Don't come here, these fools are clearly not able to handle even removing a simple engine filter, how can you trust them to change oil. I came here after my wife had a couple bad experiences. I can say my experience was just fine, and they did offer cold water as it was hot, which was appreciated! However if you're not familiar with oil changes or basic car maintenance, you might get upsold unnecessarily. Also, beware the " we are out of the cheaper oil gimmick. I find it hard to believe an oil change place could be out of regular conventional oil in the middle of the day, which is an experience I have heard others have as well. $65 for a conventional oil change is what I paid, which is definitely on the high side, considering the cost of the oil and filter is probably about $30. Also, they will deny any coupons you have, so don't try and look them up while you are waiting, or give your email online to request a coupon on the website (they will send it 2 hours later, after it's lost it's use).

I messed up an electrical connection on one of my cars by accident doing some service on it. I could not fix it. My wife needed that car for work within a few days and my time was limited during that time to get it somewhere to get fixed. I called CLTmobile and got an appt booked right away. Mechanic came on time; he was super nice and very knowledgeable. He did a terrific job at a very affordable price! I will definitely be using them for all my automotive needs going forward that I can't fix myself. I love seeing the younger generation building a great and much needed business like this in Charlotte.

It was never driven with the tires completely flat. They quoted me $1200 for this repair and it would not be done until Monday, today is Saturday. They wanted me to commit to purchasing new tires on the premise that the inner walls of the tire may be "crumbled". The only time the car was driven with tires completely flat was by their technician. The tires are fairly new and have 7mm of tread left. I told them that all I wanted was the stems replaced but they wouldn't do it unless I committed to their $1200 quote. The woman had the audacity to give me sass when I told her I could get it done cheaper somewhere else. This place is close to me so I walked there carrying an air compressor, filled up my tires and left. They hold air long enough for me to get home. Took the wheels to a Pep Boys on North Tryon and they did it for FREE the same day. Quoted $1200 at Meineke and Pep Boys did it for FREE. All that was needed were 2 $10 TPMS valve repair kits. This is a front office/management level issue, a guy in the shop offered to help me fill up my tires so the mechanics seem like decent people.

I was quoted 158 for this job the day prior over the phone and I confirmed at the start of the appointment if that would be the price. My brakes were in poor shape, missing a brake pad on one side and the mechanics spent an extra 15-20 mins working on my cylinder. At the end of the job, Chris informed me that they got air on the line and would have to bleed the brakes. (I've always had my brakes bled at the end of any brake job so this is standard for me to have done whenever I get my breaks done. They told me this would be an extra 120 dollars at the end of the job. My father is a mechanic and said that price was a little high just to bleed the brakes and was very familiar with the procedure. He told me "go call your dad and ask him to send you more money." When I asked if they could take 20 bucks off and knock the price down to 100 from 120 he asked me to tell him how old I was which I thought was rude and uncalled for. I told him I was 30 and he proceeded to say "wow you look 18" and said "one day you're going to have to learn that everything in life isn't free sweetheart." When I went to his office to pay he also said I'm going to have to buy him lunch because they spent extra time working on my car than they planned. Disgusting behavior. I would not recommend this shop to any woman (or really anyone) unless you want to be taken advantage of and upsold. They ended up bleeding one brake so my car would be somewhat drivable. My interior dashboard was also scratched up when I got my car back from them.

Gino's has great reviews so I stopped by to let them look at my 1999 F150 since I am hearing rattling noises. Was disappointed that he could not schedule me today, yet, Gino's brother Tony, came out to look and listen to see what the issues were after I scheduled an appointment for next week. Tony was fantastic and gave me great advice on what to do (and NOT do) while driving until I could drop off the vehicle next week. I look forward to going back next week to get it serviced. Based on their sincerity and kindness and willing to look under the hood before I left, I was very impressed. I have lived in Char/Meck for 38 years. Have always seen this little place on Monroe Rd.
