And when it comes to professional expertise and clinical knowledge, she is unrivaled. To say that Tammy's orthotics are for feet would be a huge understatement. They create a sense of total body alignment that starts with your feet, carries itself through your knees and hips, up into your back and spine, and out through your shoulders and neck. Wearing her equipment is a TOTAL CHANGE IN HEALTH from head to toe. I am an intense athlete, and I work on my feet all day. Thanks to Tammy I am able to do so not only pain free for once, but also with improved performance. I am faster, stronger, can lift more weight, and hurt less..... all thanks to her! I have sent many friends and family members to her over the years and they all say the same thing. Tammy is a one of a kind blessing as an individual, with a truly world-beating product!! My partner and I took our dog in for some much needed pool time to beat the heat. The shelter we…read moregot him from said he is a Shepherd/Husky mix so he gets very hot in the warmer months. He may have a bit of Staffordshire terrier in him but that is unconfirmed--he just has a big head. Our guy was running around having a good time. He went by a golden retriever to introduce himself and the golden lost its marbles on him and attacked him while our dog was cowering towards the wall trying to get away. The golden owner got it off and he came running back to us. It's worth noting that he didn't act any differently with this golden than he did with the black lab that was also there, but the black lab didn't attack him. We understand not all dogs are going to get along, and we have no ill will towards them or the dog. The issue is was how the "owner" of the place handled the situation. The golden left and we stayed for about 10 more minutes. When we decided to leave, the owner asked us what happened. We told her our side and she completely dismissed it. She said she has never had an issue with that golden before. I told her there are cameras in there and they should look back at the footage. She said "the cameras are not recording. I'm the owner and I know what goes on here". My question for the owner is why have cameras in the first place if they are not there to protect your business and your clients. She said we cannot have dogs reacting around other dogs. You mean acting like dogs? Our dog is very excitable and loves being around other dogs, and that is what the owner did not like. Our dog goes to a dog park almost daily because he loves playing with other dogs and has never had any issues with them. In fact, the shelter we got him from specifically had him in a kennel with another dog. Please if you do decide to go here and your dog has the slightest resemblance to a Pit-bull, Akita, German shepherd, Rottweiler or any other "dangerous breed" be careful because the owner will not have any sympathy for your dog. This was so disappointing because the staff from our prior visits were super friendly and welcoming, and I do believe they would have handled this situation with a lot more professionalism and kindness than their own boss would have. Regrettably, we do not intend to attend another session at your establishment. We fully acknowledge the necessity of strict policies to ensure the safety of the dogs, and we respect that. However, we found the manner in which the situation was managed to be unacceptable and unprofessional, which is the core issue. We would have been more than willing to return for a private session if we were treated with kindness and respect.

I met with Thomas in December and returned in January to be measured and fitted for a brace that's right for me. During the first consultation, Thomas was patient, listened to me about my medical history with the knee, answered all of my questions/concerns, and sent me home with additional information to consider before my appt in January. At the follow-on visit, Thomas made a final recommendation and carefully fitted me for the brace all while showing me how and when to use the brace once I take delivery. I highly recommend Thomas and Horizon for their professionalism, empathy, and experience in the prosthetics industry.

But then I had James, an ex Physical therapist who hated being a physical therapist, and clearly doesn't like fitting braces either. He was short and impatient w his answers. Did not explain things well, and made light of my concerns. Wow! His arrogance was annoying and unpleasant. Also made fun of the Ossur company , who made my brace. I had relayed the answer Ossur customer service gave me, and he laughed and gave me a different answer. And I don't know who to believe now. I do know I don't trust James. Thomas is a tech at the office, who is conscientious and knows his stuff. . . I recommend u ask for him.

I had a horrible experience here. I urge you to avoid this clinic, especially if you have chronic…read morepain or more complex injuries. The physical therapist I saw (Dr. Braden) was dismissive, rude, and unprofessional on many occasions. She took very little time in understanding my injuries, and tried to convince me I didn't have a condition I was diagnosed with. At every visit the therapist spends little time with you, usually several minutes asking repetitive questions. The rest of the time is spent on exercise machines with assistants and probably the most time with passive modalities such as heat/ice/stim, all things you can do at home and/or that have little scientific evidence of effectiveness. As the office is mostly an open space, there wasn't much privacy. I saw most other patients had similar experiences. I had problems with multiple joints and the physical therapist only examined one over six sessions. She never tested strength/balance/gait/flexibility or any of the other things physical therapists usually do. As a result the exercises were general and redundant, not at all appropriate given my situation. I have never left a bad review before, and wouldn't for just an unhelpful therapist. What really led me to write this was the questionable business practices and how the physical therapist acted. After a couple visits, she blamed me for not feeling better. I tried to explain to her that what she was doing wasn't working out, but instead of finding alternative ways, she would state certain exercises and modalities were 'supposed' to work. I left every appointment feeling worse than when I came in. A couple weeks in, she insisted that in order for therapy to be effective, I should be seeing her 3-4 times a week. She also wanted to 'progress' my exercises, but stated they would require an expensive yoga ball specifically bought from her office or else the exercises wouldn't work. She also declared that only the tens machine at her office, and not any you could use at home, were 'real'. I don't think I need to tell you lol but both these claims are untrue. At one point I changed insurance plans, and her and another person loudly complained to me in the waiting room (and not in a joking way) about how this insurance didn't compensate them as much. Then uhh just don't take that insurance?? I never made any progress here. I did later make a huge amount of progress with another pt clinic and amazing physical therapists. Maybe if you just sprained your ankle you'll be fine but otherwise avoid this place. There are many other physical therapists out there.
