Nice burger joint! I ordered a hamburger with cajun fries and the marshmallow milkshake! The food came out hot, fast, and fresh. The fries were crispy and seasoned well. The burger didn't wow me, but I can forgive all sins with the right sauce! The dip bar was great and it kicked everything up a notch! The shake seemed to have an aftertaste, but everyone else was super pleased with it. Lots of seating is available and they can accommodate a large group. Love the atmosphere! I can't wait to go back!

Good burger and fries! Not a huge burger person but when I do indulge I do not want it overly greasy and Good Stuff hit the spot. I love an honest employee. Some of the reviews were negative for the chicken sandwiches, and I inquired between chicken or burger with the employee and he definitely said burgers are our thing! Noted ! I ordered exactly what he told me and loved it. Prez burger: 5/5 the onion marmalade was great. Not overly blue cheesy which I enjoyed. Bun was literally like butter. Cajun fries: well seasoned and crispy 5/5. My friend had the rosemary fries which were good but Cajun was better. Ordered the snack size which was more than enough for one. Love the dip bar with the assortment of dips! Little pricey but this is the world we live in Not too crowded for an evening bite.

My class visited this place for our D.C. field trip, and the food was absolutely amazing!! The fries were fresh, and our orders (burgers, salads, etc.) were of high quality. The service was great, for we had a nice lady that explained our options and efficient cooks who had our entire class's food ready right after we ordered them; the entire staff is considerate and hard working. It was a bit loud, but that was mainly on us, haha! We, as a class, 100% recommend.

A friend recommended this place. The burgers were spot on but the buns were lacking substance. The service is great. They listen and ensure your food is right. The shakes are fun flavors and creamy. The place is loud with music but clean and inviting.

Glad another location of the homegrown local chain opened up in Crystal City (not another Shack Shack or Five Guys!) with good vegetarian options. I got the Snack Fry and Drink combo deal for $6.50. I wish the Cheeseburger for the $17 lunch special (comes with fries, and drink) could be substituted with the Mushroom burger. I paid $12 Mushroom burger + $6.50 combo deal. The Steak fries were pipping hot and delicious, the highlight of my meal! I love the dipping sauce station, a galore of a dozen condiments to choose from! The Chipotle sauce was my go-to. The 'Shroom Burger is pretty tasty with a fried mushroom burger stuffed with Muenster and Cheddar Cheese and topped with lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle. The flavors blended well together and surprisingly filling. It's very similar to the Mushroom Burger at Shake Shack, I honestly can't tell the difference. The Strawberry Lemonade and Passionfruit juice were refreshing and on the sweeter side. My order was ready in 5 minutes and I relished a warm, satisfying meal under $20. Will visit another location when I'm in the area (maybe at the airport or visit Cairo or Clearwater Beach sometime)!

Stopped in here while visiting my daughter in DC and was amazed at the fantastic burger and fries we received. Great portions, all the options I wanted and freshly cooked fries. Loved the variety drinks they had and the various dipping sauces. Very clean, friendly staff and it didn't take long to get our food. Fun vibe and look forward to going back. The ice cream treats were good too. Had to go back the next day for that!

Best burgers ever! I will definitely come back if I want burgers. My fries weren't crispy but had a good flavor. Maybe they got wet during delivery.

I come here often for lunch when in the office. Best milkshakes, chicken tenders and fries in Crystal City. But today turned me off completely. Yes, that's mold. I don't even want to think about what the inside of there.

I really enjoyed the experience here. Good burger times here in Crystal City. Invited to try this burger joint out and glad I did. The local team took my order and got it back out to me in minutes. I ordered the double cheeseburger. The patties at this place are huge, and they came out a nice medium. The burger comes with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onions. I also got a snack size (small) side of fries and cherry blossom shake. The shake was delicious, the fires were hot and fresh, and the burger didn't last too long either. The place was clean. If shakes aren't your thing then you can serve yourself at the soft drink fountain. I came on a Saturday afternoon, it wasn't crowded, but I bet the Crystal City folks find their way here during the lunch and early dinner sessions during the week. Parking is available on the street and at a nearby lot (parking free on weekends).

It only took a quick 10 minutes to receive our entire order, which was 3 burgers, a crispy fried chicken sandwich, loaded fries, and 2 milkshakes! I was very happy with how efficient the service was and the most important part, how delicious every bite was! The smashburgers are made with 100% halal beef and they come out HOT with perfectly crispy edges on the patties and a juicy center. We ordered 3 burgers and each of them stood out in their own way. You can get a single, double, or triple patty burger and add whatever toppings to it too. The jalapeño burger was the star of the show, it had a such a nice and spicy kick to it. I wasn't expecting much but this burger had HEAT! Another favorite was the Juicy Lucy. It was packed with grilled onions and the patty was stuffed with cheddar cheese. A super messy and cheesy option that was definitely worth every bite! I liked that Jon's Joint offered other options too such as loaded fries and fried chicken sandwiches. What I found unique is that for the loaded fries, you can get it with falafel and make it spicy! This time, they had run out of the falafel so I am excited to try it next time. If you're in Arlington and craving a casual burger spot, you need to go to Jon's Joint. You'll get quick service and a delicious meal!

