She did not show any empathy and I did not feel heard or respected as the patient. The concept of a bedside manner was completely lost on her. I had a second appointment hoping the first was just a bad day. No, the second appointment was even worse. I found treatment elsewhere.

I developed a really bad case of vertigo late last year, and had it for about 2 months. Some days…read moreit was so severe, I literally felt like I was walking around drunk - everything was spinning, and I felt like I had to hold onto rails when I walked up and down stairs. I figured the condition was largely stress related (I'd never been so stressed out or anxious in my life), or possibly related to sleeping in some kind of bad position. I didn't know much about vertigo, and even though I'd researched it, I wasn't able to figure out a treatment that worked for me. Luckily, it seemed to go away over time - for the most part, though small bouts of vertigo did resurface a few times, but just for a day or two. My sister had the same issue that mysteriously appeared, then disappeared. Well, for whatever reason, I got vertigo again, last week. I don't know if it was triggered by my new aerobic exercise program or doing excessive neck stretching or what, but, all of a sudden the vertigo came back full force, and it was so bad I felt like I had to spend the whole day in bed on Friday. It was not good. I get really depressed when I am not feeling well or if I'm not being productive, so I could feel myself slipping into a really bad funk. Vertigo can make you feel really anxious because you feel really out of control when everything in your head feels like it's starting to spin around for no apparent reason! Well, I started doing more research and am thanking my lucky stars for the fact that I ran across this article, in which a man says he cured his vertigo by doing a simple exercise that was invented by Dr. Foster. You can read it here: https://www.menshealth.com/health/a28679454/benign-paroxysmal-positional-vertigo-treatment/ There was a link for a video she had on YouTube, so I clicked on it and tried it myself. Here's the link, if you want to see how to do the exercise. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQR6b7CAiqk HO - LY - COW. I can't believe this simple, 5 minute exercise actually worked to cure my vertigo, when I'd been STRUGGLING with it for MONTHS, late last year. I do realize that the exercise may not address the underlying cause of the vertigo (I realize I may never know what triggered it), but at least I am back to being a functional human being again. We live in a day and age where it's VERY HARD to find a doctor who is willing to give out information for free. I even commented to a friend of mine, this afternoon, that a TRULY good doctor is one who tries to give you advice that's good enough so you don't even NEED to come in and see them. That is the kind of physician Dr. Foster clearly is. She says in the video that if this doesn't work to fix your vertigo, you can always come in and try other treatment options. Why can't EVERY doctor be like her?? I don't know if Dr. Foster will ever see this but if so, I just want to extend a huge amount of gratitude for sharing this really useful tip. I wish you could get a nobel prize for figuring this out....seriously. For anyone looking for a good neurologist who actually cares about their patients.... give Dr. Foster a call! She obviously cares about helping people to get better, and get on with their lives.

When I came to see him I wasabis to walk about a block before pain and 6 blocks before having to sit and rest due to the pain in my back/leg. I had a previous spine surgery to correct spinal stenosis. My visits were all non pressured and succinct. I could tell he had a lot of knowledge and information during our conversations and he and his staff was willing to answer any questions I had. I did not get the impression that he is social or person, but I didn't care, I wanted the best surgeon. What this meant for me is I was prepared with a list of my questions before I came to appointments and asked them all. He is very quick and knowledgeable and I am not the best in the fly with memory, so I believe I would have missed questions had I not done this. I have seen reviews where he lacks bedside manner...I would not say this. I do not think he will stay and hold your hand while coddling you, but he won't be rude. He is very professional. He presented my three options and gave me the pros and cons of each. He explained short and long term scenarios to me. His staff was top notch...in my opinion some of the best staff I've encountered. This applies to the receptionists, nursing staff, assistant doctors, surgery center personnel, and billing person. I was very pleased with how accommodating they were and low pressure the entire experience was for me. Since surgery I have been perfectly happy and no symptoms have returned. It has been almost 2 years. Thanks Dr. V!

