Both were accomplished in a timely manner. After a month plus delay in receiving a part, not the fault of the dealer, all of my warranty issues have been resolved. Valentine kept me apprised of the progress in getting the part on a regular basis. That attention to detail was greatly appreciated. Kudos to Valentine - he is an asset to his employer. PS - I'm knocking off one star from the overall 5 star rating because the techs didn't adequately clean up after themselves. Also my trash container lid was broken during my first visit. I applied for a loan and was denied, but the salesman Joe told me he got 2 loans approved for the amount of the over priced rv. I declined because the interest rate was too high. 4 months later I was checking my credit status and realized there was 2 credit cards opened in my name in January conveniently for the amount of the 2 loans Joe said I was approved for. I can't help but wonder how many other people they have done this to. I would have never known if I didn't check my Credit Karma account. Not only should this business be shut down they should be areasted for fraud.

Only when we had questions did anyone accompany us. Fermin, our first salesperson seemed fairly new and got assistance from Anthony when he didn't know the answer to our question. We arranged to have a particular fifth wheel set up with electric the following week so we could see the many features the RV had. The following Monday we met t the appointed time and Anthony walked us through the rig and answered all of our questions. He wanted to sit down and deal with us then but we had brought friends to look it over and wanted to talk with them and eat some lunch so we arranged to come back a little later. We sat down, discussed trade in value on our RV, they got our credit report, the numbers were crunched and we arrived at an agreeable price and put down a deposit that afternoon. The following week we walked through our PDI with Pete, the service technician that headed up the work on our new RV. He walked through with us, explaining everything with enough detail even I understood most of it. He even had me video the presentation on the stereo/sound bar/TV stuff for future reference. They then moved both RVs side-by-side with a ramp between the doors so we could move lol our belongings from the old RV to the new RV. They set us up for overnight camping in their back lot with full hook ups too. I'm impressed by the Ron Hoover in Donna, TX. Give them a shot at your business.

She works her own hours and seems to be OK with upper Management. She says she will be there and she never follows through, if you get irritated, The other em[ployees in Parts JUST LAUIGH! Then tell me to drop my ATTITUDE. Wouldn,t have an attitudeif they could do the job. It seems that this Terry is the only person that can order parts. NOW I know your going to say no big deal. Faster to sell the unit to someone else…read more I was searching through many dealers to purchase a travel trailer, untill I found and fell in love with a unit at the Donna location. I was happy to give my $500 deposit to place the unit on hold, as we looked into the financing options. After a week, the salesman and I were about to close the deal and THE UNIT WAS SOLD TO SOMEONE ELSE. I went to obtain my deposit; while the manager kept defending his actions without any apology. To "make it right" I was offered another unit at a lower cost, saving thousands, but I would rather purchase another trailer at retail price than go through that terrible experience again. Because I was less upset and more DISGUSTED with the experience, this will be my first and last time I will try to do business with them.

- Extremely Disappointed, Avoid Optimum RV Harlingen…read more We purchased a 2020 FR3 from Optimum RV in Harlingen, TX, and the experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. After signing, they kept our RV for over a month to fix a leak from the in-unit washer/dryer combo. Not only was nothing repaired, but they scratched the bathroom when removing the unit. We were promised someone would come to fix it again, as well as check the bedroom A/C and generator--that never happened. We explained multiple times that the RV is our parents' full-time home, and it was not feasible to bring it back in for service. They planned their move-out around Juan's (our salesman) timeline, and we were patient, waiting a whole month for pickup. What we got was a rig still full of issues. To make matters worse, we were sold a warranty that doesn't even work in the Valley. No mobile techs in the area would honor it, and there was zero support from Optimum. We returned the warranty and signed all the paperwork with Dan (finance manager) in early March, and a month later, still no resolution or update. Every time we call, we're told Dan is unavailable. We spoke with Juan again today--still no answers. Bottom line: Do NOT trust these people. Save yourself the headache and shop somewhere else, outside the Valley. This dealership is all talk, zero follow-through.
