Amazing experience and I love how my brows turned out! Ariel is so sweet and talented!

I've been going to Ariel (the brow queen!) for about 9 months now. My brows were super thin before and I needed professional help growing them out, shaping them, and getting them to their full potential. I love how they look now. Ariel is so talented and super sweet. The studio is also clean, cute, and has free parking! Here's my before and after pic. read more

I was referred to Ariel for eyebrow tint and eyelash tinting and lift. She does an amazing job. She's so sweet and really enjoys what she does. I don't have to wear any mascara and it lasts for quite a few weeks. I'm addicted now and and go back every few weeks to freshen up my eyelashes and get my eyebrows tinted. Her studio is also very relaxing. There is parking off the alley in the back of her studio. There generally is street parking as well if there is no parking in back. I highly recommend Ariel! You won't be sorry. read more

I've been seeing Ariel for my waxing services for several years now, and even followed her to her current location! She is professional, efficient, thorough, and just a wonderful and delightful human being. Her studio is tasteful, cozy, and well-appointed and has a very pleasant atmosphere. I always look forward to my appointments because we have such great conversations and Ariel is so caring and easy to talk to. She cares about her clients, and it's obvious. She has a loyal client in me, and I'm certain I'm far from the only one. She's the BEST!! read more

For years I would get my eyebrows threaded, due to the fact that as a teenager the "eye brow lady" at the nail salon (i know ‍) burned my skin so bad that I had a huge scab form underneath my eyebrow. Needless to say I was traumatized. A friend on instagram shared Ariels work, her eyebrows and lash lift looked so pretty. So I decided to get over my fear and try out Ariels services. Threading always left them too thin. That was about 3 yrs ago and I havent let anyone touch my eyebrows since. Ariels space is so zen! So Relaxing. if it wasnt for the fact that shes waxing lol I could fall asleep. Parking has personally never been an issue for me, she is located in North Park but they do have a few spots reserved for them. I have reccomended my family and friends to Ariel. She does great work, and is the sweetest, dont let her confirmation email intimidate you hahaa... shes super sweet just values her time and customers. Shes the best :) Services i have gotten done myself: eyebrow wax, lash lift & tint, eyebrow tint, read more

I have SO MUCH respect the owner, Ariel! She's a gem of an esthetician and trainer. She trained me in my Lash Class and I couldn't have been more thankful. She's thorough, knowledgeable, and was patient throughout the entire class. Her was class was reasonably priced and I definitely believe that I'm slowly, but SURELY making that investment back. I highly recommend her for so many reasons outside of what I already mentioned. She opens up her beautiful space, which to me means a lot because I want to be in a clean, workable environment. She gives you tools and advice that make sense to benefit your business that I believe other trainers don't take the time to add to their training. Overall, I recommend Ariel! She's so sweet and it's hard to find other estheticians that are that kind in the industry. She doesn't give you that competitive vibe. Which let me tell you, makes the world of a difference when you're trying to learn. read more

Ariel is the SWEETEST most kind hearted soul I have ever encountered! She also has a great sense of humor & a great taste in music which she plays while she is waxing you. I always feel so relaxed when getting waxed by Ariel, either by talking to her about our day or about our lives in general or when we just don't talk at all & I doze off because of how at peace she makes you feel. If you're looking for compliments on your brows or any other part of your body look no further than Ariel's magical hands. read more

She helped me clear up my skin! I also have KP so she made awesome recommendations on how to keep it under control! About three years ago, I was introduced to Ariel by a friend who was a client of hers. I accompanied my friend to her appointment for a Brazilian wax. After, I decided to schedule one for myself. Ariel was so kind and made me feel incredibly comfortable, like I had known her for years. I am thoroughly impressed with her work. A few years ago, I had my brows ruined by another waxer and Ariel was able to "fix" them and help them return to my preferred shape. I will never let anyone else touch my brows! Ariel is the best around - my husband has even joined in on the wax adventures! Thank you Ariel!! read more

My friend brought me to Ariel 3 years ago when I first moved down to San Diego & I will not let anyone else touch my brows besides her! She always goes above and beyond to make my eyebrows look PERFECT. The location is a cute, cozy hideaway that reflects her sweet, amazing personality. I have referred multiple of my friends to her because she is truly the best. I can't imagine going to anyone else for an eyebrow wax! read more

