She was a pleasure to work with and was super patient with us after the countless homes that we did not like or were not in our budget. Jennifer stuck with us and kept a positive attitude. As she got to know us more and more, she tailored her searches and recommendations to what she felt we would truly want in a home. If she found something she truly didn't like in a place, she would let us know and on to the next place we'd go. She really watched out for our best interest. When we finally found a condo and started escrow, Jennifer gave us a calendar with dates she promised to hit. She told us if all stayed on schedule (which she promised it would), we'd have the keys by the end of the month. Honestly we did not believe we'd get through escrow in under 30 days but Jennifer made it happen. She sticks to her word and makes things happen. The home that we found had already been renovated but still needed some work. Like I mentioned before, Jennifer comes with the whole package and connections. With a great eye for design she made some recommendations and brought in her handy man, Larry, to do some work. Awesome guy who knows what he's doing. He did some demo work and finish work on the kitchen and did various other touch ups around the condo. Grade A work. Over all, the whole experience of buying a home was amazing with Jennifer. Thank you so much Jennifer. This post does not explain everything that Jennifer did for us but if you're looking to buy a home then you're in good hands here.

If you expect a real estate agent to communicate and be on top of it, I would recommend someone…read moreelse, probably anyone else, besides Mr. Amaya. He could be a great person but he is a terrible real estate agent. His attitude about his clients seems to revolve around everything being on HIS time, not the clients' time. For example, it was extremely difficult to get a hold of him most of the time and this was frustrating when we needed to know information or get the process moving along. Calling the office was a hassle as well as the phone was answered rarely, if ever. You would think that communication would be key in a business relationship involving buying or selling a home. To be honest, we would not have been able to sell our home without the assistance of the out of state realtor who was helping us purchase our new home. She really deserves his commission for her effort in getting things done for us. He would ignore phone calls when we had questions and then we would see him on social media golfing, at football games, and out with friends. Of course personal lives are not an issue but when it starts to interfere with work, that is a major issue. We never felt like we were a priority to him. When we addressed our concerns, he would simply try to smooth talk his way out of the issue or deflect the blame on to someone else. I can understand why he has only sold 25 homes in the past four years. Throughout the whole process we felt like we were in limbo and going to lose our next home (we were in contingency). We tried to give him the benefit of the doubt in several situations. For example, when he was late to our open house, when he promised to put a "For Sale" sign in the yard and never did (but we saw that he had posted a sign in another client's yard shortly after ours) and when he took our house off the market and did not even put "Pending" until the day before closing. We would ask about this and he just said it was "the way he did things". The sellers, and even the real estate agent, for our out of state home were extremely concerned with his processes and also felt the stress of feeling like the sale of our home was going to fall through. Besides sending inappropriate texts to the other realtor out of state and quickly trying to play off being a professional, we just had constant issues with him throughout the whole sale process of our home. We plan to address our concerns and show the evidence to a real estate board because if we can save someone else the headache of working with someone so complacent and nonchalant, that would be the most beneficial in the long run. This review will also be posted in several other places as we expect him to delete this. As said before, he could be a great person, but real estate is not the right profession for him.

This agent scraped my private contact information from public records called me on the phone. Shortly after I said I was not interested, I get an unsolicited cold email containing completely false information about a family member's estate. He claimed a "probate petition" had been filed on a family home and tried to use this false legal scare-tactic to solicit a listing. The home he referenced is safely secured in a private, irrevocable trust and is legally exempt from probate. The individual is falsely claiming that we have a past relationship and have spoken previously. This is entirely untrue; we have no history. Fabricating legal panic and sending deceptive probate solicitations to families is an incredibly predatory way to fish for real estate listings and extremely rude when we are grieving. This is very unsettling. If you receive an email or call from this agent regarding probate, double-check your court records independently and do not trust his claims.
