This store had become our favorite location for so many reasons! The staff is fantastic. The prices are perfect for what it is. None of that overpriced, these-people-have-forgotten-why-they're-here nonsense. It's a mix of donated, new and retail returns, which is perfect for the community it's in. None of the departments feel overlooked or understocked. And because so many locals shop here, it's often full of friendly conversations. read more

Very bad costumer service went in before closing time since they close at 7 but as soon as I opened the door the lady came up to me saying they were almost closing and basically kicked me out and locked the door yet it wasn't 7 yet read more

The good; The store is well organized and clean. Clothes were hung neatly and the shelves with home goods were organized by color. The shoe section had several options for brand new shoes. There is plenty of parking. The shelves weren't overloaded with stuff. The racks had enough room for you to slide coat hangers on to browse clothes. The bad: The home goods area is smaller than most other stores. There's no changing table for babies here. I didn't see much furniture here. The interesting: They were selling the same sombrero shaped chip/dip platter that I have at home. Goodwill started in LA. read more

I have been shopping at this Goodwill for many many years. I've spent hundreds if not thousands of dollars here over the years. Today, I was asked to put my purse in a locker while I shopped. This is more than my purse. This is my basket, if you will, that I fill up and pay for on my way out of the store. While I understand the concern for shoplifters, instead of making it very inconvenient for their shoppers, they should invest in a security system with a camera. Absolutely ridiculous that I am treated this way here. I will never come back here again. read more

Rude customer service. The cashier was rude and gave attitude. I was going to buy two toys (the SAME toy) one of them didn't have a price tag so the cashier told me all rude "I can't sell it to you" with out expiration. when I washed why she said "because it doesn't have a price tag" then I told her "well it's The same toy can't you scan it" and she gave me this dirty look and said NO. When I asked why she just raised her voice and said I can't sell it to you then she just took the toy away. So I didn't end up buying anything because I didn't like the way she handle the situation. When my mom went to pay for a toy all three workers just ignored her and then looked away. She stood in the front of the cashier and they just dogged her. Great costumer Service ! read more

This used to be a great goodwill, lots of odds and ends, household stuff, trinkets, art... the things treasure hunters and thrifters enjoy looking through and bringing home...now not so much. It has basically been turned into a bargain .99 cent and above store with junk you can find at any of the many dollar type stores around. Too bad. read more

I bought a iPhone cell charger and walked out and tried to charge it in my car and it didn't work. I went back and told them I had just Bought this charger and it wasn't working. However, they stated that because there is no returns or exchanges there's nothing they can do. Pretty sucky I think to sell stuff that doesn't work. Beware of buying at Soledad Goodwill. read more

I am really don't know much about Goodwill stores, but this one seems okay. I was in need of a jacket; I went in and saw one that would work. I took it up to the counter. I asked if they cleaned or washed things before them put them on the racks. The answer was no! I said I did not want it. Then I walk out of the door and it was cold. I realized I was crazy not to get it; surely it would not hurt me to wear it for a few hours. I was going to a photo workshop at 6:30 in the morning. I might not be able to even click the camera if I was cold. The camera might shake and the photos would be out of focus. Or, I would drop the camera, lens, or tripod. Back I went and purchased it. When I looked closer it still had tissue on the buttons, I guess it might be new. I was nice and warm and I donated it back to good will when I was done. read more

Their customer service is literally the worst. I went to buy a canvas so i could paint over it, i went to pay and it didn't have a price tag. So i kindly asked if they could just use a different canvas and scan that one. The lady with piercings on her nose was very rude and had a bad attitude. Same goes for the coworkers. This happened around 5, i'm really hoping that someone talks to them because if you work in retail or as a cashier you've got to have a good attitude especially when somebody asks nicely. I definitely won't be going there again, Customer service 0/10. I recommend the goodwill in salinas. customer service there is amazing absolutely 10/10 and there's way more things. read more

Went over to Check this place out today and was pleasantly greeted by the employee at the front always a good sign. I sometimes like to thrift just to see what is there maybe something good, I liked how the store overall was organized and seemed very clean I will definitely be returning to check this place out and see if I can find some treasure someday. read more

This is one of my favorite Goodwill stores. The staff are always in a good mood and are very friendly. It is a smaller store, but I feel they have a lot of great quality items. I like the personnel they're so friendly. However; the prices have gone skyrock at this Goodwill and at the one on East Alisal, Salinas CA. I know how much they help the community, but I really believe they should really drop the prices. After all the items are donated. read more

This Goodwill store is located in the Soledad Mission Shopping Center along Hwy 101 and its one of my favorite thrift stores. As you enter you are greeted by one or more of the store's friendly staff. They bring things out throught the day so if you stop in the morning and then return a few hours later you will be pleased to find something new that you like. They also have the most items in almost new condition in any thrift store that I haver ever seen. My favorite area in the store is the books section. They have hundreds of books, audio and video products. Everyday they also have a color tag sale at 50% off. Every now and then, they also have the books at 50% off. In one display you will find purses, collectibles, and other valuable items available through silent bidding. Sometimes, their prices are too expensive considering that they are selling things that are used, that was donated to them, and that they have a 3 day return policy for damaded products. read more
