They won't ask a man to do that. I'm 70 years old and have trouble standing while working. I got light headed while standing there and thought I was going to pass out. The volunteer next to me said she was a nurse and I was glad that she said that. A man brought his wife's consignments in and they asked where his wife was and he said she was waiting in the car. Next time I will send in my husband and wait in the car.They don't welcome people who come into shop. I did see 2 women stocking shelves who were nice. The rest of the volunteers just want you to get out of their way so that they can get the clothes on the racks. I've beed consigning there for several years and they still have no idea that I'm a long-term consignee. Why not come in early to price and stock. They are the rudest shop in downtown Venice.

I spotted an ad on the local Craigslist for a piece that they had for sale. When I got to the store, I was impressed that they had a full stock of furniture and items all in outstanding condition for great prices. I only bought what I came for but I could have easily broken the bank right there. Customer service was outstanding. They offered delivery through a local insured moving company and when I changed my destination address, Cindy's said they'd pay the difference in any delivery costs. I knew there'd be no difference since the new address was closer than the original one but, still, who does that? That was an amazing thing to offer a customer! If you're in the market for a new piece of furniture or decor, make them your first stop. You might not have to go anywhere else.
