Wow, I haven't been racially profiled in a minute. Shame on the owner or employee who decided to use me as an example of what a shoplifter acts like to her employees. She clearly gestured in my direction and said something along the lines of "like her" while I was the only shopper left in the store. It was also that she deliberately waited until the few other (need I say fully Caucasian) customers left to speak as if I wasn't RIGHT THERE that made me go, hmm, ok then. I was just casually browsing small gifts for my daughter and about to pick out a gorgeous wind chime afterwards. The fact that I had to physically turn around, look them in the eye and say hello *not cool* welp... I get shoplifting is tough on small businesses, but no excuse. Needless to say I spoke up for myself, purchased what items I had in hand and GTFO. 2 stars for selection only. 1/8/25 I did promptly reply to the business owner who messaged me under her private account, photo posted. read more

I was in Cape May and saw some cool items in the window so I had to stop in and I'm glad I did. I found some really cool lotions and my friend picked up incense. I visit Cape May about 1 a year, more if I am lucky. We were down there during Ian - YUCK! But Saturday was ok. Some drizzle, the real heavy rain didn't start until Sunday, so we had time to browse the shops as we usually do. I loved this little gem! First - it smells so wonderfully inviting right away - in fact - I said that out loud as we walked in and a few folks chuckled. They carry a great assortment of all kinds of things to please just about anyone! I've purchased gifts and incense there in the past, but this time I was drawn to the books in the front left window. I purchased two - one on Ghost Tales and another on Mermaids. I was so tempted to buy a few others things, but I think it makes the trip more special if you look forward to going back and finding just that right treasure for that day. This is a shop you can visit over and over and never see everything or find something new each time! read more

Nice place with great variety and selection of aromatics and self care and spiritual items. I enjoyed browsing through and seeing the diverse colors and messages of hope and faith throughout. I am a incense and candle person and bought a few of these. I am also enjoying the peace that the palo santo sage spray brings to my place. Just the perfect complement to my burning some incense. It's location is also a plus when in Cape May, you can't miss the corner position from the shopping aisle. You won't be disappointed if you pay a visit. read more

Stumbled upon the shop, only because it was located behind the main shopping drag in Cape May and it faces the parking areas. Good thing I found it! I loved it, especially all the dangly decorative things from colorful stained glass hanging lamps, Moravian stars, tin foil garlands, wind chimes, as well as an assortment of aromatic candles and incense. Prices were a little bit on the higher end, but that's OK. This isn't Walmart. Staff were very helpful. read more

It's a quaint store with plenty of soaps to offer. They have others too like incense and candles. I just wish they sell crystals. read more

Many shops in this area are closed due to the off season and pandemic, but it was a delight to find this open. There is wealth of scented items, along with Turkish lamps and quirky little books. I found a lot of incense I had not seen before, even some variations of the classic nag champa. read more

When we travel to Cape May, we always take our cat, and we always visit Good Scents to pick him up a little treat. Hands down this is the best catnip around! Our cat loves it! We just open up a bag of it and he will saunter in the room from wherever he is, while sniffing the air. They sell it by the scoop and provide little paper bags for you to put it in. They also have lots of other items such as jewelry, music, accessories, home goods, candles, incense, etc. and everything is beautifully displayed. Music they play is very calming and gives the shopper a lovely shopping experience. I love that they also advertise available cats for adoption in their window too. Anyone who supports animal rescue gets my support. read more

I really enjoyed this store!! My mom and I swung by on a Saturday in April. They have a great selection of home goods, scarfs/accessories, jewelry, and music. They also have yummy smelling candles and incense. I bought a tall container with blue chevrons for my kitchen. My mom and I loved the scarves but resisted purchasing one. Run to this wonderful store. It is deliciously dangerous to enter. I went in looking for a small gift for someone and came out with two shiopping bags full. Their scarves are so light and airy in great colors. Their soaps and lotions are superb and different. They have Macone Clay plaques and charming fan pulls that can be used as decorations in your car! The people there are very accomodating and as charming as their goods. read more
