I keep going back again and again, hoping to find some sales or something within my price range…read more(like they used to). I love what they do, but this is certainly not thrift store prices. I can absolutely buy most of the items brand new for the same price or less. I'm hesitant to write a review but I am unable to give them feedback on their Facebook page and feel they need to hear from typical shoppers that they are pricing out a great percentage of their potential patrons. I do know they have sales for specific color tags, but those are very few and far between. Even then, a 50 or 75% off price is what the item should have originally been marked for.

This…read morestore is affiliated to the episcopal church and all profits go to charitable causes; so you can feel good while you thrift. The store is located downtown just across from Whole Foods. There is some limited parking directly in front of the store. You never know what they have in and it all changes depending on the donations they received at the time. The store is not big but they usually have a selection of clothing, household items, books, art, and nicknacks. Prices are generally fairly low so you can get a good bargain. Employees are kind and helpful.

"Thrifters" I thought were weird, but as it turns out and the more I observe this species, it's clear that they have a nice little side hustle of buying and reselling. I watch them like an Audubon bird watcher naming each newly discovered species as watch them and peer between the top racked old shoes and I meander past the lidless pots and pans. And somehow I found myself attracted to a counter girl which is weird because she's totally not my type. However she definitely has one very attractive attribute and when I get her at checkout, it's kinda like that old highschool fluttered firework heart throbbing feeling which I'm currently completely uncomfortable with, so I smile and pay and run out of there.

Every time I go there is something new (though there has also been a lot of downsizing). The store is run by a very friendly gentleman named Don who has been in the antiques business for decades. He knows a lot about the items that her has, and sometimes he's willing to make a deal especially if you're purchasing more than one item. Prices are generally fair. Definitely worth checking out.

There is a particular bias towards Floridiana kitch, which I adore since I am a true Floridian gal. Lots of gator things or other vintage items you could have found at old gas stations of orange stands. Masks, kitchen wear, decorations, jewelry--they have a really unique selection of it all. They also have a pretty decent selection of vintage clothes. There were a few dresses I liked, but they were priced a bit much for me ($80 upwards, but I did see some cheaper clothes too). Other than that. Things were definitely within the affordable/inexpensive range, which is kind of an anomaly with antique stores.