If I could give 0 stars or - negative stars I would!…read more Went to see Dr. V for the first time today. What a complete waste of time! The worst bedside manner. Dismissive. No concern or empathy. My total visit with him lasted 10 minutes at best. After 2 prior cervical fusions, my imaging shows severe stenosis on the right, moderate on the left, a herniated disc above my fusion, and 2mm slippage of my vertebrae at flexion and extension. My symptoms include numbness in my right hand, tingling in the back of my neck and the side of my face, and ice pick headaches in the back of my head. His response was "those symptoms don't correlate with that level. Surgery is a 50/50 chance if you'll do better. You can get another ablation or steroid shots. But degeneration is normal as we age." Maybe we can explore this as a cause: Occipital neuralgia: This is a distinct condition that is often triggered by cervical spine issues, including herniated discs. Occipital neuralgia is caused by the irritation or compression of the occipital nerves that run from the upper spine to the scalp. It is characterized by sharp, stabbing, or electric-shock-like pain that can feel very similar to an ice pick headache. Or how about it can absolutely cause the symptoms I have: A herniated disc at the C3-C4 level of the cervical spine can cause various symptoms, including: Pain: Sharp, shooting pain in the neck that may radiate down the arm into the shoulder, hand, or fingers Pain that worsens with certain movements, such as bending the neck forward or backward Numbness and Tingling: Numbness or tingling in the shoulder, arm, hand, or fingers Pins and needles sensation That was it. Off I went with the name of a chiropractor and different pain management doctor. I'm sorry but there's nothing normal about the symptoms I'm feeling. So if it's not from that level, let's figure out where it's coming from and fix it. He was absolutely horrible. I've been dealing with this for 10 years and I've never experienced a doctor who could not care less about helping. Stay away.

I was also instructed to get a CD of the MRI I had done (showing the reason I was referred to them in the first place). When I walked in, the brunette at the reception desk did not greet in a professional manner - she did not greet me at all. She had a look of disdain on her face actually. So I say, "I'm Rebecca and I have an 11 with Darbi." "No you don't.", she says. "Yes, I do.", I say. "No you don't. We tried calling yesterday, your appointment was yesterday at 1pm.". "NO it wasn't and I got NO calls. I even have a little business care with the appointment date and time on it." Naturally I had left that card in the car (I'm disabled btw). She was incredibly rude to me. I was rude back, saying "UnF'ing'believable" on my way out to get the card. So I struggle to get back to the car and retrieve that darn card and go back in. There is another gal upfront now as well. She is Darbi's assistant. She is the one who wrote out the card and who made the app't. She DOES NOT APOLOGIZE TO ME. She proceeds to tell ME how unprofessional I was and they were not going to be able to see today or ever. OR EVER! As you might imagine, I got a little pissed off. THEY made the mistake, they had my phone number incorrect (so no one called me) and I had to ASK for an apology! she grudgingly gave me one and then repeated that they will not see me as a patient (because of MY behavior). MINE! I have never been treated so poorly in my life by a damn doctor's office. I am NOT a hard person to get along with... but holy hell these people are GOD AWFUL. Don't go there! I will be writing a letter to the Doctor (who was nowhere to be seen btw). UNF'ING'Believable.

Before I went, I couldn't stand or walk for more than 15 minutes without getting super sick and having to lay in bed for hours to days. Now, I am able to get through an entire day of errands. I started driving again. And, I feel like I am getting my life and independence back! I still have a lot of work to do on my journey of health and healing. But I finally have the resources, answers, and team behind me to be able to do so! Not only did they treat me while I was there, but they also set up a 3 month program designed specifically for me. I am also in contact with them constantly. They also focus on treating the entire body. We did numerous test, including genetic test, and found a bunch of answers and reasons why I was struggling with what I was. Revive is the real deal! Most concussion centers only have one or two treatments. I did over 16 different treatments every single day while I was there. This treatment was life changing! I could not recommend Revive enough!

