I have had 2 appointments that were confirmed only for them to be canceled. This is telling that office staff not communicating with the receptionists. I was told many untruths, which leads to me seeing incompetence. And then not calling me when they said they would is very unprofessional. This is a solo practice where they work hard to make sure a patient doesn't wait for their scheduled appointment. So unlike the other dermatology practices in the area that feel like factories with waiting rooms overflowing with people long overdue for their appointments. The staff at Dermatology Associates is always warm, welcoming, and professional. They are extremely helpful and pleasant. What a nice feeling to walk into this office! I've had eczema since i was a child and have had almost every treatment available and have gone through so many doctors that have given up on my case. But Dr. Cummings has been very helpful and convinced me to try Narrow Band Light therapy and so far it's going ok, but it's a lot better than having to use topicals that have thinned my skin. I also don't know why there are bad reviews saying that the front staff is rude, I've never had a bad experience with them and they're very polite to everyone that walks in. While in the waiting room, I met an elderly man who had a melanoma removed. He told me she saved his life. I told him she saved my life, too. All the nurses and staff from the reception area were very kind and supportive. The doctors' treatment rooms and waiting areas were immaculate. Everyone was religious in observing COVID-19 protocols. She was hand picked by my family doctor and dermatologist. If I have any more skin cancers removed, she will be the one to do it!
