STAY FAR, FAR AWAY. If I could add a negative review, I absolutely would. I came here new, after moving 3 mos. ago from my beloved GoodVets in Nashville Gulch, however what I encountered could not have been anything less than incompetence, greed and obstinance at every turn.
As to be expected, I sent over my dog's records prior to his visit, but what I wasn't expected was that they would be completely ignored. His obvious skin infection was never mentioned, and while I was praised for making his own food, I received notes to put him on what looked like a template for pellet food (??).
Secondly, I noted that my dog has been struggling since relocating, and despite having extensive bloodwork done recently which I mentioned and was also shown in his records, I could hear the Vet tell the tech in the back how "they really should get me to do it" to which I could only assume was for a financial gain ($264). I relented out of concern, and again out of shock and pressure, agreed to pay the outrageous sum of $660 for services, essentially feeling like I had no other choice.
Skip to the following week when I had to summon the ACTUAL blood results for my own fact finding, I realized the Vet's "findings" were wilding out of line, but in fact stated that there was major cause for concern and quite frankly scared me to death and wanted me to come back in for more testing in 4 weeks. To verify, I sent these results to my previous vet, who confirmed I was, in fact correct, and my dog was perfectly healthy, and the GoodVets Brooklyn Vet was incorrect, but it appeared was simply looking to make more money and again, misread my dog's charts.
Worse. I was told to come back in January for additional vaccinations including highly expensive Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella, of which he received Jan. 2025 and are good for 3 years. Again, these were given by the GoodVets in Nashville, so all of these paperwork is what they're familiar with. Outside of utter incompetence, I can only assume they are out for greed.
When I brought this to the attention of the GoodVets Downtown Manager, stating I obviously don't trust anything Dr. Park has to say, particularly in any of her assessments, and will now have to seek another veterinarian to perform this work so I obviously want a refund - I was met with an absolutely combative, rude and disrespectful woman who refused to assist me, and when asked, even refused to pass me along to her general manager.
My simple request was to get a refund for the services I wish no one EVER has to experience and not a SINGLE person seems to care there. To date, I am still out over $400, waiting on calls promised from the general manager and/or corporate staff.
FYI - there are no phone numbers for district managers or corporate staff to elevate issues and I refuse to accept that I am out hundreds of dollars for the negligence of this GoodVets staff.
PLEASE, DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU LOVE YOU BABIES LIKE YOUR CHILDREN. IT IS NOT WORTH IT. read more
