As someone coming from out of town, it was wonderful to see how much care and effort is put into caring for the birds and trying to share that passion with others. It does get hot/sunny, so be prepared, but it's not super big so it's manageable. I do wish they had some more guidance or signage to share more about the birds, or their rescue stories, and directions for going around the place. Again, it's not super big but would be a nice addition.

I told my husband, I needed a dog and we decided to go look at the rescues. We went to Nate's Honor Animal Rescue on Lorraine Road. We were both impressed with the cleanness of the place and the staff. After showing us all their dogs and downsizing to just 3 pups we were taken to a room to meet them 1 on 1. The volunteer helping us never rushed us. She was very patient. She even brought them all back for a second look because I couldn't decide on one of them. In the end, we took our baby girl Brandy home. We are so happy with her. Thank you for giving us a baby to take care of.

They Truly Care!…read more They are a non-profit organization. I saw some of their kitties that were up for adoption at Pet Supermarket. Pet Supermarket allows them to have some space to show some of the cats & kittens that they have up for adoption. We went into Pet Supermarket for items for our other kitty, but fell in love with one of the cats they had up for adoption. The store phoned the organization rep., she came right down & interviewed us, & we were able to go home with our new baby. Their kitties have been examined by a vet, spayed or neutered, treated for internal & external parasites, & will have up to date vaccines. We love this organization & want to adopt another kittie from them. Oh, they also take (& need) donations of money, food, supplies - whatever you can spare.
