I have been a long-time customer @ GoodYear Auto Service, purchasing dozens of tires over the years. I was grateful for the service I received in the past. That changed this week, needing 2 tires patched (they were fixable). Anticipating the normal, free repair. I was told I declined road hazard. This site used to repair all tires for free. I set up an appointment in line several days in advance that included the specific tires I wanted to have installed on my car. I showed up at the appointed time only to be told that the tires hadn't arrived yet and that they would be there in the afternoon. The person behind the counter told me I could go home and that he would call me when my tires arrive. I went home and waited for the call but it never came. I called them at 1:00pm and inquired about the tires and the person who answered (Chris) said he would call and find out where they are and give me a call back "in a few minutes." It is now over three hours later and still no call. I will be going to Satto Tires instead to get my tires replaced. Good Year has missed out on about $1,000 in business today. read more

They will rip you off--told me they rotated my tires and inflated them and they did not. Even when I took it back a second time!

Replaced 4 tires for $850 and when I got in my car, I noticed my right front center wheel cap was missing. The guy said the tech told him it was missing, when I brought the car in. I noticed it missing immediately upon getting in the car. No way was it missing before. The guy said the tech had no reason to lie. Why would I lie? They think I'm out to trick them into buying me a replacement? It was $50 on eBay and the seller was from Charlotte. Maybe the tech? That would be a reason to lie. Just stay away from them. The online estimate is less than pick up price. The staff was rude and unhelpful. read more

The black guy in the front told me not to go there anymore, because my truck was to long and their lift could not accommodate my truck. They had to use a jack to rotate and balance my tires. I paid for the incidental thing with them. So now I have to drive across town so I can have my tires balanced and rotated, because they're lazy to use a jack. His excuse was hilarious, he said "this will cause me and my faculty back problrms," bull f#@$ing shit. I hate lazy, half a@# people. read more

When it comes down to a car shop, the most important thing for me is the trust. You walk in and they have your car, they can list all sort of things and you always have that bug in your head, that maybe that was not necessary repair. We took our car to the Toyota dealer for the complementary maintenance check. While there, my wife was told to do an alignment. She declined as she couldn't spend hours waiting for the car to be ready. I work close to this Goodyear, so I decided to take the car here, drop it and pick it up at the end of the day. The manager Billy was very cordial, offered the promo price for the alignment and give me a ride back to the office. He called me later to let me know that the car was fine, alignment was dead on, and no service was necessary. Honesty is rare today. For sure he earned my future business. read more

For just a tire rotation we have waited over 2 hours. We made an appointment the day before during the 3 to 5pm slot. We asked if there was a lot of people booked during the time slot and they said no. Showed up at 325pm and are still waiting at 613pm. They still haven't even pulled the car into the shop. So much for a free tire rotation using their credit card. read more
