If you decide to wait for an operator, that's another 3.5 minutes, at which point, even if you gave them the name of the person THE FACILITY told you to call, they'll direct your call: a) back to the number you called, to start all over again b) to scheduling c) "another number" for the business office that leaves you hanging for another 10 minutes before forcing you to leave a message And we probably have a simple question. I shudder to think what it's like for patients with a complicated question that requires a complicated answer, trying to get it asked and answered over a series of emails. To the doctors (or private equity people?) running the practice: chronic high call volume isn't an excuse to erect barriers to care, it's a sign that staff is likely overburdened and needs more people.

While the initial recovery was challenging, he assisted the whole way and the surgical results were life changing. I used to sleep 4-5 hours a night and wake up every morning in pain. I needed Naproxen and a hot shower to start the day. One disc was completely gone and the other had only a quarter of the height left. I was requiring nerve ablations every two years to reduce the pain. The Surgery was in March of 2024. it is March 2026 and I just ran the mountains behind my house in Park City.
