Instead of simply discussing the project, he immediately became hostile and started swearing at me, including saying "F*** this" and "F*** you," before abruptly hanging up. I was completely caught off guard. I had simply submitted a project request through Yelp and had not done anything to warrant this kind of treatment. This was an absolutely unacceptable and highly unprofessional way to treat a potential customer. I will also be filing a complaint with Yelp regarding this interaction so they are aware of how a business responding to Yelp project requests is treating potential customers. **UPDATE: I am providing screenshots to document what actually happened.** In his response to my review, Elmar claims that my account of him calling me and using profanity is "completely false" and that "nothing like this ever happened." That is not true. I am uploading two screenshots that document the sequence of events: 1. **At 3:10 PM**, Elmar responded to my Yelp Project request stating, **"I don't provide that service."** 2. **At 3:12 PM**, just two minutes later, my call history shows that I received a call from **408-396-8070**, which is the business phone number listed on this Yelp business profile. I had no problem disconnecting the plumbing and removing the 1/4 round tiles and the sink. Once removed, there was some water damage to repair and the back rim of the counter was damaged. I fixed what I could, but I struggled to figure out how to install the sink properly and retile around the sink. That's when I put in the request in Yelp and that's when we lucked into meeting Leo!! Leo responded and came in the same day we made the Yelp request (Sunday) listened to my story, challenges, and ideas and then shared what he could do, when he could do it and for how much. His offer was very reasonable and he committed to start the work Wednesday morning. Leo arrived early and proceeded to complete the project. He also offered to reconnect the plumbing, made sure everything was clean and working before he left. As you can see in the pictures, he did great work and Leo was extremely responsive to any questions or requests. The next day (Thursday) he came back to make sure everything was working, apply the silicone to seal the sink and faucets, and make a few adjustments per my request. We found a fantastic handyman and will work with Leo anytime we need his help. I've also shared his contact info with my neighbors and mother in law who occasionally need a handy man.
