I was told that I can pay for one month and cancel the rest of my sessions then they told me that I had to do 2 months then they would cancel my sessions. I feel cheated and lied to but I guess I should have went to the better Business bureau and read up on them knowing that they have an f rating. This was in Westminster off 120th. My worst chiropractic experience ever. I suggest you run not walk away from this place. After 2 sleepless nights from pain, I walked into a very friendly Joints receptionist, but a very lengthy new client paperwork process. it was finally my turn to get adjusted. Before putting me on the table, Dr. Jeff made some very disparaging remarks to the receptionist in front of 5 of us. When she very appropriately, asked him to not speak to her like that, he Marched her to the back of the building, where you could hear a heated discussion. She either got fired or quit and marched out of the building. Dr. Jeff was very agitated when he sat down with me. I suggested he take some deep breaths because I didn't want him Manipulating my old military veteran spine while he was in an agitated state. He was not very present and asked me a couple questions, two or three times. Then he dropped that he couldn't manipulate me without locking me into multiple treatment s paid with Medicare, Despite the fact that the website says a $29 initial cash visit. Quite agitated myself, I started to leave. Unbelievably Dr. Jeff said that he wasn't going to charge me for this interaction. He's lucky that he didn't because I would've slapped him with a lawsuit. I hope that's what the receptionist does. She was treated very unfairly and horribly. In my opinion, Dr. Jeff and the joints should be out of business. If you don't sign up for multiple appointments, they'll refuse to treat you, saying they're "not qualified" to help with a minor adjustment!!! I read a review saying the very same thing, so I called and asked about it before I went all the way down there. I slept wrong, and needed a simple adjustment. I've slept wrong lot's of times throughout the years, went in for an adjustment, and was fine. I explained this to the lady on the phone, and asked about the review I read, and if I would get turned away. She swore up and down that it was a false review, and it would never happen at the joint, I wouldn't get turned away...etc, and to come on in. That was at Sheridan Blvd, and 120th. Well when I got there, once the blond chiropractor figured out that I wasn't going to sign up for monthly treatments, she said that she "wasn't qualified" to do simple adjustments, and refused to treat me!! Then, she referred me to the mountain pain center, a place I was sent to after an auto accident in the past. I called a lady I knew who was affiliated with them, and she said that "The Joint" gets some type of kickback from the pain center everytime the joint sends someone to them!! OMG!!!! The joint is nothing but a dishonest crook!!! I didn't know there were places like that in Denver!!! Don't we have laws against "underhanded" business practices? I used to go to the joint years ago, and get a simple adjustment if I slept wrong, and they didn't used to play that on people!!! They had "real Chiropractors, who actually"CARED" about actually helping people. And who were educated enough to perform a simple adjustment, like every other chiropractor I've been to over the years!! All the other chiropractors in Denver that I looked into also try to make you "sign up" for a program that you don't need also!! Does anyone know of any "Honest" chiropractors in Denver? I found The Joint accidentally in a time when pain was taking me from my day to day activities. In 13 visits I've gone from crying when I walk to hiking and pain free days. I have never felt more heard about my pain than when I'm lying on the table here. I've had days where I come in and say exactly where it hurts and Dr. John Robinson listens to the feedback I give and to his own intuition and gets bits I didn't even feel. And I've had days where I come in and I have no information to give and I get equally as much benefit. I can confidently say that my life has been changed by coming here. Today we started to reopen elective health and wellness. This Joint is not the one I usually go to. It is usually where I go when I can't get into Arvada, it's better than nothing. That was my thought process when I called Arvada and they had no openings. Why not try calling the one off of Sheridan and 120th? When I called the Broomfield/Westminster office it was 1030a, they said that I could make an appointment for anytime, because all they had down was an 11a, I took the 1115a. I arrived 15 minutes early and checked in from my car via the phone at 11a. I was informed on the phone that they were trying to keep people out of the waiting room, so I stood outside waiting for the next person to be done. I was waived in as she was walking out from being treated. The chiropractor tells myself and a man who walked while I was waiting outside that it would be a few minutes for him to clean. The chiropractor resurfaces from the back and invites the other person back. I ask the front desk person, "how much longer this is going to be? I have a sick husband at home, only have a sitter for an hour and I need to go grocery shopping, can I go do this now?" She replied, "that she is so sorry, they got behind and it should only be another 10 minutes." She continued to ramble and I asked her to please stop talking, she kept talking, I told her I'm having to pay a sitter a $100/hr to sit with my sick husband while I am gone, all she is doing is irritating me. Fast Forward to 1130a, I am brought back, the chiropractor thanked me for my patience, I told him I have none, I need to get cracked and get out of here. I don't even think I would have taken the time to write this review if he would have been worth his salt. Long story short, he pulled muscles on me. I am sitting here with ice and had to pop a muscle relaxer. I had restricted mobility with my neck to left before this, now I can't even turn my head. To sum up my disgust: 1. This is a Chiro I will never let touch me again, I've had better adjustments in third year clinics 2. The front desk knew I was waiting took a walk in and lied to me about it or they happen to be running late and didn't even inform me when I called and was waiting in the car. 3. This entire evolution was an extreme waste of time, money and my health. I run a wholistic wellness clinic. I would be personally embarrassed if even just one of these things happened in my practice. I'm now worse off than not even going in. I understand that sometimes things get worse before they get better, but this was not the case, this was muscles snapping. I don't know how he is not able to feel when something is way too tight to snap or the idea of torque on the neck while pushing on a shoulder. Hopefully my regular guy will be able to undo what this joker did. read more

