I was a lash model for one of her students, Rachel who placed a Mega Volume Lash set on me (Rachel is so talented and amazing herself -- She can lash me anytime!) Victoria's lash studio is so cute, just like her. I loved that Victoria took the time to chat with me about my likes with lashes, and really paid attention to what I disliked about my lash experiences I had in the past. I mentioned I didn't like when my lashes are placed crooked and super uneven. I've never had mega volume before because I was afraid it would look too artificial. Victoria advertised on Facebook. I knew nothing about her but saw her ad and her work looked great! I found out 1 week ago that I have breast cancer and when I saw her ad & her lash work, I thought it seemed like something that would be a nice treat for me, to get lash extensions. I haven't had them in years. I know many people who get them and I even refer people to the technicians who work on my friends when my clients ask me where to go for great eyelash extensions. I could easily go to one of these people but I really liked the look of Victoria's work in her advertisement on Facebook that popped up. I also figured, if I go to her and my clients like the look of my lashes, I could be sending her lots of business. When I Messaged Victoria on FB messenger, I was pretty shocked at her prices. Over $300 for a full set of eyelashes extensions seems much more expensive than all of the competition for a full set. And most people charge around $85 for a fill and she charges over $100. All of this is fine, I just didn't know what her prices were and I was doing my homework to ask in text message with her on Facebook. She refers to you with the word, "love " to make you feel like she's a girls girl. Sweet.. I asked her if she does any referral discounts because I always have people asking me where to go for these services since I'm a hairdresser. You can see the screenshots of the text messages. she also uses words like "Gworl" ... which I guess is supposed to translate to girl.. Again, making herself seem like she's a girl's girl and very friendly in text. But then the reality is, as soon as I asked her what her latest time would be to get me in when she said she had openings on Saturday - she blocked me. I was so shocked. I just called her business and spoke with her and she sounded like she was embarrassed and shocked that I called to ask why she blocked me. Her reasoning was because I'm a hairdresser and because I questioned her prices. Isn't that what everyone does when they first correspond with someone they're about to give a bunch of money to, that's going to be working on their eyes? You would ask questions... She seems to have an attitude and didn't even know that I'm someone who just found out I have breast cancer and that this is something I wanted to do for myself as a treat. She was completely rude on the phone when I called. I just can't imagine that this is how she gains business. With the façade of acting like a girls girl and all the sweet terminologies like calling women "love "... only to just block them a few minutes later because they ask about her prices. On the phone she said she didn't think we were a good fit, and she let me know that it's because I'm a hairdresser and in her industry that she decided she didn't want to work with me. I even said to her, "Wow. So you decided you don't want me as your client because I'm in your industry?" Then she said something about it's just not how she does business to have people send referrals the way I was saying I could. My booking an appointment with her was never contingent on a discount for referrals. I simply asked if she was open to that if I was sending clients her way and you can see her response in the screenshots I have attached here before she blocked me for no reason. You can see in the text thread that she seemed great at answering questions and I just think it's odd to block someone and decide they're not worthy of coming to your business and spending money with you. It's a shame because her work looks really great. But half of paying somebody in a business is having a relationship with them and feeling actually legitimately genuinely cared about by them as they're taking your money. I also don't understand the price point for a business in North Park. It's not Rancho Santa Fe and it's not La Jolla. She also said the set I wanted was $145 which was half off for First visit. Then she said it's originally $320. But by my calculations, double the price of $145 is $290, not $320. So that was also confusing. I was willing to pay what she charges and you can see that in the text thread when I asked her about the appointment for Saturday. But she just decided to block me. Horrible way to run a business. Hopefully that changes for her after reading this. It doesn't feel good to write this review and it didn't feel good to have angry words with her on the phone today. But to act so sweet in the original messages and you can see by the text thread how it went - my mind was blown. i'm sad when I read all of these reviews saying how great she is at her job and that I wasn't able to even receive the courtesy of a first visit with her. read more

Started coming here at the beginning of the year after I had given my eyelashes a little break from a previous place where my natural lashes were kind of wrecked. I absolutely loved my Mega Volume Lash Training with Victoria. Her suite is so cute! When I walked in, I was greeted by her and with a bunch of swag items with her brand on it. Let me tell you something about Victoria; she is the absolute QUEEN of lashing! I just moved to San Diego and hadn't done my lashes in forever since I hadn't found someone that I felt I could trust yet, but I am happy to say my search for a new lash artist has come to an end after Victoria was recommended to me by a friend. Every interaction before and during the appointment showed how caring, sweet, and attentive Victoria is with her clients. I tend to get very anxious sitting still for long periods of time. Still, I felt very comfortable (mentally and physically) throughout the whole session (that I didn't even need my AirPods in) and appreciated the constant check-ins and communication as the work was done. The bed is also super cozy and is heat controlled with footrests which made it hard not to take a nap. I have been going to my previous lash tech for atleast 5 years before I found her. I was apprehensive in finding for a new lash tech because I've built some sort of friendship with this lady. But I felt unhappy with my lashes. I had so many fall outs even after a day of getting my fill. The bed is really comfy and you know that's important for the nap time and they also play good music which helps pass the time. I've gotten lashes done before with pretty bad experiences, either they put on too long of a lash even though I specifically said not to or I had to come back because the lashes came off the day or two right after my session.