You can tell the owner is really into Superheroes. I ordered the grilled chicken. The good thing is that it is cooked to order. Loved that. Downside, no seasoning, AT ALL. This would be fine, I understand dietary considerations with sodium. What had me perplexed was they had NO PEPPER in the entire restaurant. I've NEVER been at a restaurant that didn't have any pepper. Plenty of salt, seasoned salt and even more salt. No pepper. Burgers seem to be popular. Wasn't very crowded, but seemed popular by locals. It was a "meh" for me. I do however really like that the food is cooked to order.

I was surprised by how empty it was for a holiday evening, actually just as strange by how vacant and empty the whole area was. This used to be a very busy area. I started with a White Russian milkshake and it was quite good. Again, that happy hour pricing really made it worth it. My meal was the chicken and biscuits. Large biscuits, fresh, with a little honey and hot drizzle. The hash browns were a tad dry and didn't quite fit the meal I thought, but the chicken biscuits were good. Enjoyed those. BUT one point that was quite annoying: THE GRAVY COST EXTRA! The server tried to upsell me with the sausage gravy (+$3) but when I asked if that cost extra he demurred and said it was just something they asked. He wouldn't actually confirm that. Not cool. I don't like being upsold like it's McDonalds. Eating off my friend's plate I also liked the french fries that came with his steak and cheese sandwich. We also had the cornbread appetizer. Again, if not for that happy hour pricing.. Cornbread is uber cheap so getting four fingers of cornbread felt.. well.. not quite a value match. Service was a little hit or miss. We had a lot of people helping us it seemed, kind of a divided table. Everything is there but I'm just not used to the inflation pricing. Milkshake, cornbread, and the chicken and biscuits, with 20% tip, came out to over $40. This kind of food, at this level of service, .. I feel like I was overcharged or not given the happy hour pricing on something. This just didn't feel like $40 for one person. And they want to do everything on the machine and you don't actually get a paper receipt or a bill unless you ask for one. Which you should. I guess bottom line: Ted's is expensive for it's class and offerings, so it makes a good date spot, but for regular eating out I think there are places better priced.

I always seek out seafood when eating out. The Salt Line did not disappoint…read more It was restaurant week, which I am not a fan. So, I ordered the regular Arctic char from the regular menu and my friend ordered the special menu for restaurant week. His gazpacho was the best I ever tasted! I believe it even had chunks of shrimp in it with scallions on top that added a nice crunch. Sadly, it's not on the regular menu. He too got the Arctic Char for his entree. The Arctic Char was delicious and the grains underneath with vegetables was yummy. There were small dollops of a wonderful mayonnaise type sauce that was perfect! I would definitely order that again. (The Arctic chart that came with the restaurant week menu was clearly smaller than my regular menu item. This is why I don't care for restaurant week. This is not a slight against the restaurant, all restaurants do this.) I asked for bread and they brought out some yummy Parker rolls baked in a little skillet with old bay butter. They were piping hot and just perfectly fluffy on the inside. They charge six dollars for it. This is a minor issue-- I probably wouldn't charge more than five dollars. Most restaurants don't offer bread at all anymore and if they do--they charge. They really should mention that they charge for the bread when customers asked for it. My friend chose strawberry ice cream for his dessert included in the restaurant week menu. It was just okay, but what can you expect? It was just ice cream. I ordered a wonderful special bourbon old-fashioned--it was delicious. He got a beer which was quite pricey at $13 for a beer. That seems a bit high. We had a wonderful waitress. Her name is Chante. She was delightful and added to our great experience. We sat outside under the cover because it was such a beautiful night we wanted to eat outside. The bar was really hopping and loud. The restaurant decor is very cute with a French bistro style. This restaurant is close to the Ballston Mall. If you can't find street parking, which is usually tight, just go into the mall garage. I will definitely be going back.

I knew it was a good option for watching the game, but I didn't realize everybody else knew too . Since my last visit years ago, they have switched to QR code orders -- unless you are sitting at the bar I'm guessing. As I said, the place was absolutely full, but there was never a long wait time between ordering and receiving food and drinks. They had a fun 20 wing platter for $25.99 with some unique flavors representing different countries... USA (Buffalo Garlic), Spain (pollo asado), South Korea (SPICY), and Mexico (Creamy Cilantro)... I think I got those right, but wow what a feast! Yeah, I didn't take a pic, I'm sorry lol. The cheapest cocktails were $6, but others ranged from $8-12, so not bad at all.
