I went in for a second opinion on my right foot for Chronic malalignment of the metatarsal, Ocel took X-rays and he couldn't find anything wrong. Ocel sent me to multiple appointments with different providers NOW I see it was only to increase revenue with out solving or my concerns. After he refused to admit there's a problem I looked at the x-rays 4 weeks later and I found the malalignment of the metatarsal plane as day that needs to be realigned in my foot, I dropped off the first opinion and results form other providers showing what was wrong. Apparently I hurt his feelings because he had the office manager tell me not to come back to Cornerstone, (Ocel isn't Man or Doctor enough to tell me himself) trust me I won't and I strongly recommend you don't go to Cornerstone Orthopedics', They are an Extremely greedy practice. You will see DON'T RETURN TO OUR OFFICE STATMENTS IN MOST OF THE POSTINGS ON THIS SITE. WOW do you all see how many complaints Cornerstone has. Also, Cornerstone and Bruce Webber replaced my knee, I should have read these reviews before I went there in the first place, I have been in agony ever since 2022 and now I need to find an attorney. Because I can't go back for them to fix their F*** up on my knee. I'm going to file a complaint with the state. All of the people with the complaints should do the same and maybe they will shut cornerstone orthopedics down.

I can't understand the previous poor review - he was quite clear that 80-90% of my problems would be solved with proper stretching of my calves and using inserts, and he gave a handout on the stretches to do 2-3 times per day. I started out with OOB inserts, but then I switched to custom. Standard inserts were fine, for me, but they need to be replaced every 6 months, so custom is more cost effective, long term. I am not the best at stretching, and he suggested physical therapy. They worked on some additional exercises with me, but the stretching is still the most important thing to do. I will say that the combination of stretching and inserts has made a huge improvement in my life. A couple years later, I found that Dr Dirlam had moved on, so I made an appt with Dr Hurley to get a partial matrixectomy (sides of toenails removed due to ingrowns). She did a terrific job and was super fast, and I was probably a bit of a high-maintenance patient. I made the mistake of watching a video of the procedure, in advance. DON'T DO THAT. My stress level was so high, I needed extra shots of local anesthetic. It is now about 2 1/2 months later, and I wish I would have known about this procedure years and years ago. Highly recommend this practice. Their prices are reasonable, and their office staff is friendly and efficient.

After seeing a pain management doctor for more than a year (receiving countless injections and repeated physical therapy) and not getting any relief, my pain management doctor referred me to Dr. Gary Clark for prolotherapy. Dr. Clark gave me a thorough exam and found that I had scoliosis in my spine and that my sacroiliac (SI) joints were out of place. He took a detailed medical history, and at each visit he explained what he was doing and why. He did repeated injections and adjustments on the SI joints -- the latter of which corrected my leg length discrepancy. These treatments relieved a lot of pain. Dr. Clark also referred me to a physical therapist who works with scoliosis and joint displacement using visceral manipulation. (Dr. Clark's office also went out of the way to find me a practitioner who both offered this treatment and accepted my insurance.) I have been receiving care from Dr. Clark for six months, and after today's visit, my SI joints have improved greatly. The scoliosis is gone, and the leg length discrepancy is resolved. I still get breakthrough pain in the thoracic area, which I can reduce with specific exercises and a percussion massager, but if it were not for Dr. Clark, I would still suffer at a pain level of ten day in and day out. He is thorough, thoughtful, caring, and patient, and I highly recommend Dr. Clark to anyone looking for relief of any type of orthopedic issues.

My running career and was at a close, or so i'd been told. Dr Clark gave me a much more comprehensive diagnosis and explained, with patience and thoroughness - my physical disposition towards my injuries and why they had occurred in the first place (something my orthopedist had no explanation for). He then came up with a treatment plan. Following my prolotherapy injections, some adjustments he taught me to do on my own at home, coupled with PT and pilates, my knee pain has DRASTICALLY improved and I have been running 1-2 miles, which might not sound like much but is a miracle after my initial diagnosis. I cannot say enough good things about Dr Clark and how different his care has been in comparison to my initial diagnosis from my ortho. He genuinely cares about his patients and is committed to helping them improve mobility and live a satisfying life.

I am my own wellness advocate, and when I ask questions, I expect professional answers from a surgeon. Insurance companies are reluctant to pay for services -- in this case, I don't blame them. He answered my questions incompletely and with condescension; I doubt he ever looked at my chart. I made an appointment for a follow-up in 6 weeks; I'll be cancelling. The waiting room was a mass of people; like cattle being taken to slaughter. I waited 45 minutes to see someone. Most of the staff was kind and gave great explanations. However, the last guy was a waste of space; my short-term parking placard form was incomplete and incorrect, so I have to return to the DMV to resubmit corrected forms, which I'll be getting from my own physical therapist (take a referral from them? No, thanks.) Trying to reach a human was impossible by phone. Worst. Medical. Service. Ever. Full stop.
