With a history of skin cancer, I've since had 2 annual checkups with Hudson Dermatology at the Fishkill office. Each visit with the doctor could not have lasted more than 90 seconds. On my 2nd annual checkup last fall I pointed out to him some dry rough areas on my forehead and nose that typically would have been hit with liquid nitrogen by my previous dermatologist. I know what to look for. The doctor just stated, "Oh, that's just sun damage" and walked out the door. Very disrespectful and it seemed as if he just couldn't be bothered. With considerable research, I've since found another dermatology group that listens to the patient, cares about the patient, and takes care of business. I had my first appointment with them yesterday, and those two areas now needed to be biopsied. If you're a senior or have a history of skin cancer, steer well clear of this group. As a side note, the response to my review from Hudson Dermatology alleges I am using an alias. I am not. I inadvertently posted my review to other office locations, which I've since deleted. This review is specific to the Fishkill office and still stands.

This is a solo practice where they work hard to make sure a patient doesn't wait for their scheduled appointment. So unlike the other dermatology practices in the area that feel like factories with waiting rooms overflowing with people long overdue for their appointments. The staff at Dermatology Associates is always warm, welcoming, and professional. They are extremely helpful and pleasant. What a nice feeling to walk into this office! I was skeptical about it at first, since it would come and go, but trusted the advice. The prescription information did say it could take a handful of weeks. Lo' and behold, a handful of weeks later and for the first 3-4 weeks in a long time, I haven't had an acne breakout at all. I can't believe my skin is actually getting better and healing. But Dr. Cummings has been very helpful and convinced me to try Narrow Band Light therapy and so far it's going ok, but it's a lot better than having to use topicals that have thinned my skin. I also don't know why there are bad reviews saying that the front staff is rude, I've never had a bad experience with them and they're very polite to everyone that walks in. I highly recommend Dr. Cummings if you you have skin issues.

She…read morehas a very gentle touch and does her best to make me feel comfortable when I had a basal cell carcinoma removed. While in the waiting room, I met an elderly man who had a melanoma removed. He told me she saved his life. I told him she saved my life, too. All the nurses and staff from the reception area were very kind and supportive. The doctors' treatment rooms and waiting areas were immaculate. Everyone was religious in observing COVID-19 protocols. She was hand picked by my family doctor and dermatologist. If I have any more skin cancers removed, she will be the one to do it!
