The new part didn't fix the problem, and things were looking grim. But John went looking again and found a wire that had either been chewed by a mouse or scraped up against the unit's casing. He fixed this and recharged the system and everything is working very well. And I didn't have to buy a whole new system!! John was professional and very courteous and I would trust him to do an honest job for you, if you need HVAC solutions. I have no problem giving a 5-star review.

He knows geothermal inside and out and he saved me from getting muscled by another company that didn't know how to work on geothermal but claimed they did, and bottom line didn't really care about trying to fix it. They just wanted to sell me a new furnace. John, said he would come and take a look to see if he could do anything. Do anything???? He literally fixed it in less than 10 minutes!! His experience and knowledge was impressive to say the least. My unit is fixed, and yes I'm going to need a new one soon. And I'll be going to John to do it. Good honest man who does an amazing job, doesn't want to price gouge you or pressure you, when you are already stressed at having no heat in your home. In fact, they immediately directed us to a Trane dealer 45 miles away. Really? It pains me to write this as they are so local, but what kind of customer service is that?? We had a problem with a unit they handle. They didn't care a wit, and still don't. The first time they will even know we tried to give them business is when they will read this review. We ended up calling a very small company in Centre Hall and they ANSWERED THEIR PHONE and solved our problem immediately. Call C&C. I feel bad for Bierly, but they earned this review.

Then, we discovered that the propane wasn't being filled by them so that is why it wouldn't light. After about 2 months of calling them asking for the propane to be filled, they finally sent someone out and filled it. Next, they claimed they couldn't inspect the fireplace without a pressure test of the line. Another 2 months of them no-showing for multiple appointments, they finally came in October and completed the pressure testing and inspection of the fireplace. Afterwards, I was told I needed a part which would be in the next week. After five weeks of not hearing anything, I called them. They told me that they have no record of ever coming out to my house and that they would have to come and do the same thing again. Then, when I told them that they had already been to my house for the service appointment, they told me that they have no record of me being a customer. They then wanted to charge me another insane amount to come out again. I'm finally just done and going to call somewhere else. Apparently these people don't want the business.

We were told it was under warranty, all we had to pay was labor charges. Over $600 was paid that day but I was advised the problem was still not completely fixed and there would be more issues in the future (with some sort of leak). Months later, my husband and I were told the parts were not covered under warranty and we were to pay over $400 immediately. The customer service was terrible, and communication was a disaster throughout the whole process. It was not taken into consideration that we were charged for every single visit they made to our home (even though nothing was fixed until the final time) and it was also not taken into consideration that we had to pay for oil to heat our house in the winter!
