Ordering online is easy and the baker texts when and where to pick up. Good variety including frozen waffles.

Horrible experience! After the death of Mitzi, my 6-toed Polydactyl (Hemingway) cat I went to St…read moreFrancis to adopt again. I told the volunteer that I had a soft spot for Hemingway's. She informed me that one had been brought in that day. She introduced me to "Pollyanna", opened the cage, and encouraged me to pet her. I stated that I wanted to adopt her. I was told that she needed to be spayed, and would be ready for adoption in about a week. I was certainly willing to wait. The next morning, I realized that I had forgotten to take a picture of Polly the previous day and called the office to ask if I could stop by and take a quick photo. "Of course!" said the woman on the phone, "Come on over." When I arrived, a volunteer took me to Polly's cage and started to open the door. Another woman shouted, "Don't open that door!" The volunteer explained she was opening it because I just wanted to take a photo. I said 'No problem, I'll just take the photo through the bars of the cage, no need to open. "NO PHOTO'S!" she shouted, "It's against policy!" I expressed surprise that such a policy existed, as it was just a simple photo. "NO PHOTO'S!"...The conversation became tense and I regret that I used some inappropriate language, as she refused to allow me to take a photo of the cat I wanted to adopt. After leaving, I phoned again to ask the name of that horrible woman. The receptionist would only say, "She's the DIRECTOR." That is very troubling. My concern is not simply about the photograph, however if there is a policy prohibiting visitors from photographing pets, I would like to see it, and why someone with such aggression can be in authority and dealing with the public? I came to St Francis grieving the loss of my beloved Mitzi, hoping to give another cat a loving home. I was met with unnecessary hostility and disrespect. I called every day, checking Polly's status, still expecting to adopt Polly after spaying. They gave vague answers, then refused to take my calls and finally releasing the cat to another person! The way prospective adopters are treated reflects the organization as a whole. I will be contacting every member on their Board of Trustees to review this incident. I sincerely hope no other adopter has a similar experience,

This dog was abandoned and found in a field with her sister when they were just 10 weeks old and Julie took them into her rescue and sprayed and vaccinated them and found forever homes for them. She is healthy and the best dog that I have ever had. I see Julie out at adoption events from time to time and she has always has amazing dogs and cats and does a great job. I totally recommend her rescue.

I think Gianna thinks she is a puppy. Or maybe it is the other way around. If you are looking to adopt, I highly recommend Royal Rescue. Julie has an amazing network of people who foster. That give homeless Mama's and their babies a chance. Gianna's Mom came in as a feral cat. And due to constant love and touch Gianna's foster Mom, Pam McDonald gave to these Mama and her babies changed the outlook of their lives forever. Gianna is the most loving kitten. When she isn't sleeping side by side with Kylo. She falls asleep on our chest and ends up on our neck. Wrapped around like a scarf. She of course came to us completely litter box trained. I apologize this review is so lengthy, but I have actually shortened it. Thank you again Julie and Pam!!! I know the work you do isn't easy and is very time consuming. But so very admirable. You are all a blessing. Love Always, Elaine Gennuso

We were told our dog had heart issues and pancreatitis. They put our girl on meds including heart meds. We had a bad feeling based on our visit. We went to another vet and sent all results to a second vet along with a cardiologist and had a echocardiogram done. 3 vets and a cardiologist state our little girl is fine and to remove her from the heart meds immediately. We called and attempted to speak the vet Dr Pam numerous times with no luck and no return call. We ended calling back and spoke to a lady who stated she was the vet tech. We explained what happened and about the major misdiagnosis. The lady said well we won't give any money back as they did the tests. They didn't seem to be concerned that they totally misdiagnosed our dog! This is so scary especially with them putting our dog on heart meds when they were not needed! It cost us thousands of dollars all for a misdiagnosis, which could have resulted in major issues for our dog. The office manager was supposed to call us back to discuss but never did.
