There is a wait because the food is amazing, and everyone knows it, we are happy to wait our turn to get in to eat multiple times a week because it's like a home away from home, only with better food. Another huge plus here besides the amazing food and friendly staff is the turn around time on food. Idk what kind of magic they do in the kitchen but the food is always ready in the blink of an eye. Ask for a side of the chipotle ranch, trust me, it will change your life. All year round this is my go to place to eat, the soups are better than I could ever make, the stuffed hashbrowns are amazing, their Bloody Marys are perfect! So good, you may have to wait cuz everyone knows how good it is, but I promise it's worth it! Put in your name, go browse around town, enjoy the experience!

The quality is there, and worth the price. We ordered the BLT, which came piled with bacon, and the brisket sandwich. Both were delicious. The house chips and dip are great and they sell the dip from the case, too. Food came out quickly and hot. Not much of an ambience, you're sitting in a grocery store basically. There is a small bar area if you're into that.

While it's further out from the downtown, it's worth the drive (and you need to get groceries at Meijer anyway right?) You order at the counter and can sit inside (very cold AC) or on the outdoor patio and they use a buzzer system for you to come up and get your food. You self bus your dishes at the end. The fish portions are generous (honestly better value than the other fish fry place in town) and the coleslaw and fries are great. You can get the fish grilled as well which you just have to ask for. The kids meals have a rib meal option which is amazing so we sampled our kids' ribs and loved them. Very casual, you can grocery shop for jerky and cheese and more while waiting - and they have high chairs and clean restrooms.

The owner is a friendly Scottish lady who gave us great recommendations and even had us in tears laughing when one in our party couldn't take the clue they had ran out of tater tot's for the day. We will for sure be back when visiting the area for her humor and the amazing food.

Think of it like this: when you give a kid a car, he doesn't know what makes it good, he's just happy to have a car. It's the same with the food here, people are just happy to get what they ordered. But ask a mechanic about a car and they can talk out the wazoo about what makes it good or bad. So when someone like me shows up and I know what an omelette is, I'm shocked that they could even make it as bad as they did. I mean lord have mercy they had steamed mushrooms in it. Not even sautéed. The onions? Steamed too. The potatoes? They were SLICES. SLICES. the only thing at the breakfast table that should be in SLICES is the toast. That hash browns were pathetic too. What kind of place is this?
