I have had issues with my HVAC system in my house for several years. I have had several companies come out and review. The problem(s) were either not fixed, the wrong part was replaced, or they just couldn't figure it out. Breon's team came over and diagnosed the problem quickly and replaced a disconnect that was making poor contact creating intermittent problems. In summary, I had capacitors replaced, the control board replaced, the system charged, thermostats replaced, all totaling thousands of dollars. Breon's came in and replaced the disconnect for $100 and I haven't had a problem since. They explained to me in layman's terms what was causing the intermittent problems and the steps it would take to remedy the issues. It is very frustrating the lack of knowledge out there, and yet, the other companies have no problem charging high prices. I recommend Breon's team and will not be calling anyone else in the future. Jared was awesome. ( he was the installer) It's the owner I have a problem with. No return phone calls, and when I did talk to him he acted like it was the first time he heard about us needing an AC unit. EVEN THO JARED CALLED HIM AT MY HOUSE THE DAY BEFORE! they were suppose to come on a Thursday. No show, no call. My husband I took off work to specifically be here. Finally at 4:15 , HE CALLED. SWEET JESUS HE ACTUALLY CALLED. Then lied. Said he would be at our house Friday at 10 am and they did not show up until 2:15. No call, no notice. Again another day we took off to be sure we were here. I should be billing his ass for our time missed with work. You can't run a business and treat people like that! I totally agree with what Teri K. said in her review. Breons did an excellent job installing our mini split unit this winter break. For four days, the workers worked indoors and outdoors in the record low temperatures, and they were always very polite. The four indoor evaporators and one outdoor unit have worked perfectly so far. I have used Breon's for several years now.....there is nobody better in the Centre county region. They are good at what they do, but most importantly is their service. Communication is excellent and they have always been quick to respond to bail me out on a breakdown. Price is better than what you will find anywhere else. Not an easy task due to the length and number of lines, but he knew where to look because of his past experience and was able to fix and recharge at a very reasonable cost. Had an ac condenser die on my upstairs unit. Tech came out and quickly identified the issue, ran the unit for warranty, found it was still under one, replaced the part and only cost me labor. That kind of integrity I can't pay enough for. Could have easily let me ask the questions or not even addressed the warranty. Up front and honest work. read more
