And because why the heck not, I also got a toffee pecan shortbread cookie. Why eat just one cookie when you can eat two? While I was there, I got probably the best iced tea I've had in a long time: the holy basil tulsi, which was wonderfully green-tasting and mellow. They have a good selection of all kinds of teas, from rooibos to herbal to black to white to oolong to green and more. But if you're looking for something different, I highly recommend the holy basil tulsi! I'm kind of kicking myself for not buying some of that tea while I was there, because I would love to enjoy it at home. They do sell their teas, so if you're smarter than I am, you will get some tea to take home. One of the great things about HumaniTea is that all of their teas are humanely sourced. They are very invested in combating slavery and human trafficking. So you can feel good that the tea leaves you're enjoying were responsibly sourced. That's a feather in your cap (and in your cup). Another neat thing about HumaniTea is that they offer local kombucha by the growler! I don't think I've ever heard of kombucha on tap, so that's pretty unique.

I called and asked if Spindrift would stay open for another 10 minutes and take a look at my rear hub so I could ride the next 2 days ( Which I worked hard to raise $$$ for). The person on the phone checked with the two mechanics /owners or whomever and both said "NO". so much for customer service-- on a TUESDAY Evening!! So I called Trailhead Bike Shop--- and they waited around for me and fixed my bike so I could continue to ride for those that have died protecting us. Shame on you Spindrift.....