I am going through my treatments under the care of Dr. Henry Z, DC. He's a Chiropractor. Interesting enough I was doing a treatment here and Dr. Z said he was busy and had 6 other patients? Revive is empty. During my IV treatment I asked the individual in regards to other patients and he said there were only 2-3 others here he's cared for so far. On Day 2, I didn't agree with my nutritionist Martha here when I had a conversation with her when we talked about nutrition. I paid $150 consultation. I am a healthy, athletic stunt performer in Motion Pictures and Television and since I know diets - I've gone through all of them - and my body my sleep deprivation is not due to what I am or not eating. I opened up and made changes. I also read the book she shared with me called How to Feed a Brain which is a high fats/low carb (ketogenic) diet. My naturopath shared this diet with me and I've been on/off for years now since I learned about this diet in 2015. While getting a NAD+ IV towards the end of my Day 2 here I was rushed to sign paperwork from Michelle. One pertaining to estimates of how much my treatments will cost for the weeks. This is poor patient/customer service. I felt rushed and was really stressed due to that issue. She could have waited until my IV was completed. We shall see if they are able to help me but as of now... I am not a big fan. Also Dr. Dan Engle isn't apart of Revive any longer. I reached out to him in regards to my sleep. He's never heard of someone like me having this issue. To note: I haven't talked to a real MD in Neurology here. I thought I'd be in a room full of neurologists. Sounds like the Director doesn't come in much. I've read reviews prior to coming here. But I am suspect of the reviews on Yelp and Google.

To say I was satisfied with Dr. Halls treatment would be a complete understatement. My results were…read moreunexpected - outstanding - and completely life-changing. Before my treatment, one small tweak would quickly spiral out of control and at times be severe and debilitating. I've been carried out of vehicles, crawled up stairs, spent countless sleepless nights laying flat on a hard wood floor because even breathing would hurt. A sneeze could make me cry. My entire life was controlled by pain - or stressing out about when the next bad episode would hit. After multiple doctors, numerous scripts for pain killers, 4 MRIS, nerve testing, a pricey meeting with a spine specialist at a very prestigious hospital, and a 15 year timeline -- I learned "nothing is wrong with you" or "it's in your head." And left feeling helpless and slightly crazy. I met Dr. Hall in November of 2017. On our first meeting and overview exam, we reviewed my xrays. I'll never forget the moment when he pointed to the image and said "yep, right here - there's the smoking gun." Wait... really? How could he have figured this out so quickly. He explained that my right hip was 1.5 inches out of line with my left. Then showed me the "timeline" of issues up my spine caused from years of misalignment. We talked about my stiff straight neck - what caused it what's making it worse - and the negative effects I'm experiencing from this. My "carpel tunnel" is most likely not carpel tunnel all. Most of my sinus headaches, he explained, were likely caused from the lack of curvature and neck compression. Everything he said to me in his diagnosis was backed up with simple, clear, facts and evidence. It all made so much sense to me. It was the first time I finished a conversation about my issues pain feeling hopeful, rather than frustrated. For the first time in over 15 years, I'm confident that my joint issues are solved and I feel completely in control of my body. I am again able to choose my level of activity and challenge myself, rather than letting my pain dictate what I am able to do and when. Im able to enjoy skiing three days in a row without fear of an episode that would ruin my day. I confidently enjoy hikes more challenging than i ever would have attempted before. I am proud to call myself a "runner" once again and enjoy frequent runs with my husky, Samson. Prior to meeting doctor hall I had decided my running days were over (despite it being my favorite and most mind-clearing activity). Yoga is once again a part of my life and I'm so grateful for how "right" my body feels. Today, if I ever trip hiking, slip on ice or fall skiing, I don't dread whats to come. Because even if I experience a minor fall or bump -- the after pain (if any at all) is so minimal. AND the best part is -- I'm now fully capable of making pain go away simply and quickly (with a set of exercises he gave me for on going maintenance). Armed with these tools, I get back on my feet and on with life comfortably -- all within the same day. I could never put into words how empowered that makes me feel. Yet, even saying he 'changed my life' is still too simple to fully capture the impact he's made. The new me enjoys an overall improved well being, which in turn, has also positively impacted those closest to me (some who have never known me without my main issues of back pain, carpel tunnel, and intense headaches.) But wait, there's more. Dr Halls impact, quality of care, and compassion stretches even further. I spoke to him about my father who lives in another state, but was someone I assumed could benefit from chiropractic. Dr Hall gave me detailed advice, and even called around my hometown area looking for a chiropractor that would be a good fit for my fathers very precise and sensitive needs. His willingness to help my father (a patient he'd never actually see) is a true reflection of his character, passion and confidence in his field.

He agreed to go along with the job, knowing it wasn't your average water heater swap out. This hasty review has already damaged the reputation of my business and my ability to receive leads.
