So inconvenient--we had to drive over to the bank to get some cash. Their policy also seems to work against them in that there was a huge line to the register because it takes longer counting out change than just swiping a card... They do have a bunch of stuff here for very very cheap. The clothes were all in disarray though, so I avoided that...and the cashier lady informed the customer in front of us that they don't have a maternity section..it's all just scattered in with regular clothes..so I can imagine how frustrating that'd be.. I did like the non-clothing selection though. Books for 99 cents? Heck yes! We also picked up some halloween decor for less than 10 bucks. To sum it up: messy clothing store, very cheap finds, long long line, and get some cash.

I used to really like this Goodwill, but after what happened today, I am so angry that I do not…read morethink I will ever go back. I brought my clothes to the register and handed the cashier the three hangers from the regularly priced clothing. I also explained that the remaining items had come from the bins. She responded, "Well, not everything in the bins is from the bins," and said customers sometimes put regular merchandise there. Then she pulled out a hoodie and told me it had to be charged at the regular price. The problem is that I personally watched an employee put that exact hoodie into the bin. I told her this, and she still insisted that it did not belong there. That is completely unfair. Customers should not be expected to somehow know that an item placed into the bins by an employee will suddenly be treated as regularly priced at checkout. You cannot change the rules after someone has already spent time shopping. I left extremely angry and feeling like I was being treated as though I had done something wrong. There used to be a really nice employee here who was kind and made shopping at this location enjoyable. That was not my experience today. The Goodwill near Lynn Road and Glenwood Avenue is a much better place to shop, and its prices are not nearly as ridiculous as this location's.

THIS GOODWILL IS AN ABSOLUTE NO! There's not enough room on here, and a complete waste of my time…read moreto communicate what all is wrong with this place. But apparently the management has fallen off the turnip truck! For a NONPROFIT who wants to keep the landfills from filling up and recycling "another man's treasure" and helping those who have limited budgets- they need to rethink their pricing! ESPECIALLY if you can go to big box stores and purchase items for 50% LESS opposed to purchasing at THIS particular store. I was floored to say the very least. Examples: 2 diamond art painting kits- their price: $4.99/go to Hobby Lobby and purchase the EXACT same kit for $3.50! Plain clear glass vases for arrangements-their price $5.99/ go to The Dollar Store and purchase the exact same vase for $1.25! Or go to At Home and purchase other bigger vases for less than the $19.99 prices they had! A framed generic picture (not art work- A PRINT) in a plastic frame $44.99!!! My lesson for the day: I will NEVER take another item to this Goodwill store and more than likely any goodwill store if this is how they want to support a community. Even if it is a couple of miles from my home and convenient! I'll go out of my way to support another charity- donating and purchasing! This was an eye opener and it really disappointed and saddened me. I truly hated to give this review but BUYER BEWARE. PS: The Goodwill store in the Brier Creek area has some better prices and IMHO better selection. And I spent money there! So much for not wasting my time. Maybe management will see this scathing review and so something about it. But I doubt it.

Nice selection of books and clothing. The clerk was friendly and helpful and I would visit again.read more

The selection was great - the…read morestore was small, but had a wide variety and lots of brand-new items (tags on and everything). The housewares included lots of things you'd never expect to find at a Goodwill. They had a handful of brand name electronics and even some Coach shoes. I managed to pick up some very nice items - I was definitely pleased with the fruits of my trip. If only if weren't for the staff. At about 25 minutes before closing time, they turned off half the lights in the store. Included in that half of the store was the dressing room. Ever tried on clothes in the dark? Of course not, because that defeats the entire purpose. Then, once I got out of the dressing room and was waiting to check out, one of the employees was (quite brusquely) herding people towards the register, then hovered just behind the line imposingly. When a couple walked into the still-unlocked door, she very rudely told them the store was closed and to come back tomorrow. I'd say that if you go early in the day, don't ask any questions of the staff, and take an antihistamine (the dressing room was VERY dusty), you'll have a great experience at this Goodwill location.
