Fortunately our discoveries were fairly minor (cushions for chairs unseamed etc) overall this is a good spot to go for your needs. We stop in every day just to "get some steps in" but hardly ever buy anything because EVERYTHING is ridiculously high priced. I don't understand what they are trying to accomplish. They seem to be very uptight, controlling people running that place as well, with signs warning you about using your cellphone while in the store. LOL. Really? That is not a good way to treat customers in my opinion. There is very little there to shop for anyway. They won't ask a man to do that. I'm 70 years old and have trouble standing while working. I got light headed while standing there and thought I was going to pass out. The volunteer next to me said she was a nurse and I was glad that she said that. A man brought his wife's consignments in and they asked where his wife was and he said she was waiting in the car. Next time I will send in my husband and wait in the car.They don't welcome people who come into shop. I did see 2 women stocking shelves who were nice. The rest of the volunteers just want you to get out of their way so that they can get the clothes on the racks. I've beed consigning there for several years and they still have no idea that I'm a long-term consignee. Why not come in early to price and stock. They are the rudest shop in downtown Venice.

I had a barbecue chicken one with no cheese and it was good but afterwards I had a piece of their very unusual meringue Keylime pie, which was delicious exceptionally sweet but the cup of coffee which was also good we went outside and the picture you'll see a picture of a pelican that was sitting right outside. It's right on the ocean and we sat where we could see everything this pelican was there for most of the time we ate.
