While it's frontage may not be the most attractive you've ever seen, Good Harvest offers Chinese takeaway with a super-quick turnaround time and friendly, courteous smile.
Unlike me, you won't be going in there to watch a bit of telly by yourself as you wait for a black bean something or other, so you'll want to know about the food.
It is, of course, essentially common denominator stuff, but that's no criticism - everyone will both recognise and enjoy. If risk-averse, the flavours are good, even elegant, and better yet, portions are huge. It all means you won't feel quite so backwards in coming forwards about sharing - for me, anyway, a low point in Chinese cuisine..... Where was it written that everyone has to try a bit of each other's order? Nobody dips their naan in a friend's jalfrezi, why the difference here? Siiigh.
All in all, then, it's no harvest festival at this small site near th junction with Chester Road. But it is recommended. read more
