We've made a hobby out of venturing into each Goodwill Centers to see what we find. You could go everyday and find something new there. Interesting that we find the same faces that venture inside and scavenge for items both new and old. I also like the holiday spread of Halloween costumes as you enter the storefront. All new costumes and entertaining to pour through for this holiday! I'd say if you're not finding anything on the store shelves come here. I never done the bins. I had a Goodwill before, but I was in town without my children.( no kids allowed) packed my gloves and gave it a shot. Most of the items I found in bins were meh. Now I'm coming from out of town. So my expectations of scoring a cool item was probably higher than necessary, but it just seemed like what was coming in was kind of crap. Only spent $20 filling it up with a good handful of items, but I wouldn't go out of my way to do it again. read more

Items rang up higher than the ticket price. The manager said she couldn't honor the sticker price. I told her it was bad business, but she laughed and said ,"Sorry.". Needless to say, I left all the clothing on the counter and left. This is the location in Pflugerville near the 130 toll. Do better Goodwill, this isn't Macy's!!! read more

I like this goodwill not because it's one of the largest but because I have found quite a few interesting gems at this location. They tend to have a good selection of pictures, books, and music. They also offer some furnishings and electronics, but they're not always worth looking at. They have a decent amount of parking and fairly clean bathrooms. Like most Goodwills , this store is also dedicated towards the space given over mostly to clothing items. I usually like to show up here once a week or so on Tuesday for senior day where you save up to 30%. read more

Really poor selection of outdated clothes that they price like they're gold. Goodwill you're a THRIFT store. $15 for used shoes is NOT thrifty. Get real. Goodwill is quickly becoming the worst place to shop in Austin. read more

There are a few things I really like about this Goodwill location in Pflugerville.. 1. Location-it is very convenient & close by my house so I don't have to go out of my way if I'm in the mood to pop some tags at Goodwill ;). 2. Cleanliness -this G.W location is always kept clean, organized, & is a good size store inside with plenty of parking. 3. Variety of items- I always find "treasures" when shopping at this location because the selection of items is very plentiful! My most recent treasures found were plastic containers with sealed tight lids to help me organize my refrigerator for only $1.99 each! A lot of reviews mention how expensive the items here are and while that may be the case for some things, overall I found this to be a typical Goodwill with a mix of treasures. There was a "color of the week" that marked certain items down to 50% off the tag price. This is a smaller Goodwill so there is a more limited inventory but there was plenty to look at. I don't come to Goodwill for their customer service but absolutely no one here was rude or offensive. I only needed help to get into a fitting room and someone came right away to check for available stalls. I think all thrift stores are hit or miss so even if I hadn't found lots of good things, I would come back. read more

Pulled up and the guy came right out to unload my donations. I didn't have to lift a finger. What a great way to make sure that my slightly used items could benefit some one else! Seriously easy and it gave me a good feeling to think that the stuff that I didn't need anymore could help someone else. read more

I used to come to this goodwill but like 2 months ago when we were checking out the cashier was rude to us and it made us feel uncomfortable. I recently went again and unluckily for us we got the same rude guy and I immediately knew he was going to be rude. He didn't give us the receipt even after we asked for it. He instead called the next customer and just side eyed. We asked again for the receipt and he sighed and ignored. Extremely unprofessional and I will not be going for a while. I just wanted the receipt so I could return my clothes in case they didn't fit. read more

Lots of clothing! Hardgoods were picked over and everything was pricey. Many items had damaged.