My appointment for brow shaping was today. The studio is an adorable little place off Adam's avenue. Just follow their directions to find it because it's behind another building and you can access a parking lot for it from an alley way. I love not having to park on the street. The actual place is super cute!! Very welcoming atmosphere too. Ariel, the esthetician is very lovely and professional. She makes small talk during your session which is nice or since I was kind of falling asleep at the end she just let me listen to the music in the background. She has you fill out a skin assessment form. The table where she does her work is comfortable. Overall I'm happy with the work she did on my eyebrows. Such an improvement from barely any shape to how I used to keep them. I definitely recommend her services. After and before shot follow. read more

Ariel is hands down the best esthetician in San Diego. I first met Ariel about 8 years ago and she was the first person I ever let wax my brows, before I always had them threaded, ouch! I wish I had a before and after picture because this incredibly talented woman gave me brows! I have received other services such as Brazilian, bikini, leg, arm and armpit wax's, brown tinting, lash lifts and stains. I always get compliments after I get my monthly brown wax and stain and immediately refer anyone who compliments my killer brows to Ariel. She's gentle, professional and all fantastic! read more

I never leave reviews...but I just had to post something about my last appointment! I've been getting fairly regular waxes for years now, but every time I go back to Ariel I wonder WHY I ever left! She is so sweet and makes you feel very comfortable, especially if you're new. I got several waxes from others, but Ariel is by far the most skilled, thorough, and makes it WAY less painful than any of my other experiences! You'll be so satisfied with your service, and happy to support her small business (in a very cute location!). There is even a small parking lot in the back alley, since parking in this area can be tricky. She's the best. Thanks Ariel! read more

I found Ariel and Skin Theory through a friend before my wedding I wanted to get some waxing done. Her online booking system is super easy to use and although the location is a bit hidden, the space is nice and relaxing. Ariel did great work on my eyebrows, I told her what I like and she made some suggestions but ultimately was more than happy to do what I wanted. It was a great choice to use her before my wedding and I will definitely be back in the future from time to time for upkeep! Thanks Ariel! read more

Ariel is my go-to girl for perfect eyebrows and phenomenal lashes! She makes me look like I'm wearing false eyelashes in the best kind of way, but they're all mine and they last for weeks! I found Ariel in high school (I am now about to graduate college) and she has been doing my brows since! She is the absolute sweetest and keeps my brows so clean. Her studio is adorable and has parking spots in the back which makes it super easy to pop in and out. Upon entering her cozy little space you are able to lay down and relax in her clean workspace. Ariel is the absolute sweetest and really takes her time to make your brows the best they can be. I also love the way she tints and curls my eyelashes she is very careful and always makes sure I am comfortable. I love Skin Theory so much!! Thanks Ariel! read more

I have been a client of Ariel's for a few years now. A coworker recommended and I've never gone anywhere else. She is confident. The space is welcoming and professional and very beautiful. I could not say enough great things about Ariel. She has been lifting and tinting my lashes for at least 2 years and ever since I started going to her I receive non stop compliments on my lashes. I even took the plunge and had her start shaping my brows (I have never let anyone touch them until her) and all I can say is, "I wish I would have let her work on them sooner". Aside from being a master of her craft, Ariel is an amazing human and I genuinely look forward to catching up during each appointment. Look no further for your brow, lash, waxing needs!! read more

Came to Ariel here just this week. She was amazing! I was referred by a friend and very pleasantly surprised. I came in for my first ever Brazilian wax. Not only did Ariel explain the process before she started, but she let me know each step of the way what was going to happen. She made a semi uncomfortable experience very tolerable with her friendly and soothing demeanor. I will definitely be returning, thanks Ariel! read more

I've been going to Ariel for my brows for almost 10 years. I'm very particular about whom I let touch my brows! Not only is she great at what she does, she's adorable. I just went and had a facial with her for the first time (Mother's Day gift to myself)...it was fantastic! I recommend Ariel for any treatment. Ariel is amazing! I've been getting eyebrow and bikini waxes from her for a couple of years now and there is no one better!

Ariel is the best around. I have been going to her for 7 years and I recommend her to everyone I know. I am a picky picky person when it comes to skin and brows and I do my research. She is SO good at what she does. I have seen her transform my friend's brows to an end product that was beyond both of our imaginations. Beyond her being a great esthetician, she is a wonderful person. She embodies what you would want in someone that is going to make you feel pampered and leave you feeling more beautiful! read more
