I never thrifted before and when i stumbled upon this store on my instagram story feed, they caught my attention. I instantly knew i wanted try this place out. I came here couple of times with my family during the pandemic. The experience was and is positive. I actually went by today to look for new wide set pants and a place to try on since i like to visually see myself with the clothing item. Surprisingly they have lots that aligned to my style. Me and my sister got a couple of pairs we bought and are happy with it. Everyone was so nice! I didn't know that i can apply for customer account under Plato's. The cashier explained i can get points everytime i visit. The only thing i knew was that you can take pictures and post, tagging their user on instagram to get 10% haha! So i applied to get points, and got extra for not getting a plastic bag for the pants we bought. That was great. And honestly, this is the only place i shop for clothes now since it's budget-friendly, close to where i live. The pants i got was under $20 which is perfect! Can't wait to come back againnn!

In that time I browse the store, and their stock is often worn, dirty, and in poor condition with odd pricing. A ripped canvas pouch is $11 while a leather coat with genuine fur trim is $30? And yet my brand name and designer items are rejected. I'm happy to tell anyone how bizarre this place has been, including the rude staff. Edit: they offered to buy one mint condition designer item for $150, which would have sold for $900 retail second-hand. I turned around and sold it to Oliver Jewelry the next day for $550. Seller beware!

Suggestions for improvement would be faster sorting of items you drop off and bin inside or just outside the store to donate your remaining items they didn't buy ( if you so wish). Just make the process easier to sell and donate, so you feel like it's all settled when you leave the store and you didn't spend a large chunk of time for a small amount of $. Some prices are on the high side. Some are reasonable. I enjoy looking through different brands and labels in the same store. I end up seeing things I don't usually because I'm boring and tend to shop at the same retail locations. It gets me out of my fashion box! Service is friendly. No issues there. Just went to Salvation Army South Service Road location in Oakville to drop of (Greco) high chair,…read moredishes and books. Had to go inside to ask staff member (who was sitting reading a book) to help me unload car. High chair was in 3 pieces so I could fit in car and staff member put stand (metal), chair (upholstered plastic) and tray (plastic) in 3 different boxes???? I asked why and he said so they could be recycled and, when I asked if someone might not want the high chair assembled together in one piece, he said "someone might put pieces together"???? Very concerned and disappointed and will probably start going to Habitat for Humanity to donate.
