We would not recommend RV Station for their consignment sales services and here is why. We put our 5th wheel up for consignment for a fair price which allowed RV Station to make a decent profit if they sold it. When we were told someone was interested in it, RV Station asked for the money to help replace the rusty jacks (They were aware of the rusty jacks upon initial inspection and agreed they would take care of it). We were able to find replacement jacks for them online at a much lower price then they initially quoted us. Anytime they called and had questions we were available to answer their questions. The last we were told from RV Station was the prospective buyer was working on financing. When we had not heard anything for quite some time, we decided to take our 5th Wheel back at the end of our consignment agreement which was July 16th. On July 15th, we called to let the RV Station know we would be there the following day to pick up our 5th Wheel. This is when we found out our 5th wheel had been sold! No one from RV Station called to notify us of the sale. When we arrived at RV Station and was given the check, we noticed the check was dated JUNE 16th. A WHOLE MONTH EARLIER!!! When we asked to speak with the manager, we were told he was with another customer. Maybe he was, maybe he wasn't. It appeared as soon as RV Station got their money, the contact ended with us. We understand businesses need to make money. Making money is one thing, greed is another! ERRORs were made, but all we got were excuses.
Our recommendation: Look around, there are plenty of other RV businesses. As a consumer, we expect a quality business to be honest and own up to mistakes. We do not feel that RV Station has those qualities. read more
