I was there on a Friday midday and was surprised by how messy the store was for only being open for 2 hours. It seems like it wasn't properly cleaned up before closing. The tops section was disorganized with a section for tanks that was oddly disrupted by regular blouses and then sweaters... and then more tanks. It was confusing to shop through and made it more difficult to find what I was looking for. I also noticed the prices being incredibly high for mediocre items (I literally saw a Gold's Gym tshirt someone probably got for free being priced at $9.99). A lot of items were damaged including a Free People top I would've totally bought had it not been missing beading and still priced at $20. I purchased a dress that was originally $12.99 but because the straps were safety pinned on and beading was missing, they were nice enough to give me a 10% discount. However, once I got home I noticed the sensor was left on the dress! Super disappointing and annoying since I don't live nearby. The dressing rooms were filthy with dust bunnies and clothes piled up all around the rooms with very few people working to get the area cleaned up. This place has boasted about how they weren't a normal "thrift store" because the shopping experience is supposed to be elevated thanks to the cleanliness and organization. But I'm afraid they've really lost their touch in both respects there. It's tough to justify paying the elevated prices when the customer experience isn't what it used to be.

While the staff reviewed my items, I had time to explore the three floors and was so impressed with how the shop was curated and the condition of the offerings. They have clothing, shoes, sunglasses, handbags, belts and jewelry. The inventory is extensive and they are particular with what they accept for consignment, they review condition on all items so a lot of the stuff is very gently used, almost new. I had asked them for 12 sheets of luan and they needed to be in good shape because I was using them on an exposed ceiling. The manager came over and I told him I needed them undamaged and he look at me with a very disrespectful stare and said that I was funny.... He was very ignorant and wasn't happy the staff were helping me. I checked over the luan that they pulled for me and a few were damaged and I didn't want to waste time having them put them back and get other ones so I told him I didn't want them and he can put them back. I just went to Home Depot and got the same thing in pristine condition for $0.50 more per sheet. They are overpriced there and management is horrible so goto another location or the Loading Dock in Baltimore. I buy stuff there and management is helpful and not ignorant.... He should be fired and never work in customer service or management of any type.... I hope he reads this. I am sure all of the staff know who I am talking about and they share my comment. All of the furniture that I've purchased here has been for less than $20, and I'm talking about good hardwood furniture and even a 7ft silk sofa wrapped in the OG plastic protectant. For my fellow DIYers, you'll come across sewing machines often here, some built into tables with full kits for about $15 - $25. There is also a rack for scrap fabric, and abandoned knitting projects in the back. This location is in the prime spot, as it receives donations from all demographics. So whatever your style is, you're bound to find something you'll like here.

Maryland Food Bank thrives off of weekend volunteer hours for packers in their conveyor belt area to box canned goods and boxed foods as they'd otherwise have to bill these hours to payroll. I enjoyed myself and even got in a little cardio as the belt moved more and more foodstuffs through. I was in charge of canned veggies and boy were there lots of them. It was a good time and I can't wait to go back!
