The home had not been renovated since Jimmy Carter was in the White House so considerable work needed to be done! The renovation included electrical, plumbing, HVAC, cabinetry, stonework, floors, sub-floors, landscaping, appliances, drywall, painting, concrete, counter-work and oh yes...1977 called and wanted their bathrooms back. Michael did a great job of partnering with the family on all redecorating decisions and materials selection. His varied construction experience, coupled with his being a long time resident, helped Michael navigate local restrictions and building codes. His knowledgeable suggestions helped us save both time and money on more than one occasion. Michael and team replaced all of the home's counter-tops (kitchen and bathrooms). all kitchen appliances, thermostat, light fixtures and switches, as well as overseeing the installation of a new air conditioning unit. Hardwood floors were installed throughout the house and the sub-floor was replaced in multiple areas. The home's cabinets were replaced. as well as all of the windows and most of the doors. The bathrooms were gutted down to the sub-floor. All fixtures were replaced along with new granite, tile and backsplash...all masterfully and tastefully done. More than one wall was stripped down to the two by fours and we were able to witness Michael's expertise in hanging drywall and the subsequent painting. Michael also owns a fleet of dumpsters so demo removal was both cost effective and seamless. Michael's jovial demeanor served him well in dealing with both subcontractors and vendors alike, saving us money on more than one occasion. The dwelling has been in the family for more than one generation so Michael was offered a wealth of "advice." He handled it all with the "3 P's"...patience, professionalism & productivity. Michael came in on time and under budget and we will certainly use him for any future construction needs and highly recommend you do the same!! He can do it all!
