Depending on the month, there will be an additional sale on the color of the tag. The store is clean, well laid out, and staff are always polite and helpful. They get in new items regularly and you never know what you will find. Proceeds from the sales go to the pines rehabilitation center.

The tag color sale is always clearly posted throughout the shop, and everything is well organized, even the books! DVDs are a bit much in my opinion, but everything else is priced well. Everything is always clean. An employee even told us that everything from the clothes to the postcards are cleaned. Speaking of post cards, the selection of items is really good, with plenty of organized art/craft supplies and cards.

The staff at this location are not rude or anything, but not as nice as those at the other location. Maybe it just feels less welcoming? I am sure their cleaning standards are the same as the other location, but everything feels grimier at this location. We honestly do not even stop by here anymore after going to the main campus.

The staff at the smaller place across the street was super nice, more people working in the back than out front, but still helpful, more clothes than furniture there but still good prices on everything and sales posted in various places.

They won't ask a man to do that. I'm 70 years old and have trouble standing while working. I got light headed while standing there and thought I was going to pass out. The volunteer next to me said she was a nurse and I was glad that she said that. A man brought his wife's consignments in and they asked where his wife was and he said she was waiting in the car. Next time I will send in my husband and wait in the car.They don't welcome people who come into shop. I did see 2 women stocking shelves who were nice. The rest of the volunteers just want you to get out of their way so that they can get the clothes on the racks. I've beed consigning there for several years and they still have no idea that I'm a long-term consignee. Why not come in early to price and stock. They are the rudest shop in downtown Venice.

This is a donation drop off center for goodwill located in downtown Sarasota. You cannot buy any…read moreitems here as the location only deals with drop offs. They take all kinds of donations, from clothing, art, crockery and plates, through to furniture and home items. You can drive right up to the front door and an attendant will come out to help with the unloading. Quick and efficient. They also gave me a receipt for my donation for tax purposes.