I'm the type of guy who doesn't go to the doctor unless I've got a bone sticking out of my body or blood coming out my ears. My left shoulder & neck started to bother me a few weeks ago. This is partly my fault - however, this is what happened. I took a 15-20 min Uber ride to this Joint because of their good reviews & I really need an adjustment. I'm visiting from out of town. I arrived a few minutes before they closed and although the doc agreed to see me when the receptionist asked - the receptionist looked me up and then said since it's been like 8 months since my last adjustment (I thought it was just a few months ago but maybe my local Joint didn't log it or I am mistaken) - they can't see me because I have to fill out paperwork. During our conversation she literally went from "we will be closing soon" to "we are closed" where she could have let me just do the paperwork that takes like 2 min I've done it before several times. Pretty disappointing. Then they all walk out while I'm now sitting here still waiting for my new Lyft to arrive to bring me to my evening plans. read more

I was looking for help realigning my neck and back. I was ready to set up a multi- month plan to help me. I was told over the phone to come in and meet with the doctor to figure out what would work. I have trouble driving because of the mobility in my neck so I had my wife take time off work to take me. I got there, started to fill out the forms and the doctor came out and said they couldn't help me and that I needed to go to someone who would do X-rays before starting. I was asked to leave so I made an appointment at another chiropractor and now I am feeling much better. The front desk and doctor need to know what treatments they can do and what they are able to offer. Seems like they offer limited services and really don't care if they waste your time. read more

Front desk staff was completely inappropriate! I was in there with my husband and child waiting for an adjustment. Went to the desk to ask a question and the front desk girl with an accent had both her feet up on her chair and gave a rude answer. She continued to talk about sleeping with men and other inappropriate things in front of the whole lobby. I was completely mortified and will not be going back. I also asked some questions about my membership and she started to yell at me as I walked awCorporate should look into this as I'm sure they don't want their brand viewed in this way. ***update***** The events stated above DID happen and your company is trying to cover it up. Good call trying to blame the customer and showing just how terrible your franchise is. It's sad one bad franchise can ruin it for the rest of them. Do not believe what they say when purchasing more than one session . They say you cancel at anytime which is untrue. There is a minimum amount of months required before you can cancel. Also you are forced to come in person to sign a 30 day written notice before canceling. I was not told about this when signing up, I was told cancel whenever no problem. Of Course this was a lie but I should know sales better. Thing that really ticks me off is that I was charged an additional 2 months after I called to cancel because this written notice. This place is consistently disappointing!! After a membership debacle (they lost my cancellation email and still charged me, and didn't give me the unused credits) 2020 - i tried to come back and give them another chance. It was close to closing - so it was a risk. I was still in the system but they had to have a re-evaluation. Okay - so 10 min wasn't enough time? They've never spent more than 5 min with me. The doctor was grouchy about it and the front desk wasn't too cool either. I get it - they want to get out of there! but it just takes a couple extra min to make a customer or lose one, again. I just had the worst experience here. Doctor John made me feel completely unsafe and like I was an idiot for coming in the first place. He seemed scared to attempt to put my rib back into place, which is a common chiropractic adjustment. He basically shamed me for not going to my regular chiropractor (hello... people go to the joint because they're convenient, cheap, and have long hours. It was a holiday weekend.). He said he "didn't want to hurt me." Why would a doctor say that to a patient?? Completely unprofessional. He kept asking me irrelevant questions that seemed an attempt to stall treatment because he was unsure of himself. It was clear he wasn't confident in his job, which is just not okay for a chiropractor. I question his ability to treat people and so should management. He basically told me to leave, which I was happy to do by that point. Never going here again. I called to complain and the receptionist defended this behavior by saying, "Well, this is a wellness center." So, that means your doctors aren't equipped to do the basic chiropractic care I'm needing? If your doctors can't provide simples adjustments, then they shouldn't be practicing. It doesn't matter what kind of practice you call yourself. Infuriating. The worst part was that the doctor literally looked confused and scared. What the hell?! read more

Dr. John is always courteous, professional, and welcoming. I love the Joint because it's close and convenient; even with not being able to walk in due to COVID. How are you adjusting two people and adequately sanitizing between adjustment within a 10 minute period? We also showed up at 2:55 and we're told we could no longer it in. The only benefit of the doubt I can give is that the chiropractor who saw me for the intro appointment was from another location and not one of the regular doctors. There was no consultation, exam or adjustment really. He told me I had been to the joint before and asked why I refused treatment prior, but I had never been to any location prior to today. The front desk had to confirm this after the appointment since he didn't believe me. He used the activator on me rather than doing an exam or adjusting me, saying that once they got used to my body they could do a real adjustment. He was really rude and disrespectful, and told me I needed to exercise without giving advice or reasoning behind the statement. This is the only chiropractor I have been to where I have felt worse physically and emotionally after leaving. read more