Found a pair of boots in the store today for 12.99 when I brought them up to the register a very rude lady said "something don't look right". The workers then brought the item into the back and adjusted the price more than triple what it was listed at. (From 12.99 upto 39.99) I was super mad and just walked out of the store, once home I called the store GM and explained what happened.. He could have cared less, offered no help.. "people change prices all the time and we reserve the right to change prices at any time".. basically calling me a liar and a crook. I understand much of the staff are working off rehabilitation requirements, students on work release but the staff I dealt with today was none of that. Shame on you Goodwill you are not worthy of reviving another dime from anyone. Added more pics of crazy prices. read more

Everything is so overpriced here. Sometimes I can find some good jeans that they haven't marked up to $24.99, but I had to pass on the $12 moldy wicker baskets, and the $50 chipped mirrors. Pflugerville needs more good thrift stores! read more

I remember when Goodwill was the place for bargains. That ship has so clearly sailed. I was in need of a roller bag for an upcoming trip. I figured $10, or maybe $20 for a name brand. The first bag I picked up was $35! Looked pretty good, but was clearly used and had scuffs and spots. The second one, a store brand, was also $35! Since the product cost is zero, it seems a bit too greedy to me. To be fair to this operator, I've seen this at other locations as well. Sure, I know, or least hope that the profits go to a good cause, but why take advantage of people of modest means in the process? read more

The store is clean but their prices are outrageous. For example, I saw a tin container for $3.99. I had bought the exact same container at the Dollar Store for $1 a few years back. There were mugs priced a couple of dollars over what they're priced new in the store. IDK, I appreciate that Goodwill provides GED classes and such for the community, but it seems that people who shop at Gpodwill are also community members who can't afford store prices, and they need help as well. Maybe it's the trend of buying at Goodwill and flipping online for a profit that's caused prices to go up and Goodwill wants to get in on the game. read more

Worst Goodwill I have ever been to. The establishment has clothing racks that are so close together that it's practically difficult to maneuver through the aisles with two carts going opposite directions. I was there recently & one of the workers practically squeezed between me & my sister to hang a piece of clothing on the rack. There was no "excuse me" or anything. We thought it was weird. When my sister was checking out, the cashier said they were out of bags & it was really awkward seeing her carry her pieces of clothing out the door. I never really go to Goodwill unless I'm looking for something in particular, but I'll be sure to just make the drive to the Goodwill in Hutto if I do go again. read more

Very rude aggressive people at donations part. I had new items the 3 people working there said they couldn't take items when my husband asked why? a female got in his face and became aggressive. We got the manager and he looked at the items and said there was no reason why they couldn't except these items and apologized!! I will be contacting corporate to complain the. Donations are what pay the salary of the people working but I guess these 3 are too dumb to understand that! I will not be donating or referring anyone to this location and it's sad I been a customer for 3 years shameful!!! read more

It looks to be a new building, as it looks much bigger and more industrial-looking than other Goodwills I've seen. Since it is bigger, it also has much more clothing than other stores, which each have a separate price tag (the Goodwill closer to home as a clothing-type system, for example all short sleeve shirts are $5.95). There are many dressing rooms that are large with the basic mirrors and hooks to hang your things. There is also a section in the corner with higher-priced luxury items, but it looks like those are for auction, with a sign for the website nearby. Customer service could be better, as not a single staff member acknowledged my presence in the store, but I'll say it's because the store was quite busy that day. read more

Horrible service, the cashiers ignored us while they laughed and chit-chatted. No one ever rung us up for our items so we walked out and didn't buy anything. Not coming back here again, someone needs to teach those girls the value of costumer service, I doubt they'll get a job working anywhere else than Goodwill. read more

I found a couple nice things here but unfortunately due to poor customer service on more than one occasion had to write this review. On one occasion, I was sorting through my cart near the register trying to determine what I was going to buy and was told I could not set anything on the dining table that was for sale. Literally a minute later, another customer began doing the same thing and the same employee who told me I could not do that struck up a long conversation with her (they seemed to know each other but still - I was right there!). On another occasion, I waited in line at least 10 minutes only to be told I the credit card system was down and on top of that could not leave my items on hold longer than 30 minutes. I went to another store and found a couple dresses for half the price. I am not sure I will return. read more

UPDATE! Cynthia is the new manager on-board here and what a difference she has made in the short time she has been at this location. She came from the Hutto store and she is quickly making improvements here. More organization....removing old merchandise....pricing is improving. Really happy to see the improvements. They usually have a nice selection of merchandise and I hope to see the better pricing like I did on my last two visits since Cynthia took over. read more
