Fantastic and friendly customer service…read more I have been searching high and low for an obscure bulb. Having spoken to and visited numerous companies plus googling my fingers off, I was beyond frustrated at the lack of assistance/results I was receiving. Yesterday, I reached out to Debbie at Burr Ridge Lighting. Although they did not have the item I need in stock, she spent a considerable amount of time searching for it (with much better results than me since she knows light bulb lingo and I do not). She found the item and I ordered it from Amazon today for quick Prime delivery. Their store is beautiful and the staff was so nice, I cannot wait for my next opportunity to actually do business with them. It's rare to find customer service at the level that was provided to me by Burr Ridge Lighting. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend them.

3.9 out of 5, isn't how it felt when I visited the LaGrange store today…read more I was driving back home after leaving VA Hines Hospital visit. I was wearing all black with camouflage military slacks. That must of been where they started their stereo-typing, as I didn't look like I had money to spend from the LaGrange store. I walked the entire lighted footprint as I strolled past the sales desk twice. I took one more look in the area of the showroom with price tags averaging anywhere from $399 to $700 plus. My third approach near the sales desk, made me stop in my tracks with 3 sales people, one on the phone. I asked out loud to them all and asked them if they were on "commission". One lady wearing eyeglasses kinda under her breath stated "Yes". Then I stated that I was in their area of business for at least 15 minutes and NO ONE approached me or openly said Hello. As I continued past them, I said to them that I have $$$$ to spend but wasn't going to patronage them as didn't show any emotion to assisting me. I consider this a very poor approach to sales.

Or even a garage sale lamp find that needs to be rewired? Then A Shade Better is the store for you. In business for over 20 years, A Shade Better is your one stop shop for lamps. Case in point- I had an antique floor lamp that was in desperate need of rewiring (it was like living in a haunted house the way the thing flickered on and off) as well as a new shade since it had fallen over so many times. I took it to A Shade Better and within a week, I had my favorite lamp back home with not a flicker in sight. They manufacture all their own lampshades but can also use your own fabric to create a lamp that perfectly accessorizes a room. Their designers know lamps and understand the scale balance between base and shade and are always willing to offer advice and suggestions. Lamps are the charm that add a warm glow to any room. And with the perfect shade- your lamps can look even better. Mine do.

We immediately went over and liked the Savoy chandelier. We asked about the return policy and delivery time. They had us return the next day to pick it up - it was boxed in original packaging and No waiting time in the pick up either.
