FOrgive me for taking 2 prizes but I couldnt decide what to have.. I wanted the gummy glitter paste as I needed something to keep myself calm.. and a slapping bracelet.. What sold me the most was the chalks. There was this fun lady who was waving a wand of bubbles and ask perrmission to draw, and the moment she said yes..I immediatly bend down on my knees and draw the first thing on my mind.. MERMAID ARIEL. THen when that was done.. I had more spare time so I drew GENIE JASMINE once i finished i manage to get up and began to browse the furniture.. The staff already placed their things inside but let me allowed to draw some more. They were very kindful and enjoyed the image i did. They do have some nice things like tvs and tables and such but mom loves to shop there taking her sweet time as we travel very very far just to be here ( and a few stores we love to go to). Thank you so much for letting me draw the side walk. I love disney but these two gave me happyness and joy. This made my day as I couldn't go to Comic con this year and felt heartbroken v_v...but that sidewalk drawing made my day for the better! Thank you ;_; - hachimitsu p..s.: SOrry i drew over the names over the side walk v_v... I didn't realized they were there the moment i drew the fin and the genie lamp v_v!

There are no bargains here, you'll be paying more than ebay or Etsy on items that they get for free. Why don't they markdown items that don't sell? They wont negotiate on their prices either. This is a strict business which doesn't care if you return to patronage. They don't support our community, only their cause. And how do they support our veterans? I have no idea because they won't tell us. They should put out a new letter that documents what they're doing for our veterans with all of our donations. My husband is a proud veteran but gets no benefits from here. Oh, only a10% discount, and only if you have your discharge paperwork. There are NO BARGAINS HERE. They rarely have sales, only once in while and rarely have free things, items that won't sell but are basically broken down garbage which belongs in the landfill, with the exception of books, lp's and dvd's or vhs. Nothing good or useful. Moreover, the staff is unwilling to negotiate prices, indicating a strict business approach that does not prioritize customer loyalty. They are not friendly and somewhat rude and snotty, especially the young man cashier, he's just rude and uncaring. I find it disconcerting that they scrutinize donations and selectively accept only items they deem saleable. As a result, we no longer donate to this organization. Why do I come back? With hopes that some day it will get better. Especially after reading all the similar negative and disparaging reviews, it's not just me who sees all the unfavorable things here. Its our community speaking, please listen to your community and act accordingly.

Be sure to follow them on social media to get all the best info on new items. They have pretty good prices too. We bought all of our plates and drink ware for our wedding here. Cheaper than renting and then we donated it to our church. It was fantastic and so much better for the environment.

(COVID-19 REVIEW)…read more Indigo Vintage is a quaint clothing store in Downtown Santa Cruz. There's lot of clothing options to choose from such as: vintage shorts, mini skirts, graphic tees, retro jackets / corduroys, crew necks, patchwork, baby tees, summer dresses, and pants! There are definitely hidden gems that you could get here at a decent price from big brands like Levis and Lee's. For example, I saw a pair of Beige Straight legged Levi's being sold for $48 and that was a huge mark down compared to a $120 white of Levi's I saw in the front of the store! I really did like how there were multiple brands / small businesses that were being supported as I looked through the racks. Everything was super trendy, so it was hard to not pick up a few pieces. There were a couple of fitting rooms that are open, which was a huge plus considering most of the items you'll buy would be an investment. The CDC standards probably opened up a bit more since vaccinations are rolling out for a large age group. The two girls that were working at the store were super nice and welcoming to all the people that were coming in to the store. Asking them to open a room was no problem since the store was on the smaller end. Overall, I would recommend people to come by and check this place out! Although it's more of a fancy way of "thrifting", the experience makes up for it.

I had a lot of fun looking around the store and seeing all the interesting, cool clothing items they sold. I wish I could've bought everything they had to be honest. They have great brands and the prices, while a little steep, are pretty standard for resold vintage clothing. This store is also a woman-owned small business in the heart of downtown Santa Cruz!
