I like coming here to shop and do not have much new to say. However, I always wondered why by the end of the week that all the specific colored tagged sale items are difficult to find. I assumed that all those items are picked over by the customers earlier in the week. I search for those specific items when I shop for more discounts. As every week a certain color tag is discounted. However I heard that perhaps by Thursdays, the staff search for those specific colored tags items and place them in the back to be redistributed with other stores. So even though there is those signs through out the store that show which colored tag is discounted, it does not matter and most likely you will not find one of those items with the discounted color tag. If that is true then perhaps they should state this so customers do not spend time looking for them. So then in conclusion, the best deals can be found on Sundays- Wednesdays. Still, that does not mean that you cannot find a good deal there on something anytime. Just that their weekly discounted colored tags merchandise is only available in the beginning of the week, that would explain a lot! read more

I have donated a ton of stuff here. My mom passed last year and I have been purging. The store is clean and organized. However the man guy I always see when donating stuff seems like he doesn't like his job. Never seen him smile once. I actually feel kinda awkward donating here and try to avoid it now. You would think since you are giving them free stuff they get to sell they could at least say thank you. read more

Lost its charm in recent years. My biggest gripe is that they used to have 2 fitting rooms and now they only have one (they got rid of both and then later added back a single large room), which is annoying but wouldn't be as big of a deal if they didn't also limit you to 5 items and 10 minutes in the room before kicking you out. Since this change, almost every single time I've gone to try something on I have to wait for someone to be done with the fitting room, and whenever I get out there's another person waiting for me. I will not be returning unless/until they sacrifice a little bit of floor space for a small fitting room to accommodate the amount of customers they get on the daily. They're extremely popular/busy and get their items for free, I feel like they can afford it lol. Aside from the fitting room situation, their staff is generally friendly and positive. I have pretty much exclusively found clothing items here, their home and furniture section is pretty small and usually uninteresting. It seems like at least 1/4 (possibly more) of their clothing selection is comprised of jeans and about half (if not more) is comprised of low quality fast fashion items. I used to come here and leave with at least one thing I loved every time, and I've left empty handed the past few times I've come here now because the quality to price ratio is way worse than it used to be. On top of everything, their prices have definitely gotten more expensive over the years which has also led me to not shop at goodwill as much in general. The gist of it is Goodwill needs to stop being greedy lol. read more

The staff was friendly, the floors were clean i rarely see that at a good will. The selection was lacking but it was a Saturday and i feel like weekend thrifting especially can very hit or miss but all and was a nice store read more

Just drove up and unloaded my bags of clothes. Then I was on my way. The attendant was very nice.

Just want to let everyone know 4 months ago My wife and I had a terrible experience with a Goodwill employee he was the acting closing manager but usually he works in back putting out stock. While check out he was the rudest & the most unprofessional person ever. My wife wanted to check out but this person kept talking to a fellow employee instead of dealing with my wife. He was verbally combative, disrespectful. Why would I give an extra penny to round off whatever there training methods to training workers it's a fail for customer service. I have had a horrible experience at this good will and the manager NADINE is ill equipped and highly unprofessional. I asked an associate to try on items, the associate opened the fitting room for me and on the door I observed you have 10 minutes to try on clothes. Within the 6 minutes that I was in the fitting room trying on clothes someone knocked on the door 4 separate times. At the times of the knocking I assumed that other patrons were knocking on the door to see if the fitting room was occupied. Every time someone knocked on the door I said "someone is in here it will be just a minute" by the 4th and last knock I responded "yes I'm in here" then finally there was a loud rude response of "you only get 10 minutes". I hadn't even spent a whole 10 minutes trying on clothing. When I came out of the fitting room after getting dressed, I asked an associate to speak with the store manager. The store manager came out out of the back production room with a visible angered face and disgruntled attitude. I then let the store manager NADINE aware of my experience that I had been in the fitting room for only six minutes with four different knocks. I felt rushed and very uncomfortable. She responded with anger telling me that she cannot make all her associates aware that someone is in the fitting room and that they will all knock at separate times if they see fit I then brought to her attention that everyone's physical abilities could possibly be different and 10 minutes might not be enough time for someone with back or hip issues. She completely ignored the observation and continued on to tell me that she will not make her staff aware that someone is in the fitting room and they will all continue to knock during your 10 minutes that you have in the fitting room to try on. obviously this system needs a revisory, there needs to be an occupied sign on the door when a customer is trying on clothes at the very least. I then asked the store manager Nadine why she was so argumentative and aggressive with my concern and my level of uncomfortability with all the knocking as I try on clothes, and she was extremely unprofessional and just walked away from me while rolling her eyes. I am very disappointed in this establishment and the handling of the customers from the whole staff from management to associates. read more

I went there today with a SUV full of donations when I arrived there were two men working. I had my handicapped placard in the window and got out with the aid of my cane and no one came out. The one that was hanging up clothes hollered to put it in the bin, I said can you unload it for me and he said no and something else I couldn't hear. Neither approached me so I said ok thank you I will just go to the Mercantile. Got back in my car and drove to the Mercantile where I was greeted by two men who unloaded my car while being pleasant and friendly. They gave me a receipt and I drove off needless to say I will never go to goodwill again, I will donate where it is appreciated. read more

They're finally done with the remodel. It's terrible... 95% clothes and shoes. No furniture or home decor like pictures or paintings. Hardly any glassware just too many clothes and shoes. read more

This is a nice little store. Once you walk in you see that they have a good amount of stuff you really can't tell from the outside so you have to come in and check things out everything is organized and he can find everything very easily check out as well customer service was great. read more

