Falls Park Tire & Auto - Rusty supposedly brand new replaced caliper. First time.

Recently went to Falls Park Tire and Auto on a local recommendation to replace two rear calipers on…read moremy Honda. When I picked up the vehicle the two calipers looked drastically different from each other. One shiny silver. The other charcoal black/grey. Drove it locally for less than a day and rust appeared all over the one dark colored caliper. When I called to let them know they said bring it back in and we will check it out. So I had to return within 48 hours of spending $437 for two calipers I was told were purchased from Auto Zone. They did replace it - as a courtesy as I was "concerned" about rust on a brand new part. And yep, it's not the same color either. So I drove by Auto Zone and was told the different colored caliper in no way came from them. So, not sure if it's manufactured or what but I didn't expect to pay for unmatching calipers and cannot trust where the product came from. Hopefully this one works well and doesn't rust unexpectedly. I am surprised by my experience given all the reviews, but I have to share my experience. See photos of "new" caliper with rust and the final two calipers with drastically different finish claimed to be from Auto Zone.

Bought a full set of remolded (bead to bead retreaded tires) they had no problem or complaints…read moreabout mounting and balancing them for me. I also needed them to install my new TPMS sensors. They had no problem agreeing when I suggested my new tires needed static balanced instead of dynamically, and they forewarned me that their computer may not be able to setup my TPMS (I told them if they couldn't I'll but the equipment later to do it) but they definitely got the sensors activated, about three miles down the road all sensors are reading. So I feel they are great to work with and what it cost for mounting balancing tires I didn't even buy from them. Thumbs Up Thank you guys, as easy as you are to work with I'm gonna have my tires done here from now on.

Absolutely the best! Will was fast, the price was more than fair, and he actually saved us from…read moredoing a more expensive repair! We had been told by a couple people that my son's car needed a new starter - Will easily identified a battery terminal issue after a quick diagnostic. Within a couple minutes, Will knew what the issue was, and we were able to go down to the auto parts store and purchase everything we needed for under $20. He was able to get the car running in less than an hour and went above and beyond to make modifications to one part I bought (battery bracket) because the store didn't have the exact type we needed. Will's work was pristine. I cannot say enough about how great of an experience this was. He is also very kind and pleasant! Additionally, I would like to note that he performed all repairs that were requested, he arrived within 25 minutes of my call, on a Sunday, in the snow, and had everything done within an hour (part of this hour was him waiting on my trip to the auto parts store!). This will be the only person I call for any mechanic needs. I've shared his contact info with my family and recommend him to everyone! I've dealt with several mobile mechanics in the Indy area and can say Will is obviously and by far the most knowledgeable, honest, and gets straight to the resolution of the issue. Thank you so much, I feel better knowing my son's car is working -- and that he can call you if he runs into any other problems. :)

I contacted them through the online appointment request form, specifying that I knew I had a fuel leak. Then, I called after they had my truck over 24 hours and had not heard from them, just to see if they got to it yet. They said it was done early that morning then listed off about a dozen problems that needed fixed for thousands of dollars. I knew this already from a different shop I took my old truck to some time ago. Yes, it needs work all the time. For the fuel issue they wanted about $800. I told them I'd just need to pick it up and come back another time. I don't have an extra $800. So I go in and I'm told the bill is $150.92. I said, oh did they do something?? In quite a tone I was told, "yeah, he looked at it!" Wow, I never asked for anyone to look over the entire truck. As I said, I knew my current problem, told them what I needed looked at, and did not need anything else looked over! I've NEVER been charged anything close to that, if anything at all, at any other shop! So I took it to a guy who works out of his garage at home and had him look at my truck and their big list. Immediately, one "issue" they emphasized needing to be done "TODAY" was not even an issue! I feel like it will be pointless to try and get even some of my $ back so I'm just telling others not to go there! Anyone I mentioned them to had nothing good to say. I didn't know it wasn't a good place to go. Live and learn.

DONT SEND YOUR CARS TO HIM!…read more He does great work. He really does. But his customer service sucks. We sent someone to him because he does good work AND gives payment options. So the people I sent his way, needed to hold back one more week for the last payment. And yes, he is upset and I get it. But the fact that he didn't message them, and instead start sending me nasty messages. [ again, not my car he fixed, and not me that made a payment arrangement, becuase again, this wasent me or my car that went to him. All I did was send someone his way ] So when he started sending me nasty messages, I snapped back at him and reminded him that I'm not the one he needs to be messaging me. But to him, HE assumes if you send someone his way, he HOLDS YOU RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR PAYMENTS! So after I snapped back at him, and he started making threats to me. [ again, not once has he messaged these other people about their agreement. Instead he comes to me! What a joke. Travis Blockson Trav Blockson Heres the owner ^^ So again, if you send someone his way, just remember, YOU are responsible for THEIR agreement. I'm not a business owner or anything but I thought it was between the customer and the owner, and between the Guy who is recommending people to him and the owner about someone else's payment. So let me ask yall this. Should he of messaged the customer NICELY about their agreement? Or should he of messaged the guy that's recommending his shop to these customer's? I know things has changed in the world, but I always thought it was the customers responsibility of their own bill, and not the guy recommending. Thoughts? AND again, he does GREAT work. Just shouldnt be running a business if you can't figure out who to contact when a customer is late on their bill.
