I stop by here 1x/wk usually when in the vicinity. Decent selection, good things go fast. Goodwill…read morepricing is ridiculous sometimes, but can find a rare bargain here and there. Most of the staff are great, but one of the tall manager ladies here is really negative, crotchety, weird, and unpleasant always yelling at other employees and never being serviceable to customers - it is always uncomfortable when she is around, so docking a couple stars for her.

Let me start by stating that I am a frequent customer and donator of the Goodwill. I literally shop…read morein various locations several times a week for my grands and family. The staff at this location is extremely rude and sketchy! They hold items for their friends and family and up-charge on items when the prices are clearly listed on the board behind the check out counter. I had a horrible experience at this location, I attempted to ask about an item that was sitting on the sales floor and was told that the item was sold! Now I'm not new to Goodwill so I'm aware that when an item is sold, there is a sold tag that would be placed on the item! This item did not have a sold tag on it, but the woman stated it was sold and refused to give me a price. Literally 3 mins. Later a woman and a young child rushed into the store and she took them Over to the item and sold it to her after I asked about the item! (See Photos for transaction). Secondly, she was made aware that I took a photo of the item and the complete transaction as she discussed it with her friend that she was holding it for, as they stood at the counter speaking about the item and my interest while her friend mentioned she would be back to put in an employment application. (Sketchy). This is the type of shenanigans that is going on at this particular location. Once I approached the counter to check out with the items that I was able to secure, the same store associate tried to up-charge me for a pair of kids sneakers that should have been $2.49 she wanted to charge me $6.99. I declined the item because the price on the board directly behind the counter showed $2.49 for kids shoes. (SMH) The Goodwill is a Non Profit Organization that helps out the local community, but the local community do not want to be taken advantage of by unprofessional workers who are only working there for their own personal/selfish gain. It's a shame that the brand of the company and what they are attempting to do for the local community is being tarnished by people working there who are being petty and selfish. I do intend to take my complaint higher because there is no telling how long this type of behavior has been going on at this particular location and I feel that it needs to be brought to the attention of the Corporate Office. The Goodwill may need to hire some Secret shoppers and some Secret Staffers to make sure that their Brand is not being tarnished by their employees! I buy and donate quite often and just simply do not appreciate the deception and the overcharging of items when prices are clearly listed at the cash register.

All clothes are organized by color and type, and the prices are universal and labeled clearly on large signs hanging above each rack. 2. Overall pretty clean! 3. 2 dressing rooms 4. Good variety of home decor, small kitchen/household items, clothing, shoes, frames, furniture, etc. I don't think I saw any books though. 5. They have these awesome bins where pillow cases and curtains and such are like 75 cents or something! Cons: 1. A bit crowded (but it was a Saturday, so that's expected) 2. You have to dig/sort through some of the large bins (but that's where the most inexpensive stuff is!) 3. I didn't find anything today because I was looking for household decor, and I think that the store is 75% clothing/shoes. Overall a good stop for thrifting although I didn't come away buying anything this time. Better luck another day.

THIS GOODWILL IS AN ABSOLUTE NO! There's not enough room on here, and a complete waste of my time…read moreto communicate what all is wrong with this place. But apparently the management has fallen off the turnip truck! For a NONPROFIT who wants to keep the landfills from filling up and recycling "another man's treasure" and helping those who have limited budgets- they need to rethink their pricing! ESPECIALLY if you can go to big box stores and purchase items for 50% LESS opposed to purchasing at THIS particular store. I was floored to say the very least. Examples: 2 diamond art painting kits- their price: $4.99/go to Hobby Lobby and purchase the EXACT same kit for $3.50! Plain clear glass vases for arrangements-their price $5.99/ go to The Dollar Store and purchase the exact same vase for $1.25! Or go to At Home and purchase other bigger vases for less than the $19.99 prices they had! A framed generic picture (not art work- A PRINT) in a plastic frame $44.99!!! My lesson for the day: I will NEVER take another item to this Goodwill store and more than likely any goodwill store if this is how they want to support a community. Even if it is a couple of miles from my home and convenient! I'll go out of my way to support another charity- donating and purchasing! This was an eye opener and it really disappointed and saddened me. I truly hated to give this review but BUYER BEWARE. PS: The Goodwill store in the Brier Creek area has some better prices and IMHO better selection. And I spent money there! So much for not wasting my time. Maybe management will see this scathing review and so something about it. But I doubt it.

The housewares included lots of things you'd never expect to find at a Goodwill. They had a handful of brand name electronics and even some Coach shoes. I managed to pick up some very nice items - I was definitely pleased with the fruits of my trip. If only if weren't for the staff. At about 25 minutes before closing time, they turned off half the lights in the store. Included in that half of the store was the dressing room. Ever tried on clothes in the dark? Of course not, because that defeats the entire purpose. Then, once I got out of the dressing room and was waiting to check out, one of the employees was (quite brusquely) herding people towards the register, then hovered just behind the line imposingly. When a couple walked into the still-unlocked door, she very rudely told them the store was closed and to come back tomorrow. I'd say that if you go early in the day, don't ask any questions of the staff, and take an antihistamine (the dressing room was VERY dusty), you'll have a great experience at this Goodwill location.