When everyone else is not accepting clothing, furniture, household items etc., the Marina Goodwill location made it quick and easy to drop off donations at a time when many of us are trying to clear a house of anything extra! They have it all set up so that you drive around the back of the store and drop whatever you've brought into the container. They wear masks and gloves, and offer the donation receipt. Nicely handled! read more

This seems to be the only thrift store in Marina besides Last Chance Mercantile at the dump. But it's over priced, over picked, and kinda messy. I don't understand how these big thrift stores get there idea for pricing, when they have so much donated they could make a lot more if they kept the prices low. read more

2016 REVIEW. Boy have things changed!! I hadn't been to this store in years, let me start by saying I love the Goodwill as well as other thrift stores but this place was ridiculous. The staff was friendly however the prices were somewhat off-putting. Nobody likes digging through a disheveled store to find something they may be interested in only to find out it has a price sticker of $42.25!! This is the Goodwill!! Used DVD players and VCRs with no remote should not have a price tag $25-60. I could barely look through the clothing racks because they are jammed packed with stained items all asking $6.25-$9.25 and sometimes $16+ I even heard a couple of the employees sounding upset when a person bought something saying things like "we should have priced that higher". I also heard them in the back raising prices arbitrarily, all the while not realizing what the item sells for brand new in the store today. This Goodwill seemed more expensive than stores like Ross even though all of there items have been USED and DONATED. The auction thing is ridiculous. How can you allow people to unsuspectingly bid on knockoff "designer" purses but not be willing to authenticate it? People like going to the Goodwill to find things they don't necessarily need, spend a few dollars and walk out with a smile on their face waiting to come back again. Not picking through broken/not complete/stained items that cost more than they do brand new. This store was a complete turn off. read more

My hunny and I came here for wedding supplies...yeah...you read right! We bought out all the old champagne flutes to use as gifts for the people who came to our wedding! The people working are great, and we also always have fun talking to friends and strangers alike while shopping in the store! The book selection is great and there are always treasures to find! They have lost their minds along with their customer service. I found 2 bose speakers with holes in them for $50/pair & and storage bin with original store here new of $4.99 selling at Goodwill dirty and used for $6.99. Showed them to a clerk who shrugged and returned them to the shelves. And that's just the beginning. Save your time & money and get a Target Red Card to save extra 5% on sales & get them cheaper new. Marshall's & Ross have better prices new too. So disappointing. read more

I go here almost every other day since it opened a year ago, sometimes twice a day. Great finds, awesome staff! It's not a large store but it's neatly organized and real surprises can show up, even as you are there. If you need a good sturdy laptop bag, you should be able to find something here for under $4. They have a larger collection of videogames than a typical Goodwill (mostly Playstation2, tho I picked up PS3 Battlefield 3 on opening day, no kidding!) and a large section of radios and CD/tape decks. I've gotten some of the coolest finds of any thrift store here, such as an Altec-Lansing 5.1 soundbar (w/wireless rear speakers) and a small bluetooth page scanner. They also get in some great musical instruments like, fairly recently, two nice Fender acoustic guitars. My best find was an 1973 Ovation Breadwinner which needed new tuning heads but otherwise looks like it was made yesterday - not one ding, and a great Fatar full weighted piano controller within a case. read more

While this goodwill used to be my favorite, many changes in the store have been apparent to make this a less than good deal. The selection seems to have dwindled to items far from what used to be incredibly diverse and fashionable. Additionally, the prices have risen, making most items just as expensive as if they were boughten new from a department store. The staff is extremely cool and friendly, but my visits have become short and less often. read more

Always looking for a wooden tennis racket... the sporting goods are scattered throughout this store. Golf clubs along the window on the far left when you walk in, ski poles by the door to the backroom, and skis and everything else on a long shelf in one aisle with everything laid sideways and on top of each other. You can find brand new items, with tags here! This goodwill has a wide variety of books, wedding dresses, scarfs etc I smile walking in and out of this store. I'm glad it is not as crowded as other goodwill locations I've been to. read more

I had the best experience yesterday! I love this store! I always find multiple items at great prices! The store is clean and super organized...in fact, it looks like a beautiful rainbow! Everything...shoes, blouses, jackets, pants, etc. are all color coordinated....makes it easy to shop. Best of all is my favorite sales associate, Karen. She is so helpful, friendly and will make you laugh. She knows most all the customers! You can really tell she loves what she does and loves the Goodwill! Signed....a total raving fan! read more

I'm giving this three stars because this is goodwill and a good organization. I give one star to the service. Particularly the bald male with the heavy beard. I walked in 10 minutes to closing, perfectly aware of what time they close. He says hello. Then gets closer and loudly states we close in ten minutes. I say okay. I went in for a baking sheet to make a gift for a friend and thought I would breeze through housewares en route to the baking sheets as I needed a few decorations. This man follows me and loudly says, if you need help finding anything I can show you. I said no thanks loudly back. Annoyed I continue on breezing down the aisles. He then goes straight to the back of the store and flicks off half the lights. As much as Iike goodwill, I'll be going to surrounding locations. I don't appreciate being bullied out of the store. read more

Recently we were put in the position of getting rid of alot my mother-in-laws things, including clothes, appliances, nic-nacs, etc. Since she lived in Marina, the logical place to take these things was the Goodwill Store in Marina. Wrong!!!! The staff there couldn't care less about receiving donations, and usually won't give you the time of day... The girl at the register wouldn't even look up from her phone to tell us where to unload...take your things to the dump. Those people are very nice and will gladly take your donations..never again for goodwill!!! read more

Great Goodwill!! High end labels with low end. Lots of finds. Service staff and super friendly and they have lots of specials. Snagged a Tommy Bahama straw hat for seven dollars, a pair of shoes that sell at Neiman Marcus for five hundred dollars for five bucks, a Jamaican Jaxx pure silk shirt for six dollars!
