If I could give Riff Moving Storage (their name a month ago) zero stars, I would. Our experience…read morewith this company has been an absolute nightmare. We hired them for our Burnaby to Vancouver move and, despite being overcharged (which we were initially willing to overlook), they caused damage to our floors by rotating a HEAVY dresser without lifting it, causing a radius scratch on the floor--even after we specifically warned them to be extremely careful. I reached out to discuss the damage, and their communication was abysmal. They were flaky, rude, and impossible to get a hold of. One of their employees even screamed at me over the phone and called me "crazy" just for asking why he repeatedly failed to show up for planned appointments to "fix" the floors. Every excuse under the sun was used. After two weeks of runaround, I finally got a hold of the owner, Magdi, who promised to reimburse us. I actually thought things would get resolved, but what a joke. It's been three weeks, and now they're blatantly screening our calls and ignoring us entirely. They've over promised, under-delivered, and shown nothing but complete disrespect for us as customers. This company is an absolute disgrace. Unprofessional, unreliable, and completely dishonest. They take your money, make empty promises, and treat you horribly the moment the transaction is done. If you care at all about your home, your time, or your sanity, do yourself a favor and stay far away from these guys. This is the most untrustworthy and incompetent company I have ever dealt with.

The icing on the cake was an offer to pick up and donate to charity our wing back recliners (no room in the living room) and two chairs from the dining area (again no room for them). I don't try to set up complicated moves, but somehow that's the kind I seem to specialise in; there were so many ways this move could have been an enormous pain, but it wasn't at all--because Warren and his crew handled it efficiently, carefully, promptly, and professionally, just like before. They are positively craftsmanlike in every aspect of their work. Clear and honest communication, clear and reasonable pricing, zero damage. There's just not even the smallest reason to complain here. Called Ferguson initially mostly because the reviews seemed decent. Our initial inquiry was responded to promptly and an estimator visited our house a few days later to give us a quote. It was the visit from the estimator that clinched it for us. Juville was so professional and thorough. Asked about things we hadn't even thought of. Made some excellent suggestions. My initial reaction to the quoted price was that it was higher than expected, but considering what the sketchy / overly complicated options were coming in at, it wasn't actually that much more. And Juville clearly knew what she was doing, which was extremely reassuring. We really appreciated that she came to our house, prepared a detailed written estimate on the spot, and left us to think about it, without any pressure. We called her back, booked the move and paid our deposit. On moving day we had the worst possible rain (and that's saying something in Vancouver). The movers were organized and professional, and the rain didn't slow them down at all. When the truck was weighed it was very close to what Juville had estimated on our written quote. Our goods arrived safely at the other end. No damage, nothing missing. For the quoted price, no surprises. I would definitely recommend Ferguson and would use them again.
