They were hardwire fixtures from Lowes and had never been out of the box or even opened. Probably a couple hundred dollars worth. Common sense there ain't none and they'll get no more donations from me. I drove all the way to Englewood from Port Charlotte to give them those lights and I also gave them a brand new propane heater worth over $249. Pathetic.

A friend and I were intrigued immediately by the window displays that drew us in. They were helpful as we picked out beautiful and unique clothing items and tripepd them on while also helping others and letting everyone know about the sale items. The clothing ranged from flowy dresses to golf clothes to casual shorts and tanks. The jewelry was beautiful, especially the I I I cut glass from Czechoslovakia. Great store with a nice variety. Excellent service too. They even gave us advice on several thrift stores in the area.

I was able to get just about everything for our house there. All of the workers are helping and friendly. I would recommend going in early the day of the auction to get your seat and get it close to the front where Joe is auctioning otherwise you can't here him if you are toward the back.

They won't ask a man to do that. I'm 70 years old and have trouble standing while working. I got light headed while standing there and thought I was going to pass out. The volunteer next to me said she was a nurse and I was glad that she said that. A man brought his wife's consignments in and they asked where his wife was and he said she was waiting in the car. Next time I will send in my husband and wait in the car.They don't welcome people who come into shop. I did see 2 women stocking shelves who were nice. The rest of the volunteers just want you to get out of their way so that they can get the clothes on the racks. I've beed consigning there for several years and they still have no idea that I'm a long-term consignee. Why not come in early to price and stock. They are the rudest shop in downtown Venice.

It would be considered helping the Salvation Army make a lot of money off her nice Alfred Dunner clothes. I think they need to get a dictionary on the meaning of dumping. I won't be back here because of that nasty sign.
