Cozy, welcoming yoga studio in Shrewsbury. I'm coming to Blue Moon from practicing yoga regularly…read moreat a gym, and I love the variety of different classes they offer to fit wherever you are in your evolution. The class schedule at Blue Moon is bigger, with more offerings than other studios, both in terms of the number and the types of classes they offer. New students be aware - they offer a special of 4 classes for $40, quite a deal for the area! Other class packages are also relatively reasonably priced, and the owner and staff are extremely friendly and eager to work with whatever your special request is. The studio itself is a bit on the smaller side, with curtained windows on two sides. So, no mirror, if you're looking for that. But if you'd rather avoid a mirror while practicing, or find that a mirror interferes with balance in some poses - this is perfect! Both times I've been so far the classes have been at max or close to max capacity - I wonder if this means they may outgrow this space? Hmmm.

This was my first experience doing a float or being in a salt room and I have been raving about it…read moreall day!! The facility itself is absolutely gorgeous. I thought the float room and the shower in it were also beautiful. Being that it was my first time it took me about 20 minutes to get the hang of floating and settle in and at some point I fell asleep!! I felt horrible as it took me a bit to wake up with the employee telling me my session was over but she was really nice about it! The salt cave was also stunning and comfortable. I really do think it helped me be less congested. My only complaint is that the body wash in the shower was out so I used shampoo to get the salt off and there was no opportunity to dry my hair. I also am having a bit of trouble with salt in my ears but they offered ear plugs so that's just a beginners error. I am a highly anxious person and I can honestly say I walked out of this place feeling like I could take on the world. I've never been so at peace and cannot wait to come back!!

Pricey, definitely. I didn't feel any benefits from both services but my husband felt as if he did. I was hoping to bring my daughter, asthmatic Back here to the kids salt room but I had a similar interaction as another reviewer with the owner. She answered the phone when I booked and then also showed me the barcode and just pointed and got annoyed with me that I didn't understand what she meant as she just pointed. All interactions with her made me feel bad about myself honestly. It was very pretty inside and clean and a nice place but for the price and the service I wouldn't go again.

No one answered, so I left a voicemail with my appointment details and phone number. I never received a call back. This morning, I drove half an hour to the location and waited in the lobby behind a locked door for 40 minutes -- during which I repeatedly called, texted, and even chatted with ClassPass to figure out what was going on. I lightly knocked on the door as well. Finally, at 11:40 AM, someone exited to walk out another client. I explained that I had been waiting for my 11 AM appointment and was very frustrated. She informed me that all the massage therapists were busy and she couldn't help me. Confused, I double-checked my ClassPass app and confirmed that I had the correct date and time. I ended up leaving, frustrated and definitely not relaxed, for another half-hour drive home. Around the same time I left, at 11:40 AM, I received a text saying they had double-booked me and had sent an email through ClassPass -- an email I never received. Again, I had called midday Friday to confirm and left my number, but no one followed up. They did not cancel my appointment on the app. Finally, around 4 PM, I received another text saying that ClassPass had reimbursed my points and that there was nothing more they would do. No apology, no accountability -- just a total waste of my time and energy. This business is completely unprofessional. Please do not support behavior like this.
