack of upstandingness. They also printed out the "work" they did on the car. -New tires -Oil change -Spark plugs They claimed they spent $500. WRONG! Parts and oil came to around $275 In doing research on the car I found out this year and model has a huge issue with ignition coils going bad. The carfax stated an ignition coil had to be replaced on this car. RED FLAG!! The thing is, they never mentioned it had an issue. I need a car. They offered to sell it for the tag price of $4999. I offered them $5000 out the door for the car. They said they couldn't budge on the price. I'm already pre-approved for a loan and ready to buy. 2 days later they lowered the price $142. Spitzer is look to take advantage of people! My advice: Go somewhere else. This place will rip you off when they get the chance. read more

I saw a vehicle listed on their website. I called the next day they were open only to be told it's located in Pennsylvania over 200 miles away. They were not even willing to bring it to their dealership. It is very misleading to advertise vehicles you don't have in your inventory. Shame on you for this unethical business practice. We bought a used Volvo from these guys. Was hoping they'd do right by me, but nope. I've been wrenching on Volvos for 25 years and was appalled to see the half-arsed effort they put into the repairs they claimed they did to the car prior to sale. Bare minimum, and cheap parts to boot. They do their best to weasel out of warranty work. I gave them every opportunity to do right by me, but they failed. They can't even return a phone call. Go elsewhere. I would never trust this company to work on my own vehicles. As it stands, I'll be redoing the work they did only 500 miles ago myself. read more

My husband had called other places closer to were we were, they couldn't get him in until next week maybe. So he drove 1 hr and 50 min. To Spitzer Motors. Recently visited this dealership to look at a 2016 Charger R/T. The salesman was ok and I was given the opportunity to take a test drive. The car itself was a 2016 but had 5000 miles on it because the manager had been driving it for personal use for close to a year. It did not look good at all exterior-wise. And the interior looked used as well (seats, etc). I took the test drive just to make sure I would like the way the car drove and I did, so I sat down with the salesman to try to see what this dealership would want for the car, even though I had no intention of buying it. Unfortunately, the salesman insisted on FULL PRICE for the car, even though it had 5000 miles on it and had been part of their inventory for a year and was certainly not a new car. I ended up buying the exact same car from another dealership. Their car had no miles on it and was brand spanking new in and out. Gorgeous car in every respect. And I got it for a thousand dollars less than what this dealership wanted for the same car that had been part of their inventory for a year with 5000 miles on it. Personally, I would never do business with this dealership because of their insistence on getting full price for what is essentially a used car. The salesman argued that the msrp on the car is 40,000 and that they had reduced the car to 30,000 because of the mileage but that is not true at all. 40,000 is pretty close to what you would pay for a 2016 Charger 392 Hemi. The msrp on a 2016 Charger R/T is about 35,000 and almost every dealership I called offered the car brand new, no mileage, for around 30,000. A few dealerships actually had the vehicle for sale for closer to 27,000 but they were too far away for me to go there. I actually bought a brand new 2016 Charger R/T for much less than what this dealership was asking for their used Charger, and they also reimbursed for my plane ticket and cab ride + some extra because I came from out of state. Anyone looking for a great deal on a new or pre-owned vehicle who does their homework (internet shop, etc.) can save a ton of money by looking for the best deal. Sadly, you probably won't get the best deal at this dealership. read more

My son and I talked to a sales person name Benji at the kia dealership.on a Chevy truck they were saleing .it was closing time and said they were closing and he would contact my son in the morning .and he did that .my son said we would come back up on Friday make a deal .as we was getting ready to leave we asked if we needed to put down a deposit to hold the truck and he said no it would be here on hold .my son got a text Friday just before we were getting ready to leave to make a deal.benji said truck was sold .what the hell... Now that I look back at the first day everyone was in a hurry to get get off and leave .they did not care to take care of the customer .what a company. We bought our car from the discount lot on park avenue. The salesman was friendly and helpful. The people handling the loan application were courteous, updating us often on the status of the process. The bank was taking their time deciding to approve or deny the loan, but that wasn't Spitzer's fault. Will be buying another car soon and will definitely be a return Spitzer customer! read more
