I came here when Jessica was $45 a fill. She raised her price to $60 on the 4th week. The reason I did not return is because she didn't fill up my lashes all the way. My first time here she even noticed the gap and tried to tell me to just brush my lashes and it will mend together. Being that I just woke up, I listened to her and didn't really check. When I got home I took a closer look and there was a gap in the middle! I have been to many places for fills and this is by far the crappiest fill I've been to. During my appointment my eyes kept on tearing up and my lashes kept getting wet because the glue was entering my eyes. My eyes were burning. Jessica did notice by the 4th time of me tearing up and did mention it. I HAVE NEVER HAD THIS HAPPEN BEFORE. Another thing I dislike is that she doesn't use gel pads under your eyes, she uses tape. That is probably why glue was getting inside. Although she is very nice, and she does make your lashes really long, the price is not worth the service you get. read more

I have been coming to Fame Lashes since 2013 and the service and products have never disappointed! Jessica provides amazing, personalized attention to each customer which I have experienced first-hand at every single visit. Upon my initial visit, Jessica provided a questionnaire and informational sheet explaining the process and expectations from your visit. Lash extensions are the rave nowadays and gaining popularity; however, you must understand what you're signing up for; lash extensions are not for everyone - they require regular maintenance (ask about the lash extension serum!), regular visits and a true commitment from the customer in order to obtain the look you are trying to achieve. If you are going for the "full" lash look, expect to schedule regular visits and drop some serious money. Don't come in here expecting a discount or special rate similar to those being advertised on-line, on the radio or at the local nail shop...I don't think anyone would want to pay a "cheap" rate for such a specialized service. Extensions are a luxury expense --- key word: LUXURY. Extensions are great for special occasions, too, if you're just trying to get dolled up for a special evening or occasion but be sure to contact the shop way in advance as they are booked weeks (sometimes months!) in advance. This is not your regular combination nail shop/lash service type of experience -- totally 'nother subject but I wouldn't recommend getting lashes at those places anyways. Lash extensions should be done by a TRUE professional specifically trained and licensed in the field. I, personally, researched this type of service for weeks prior to committing to anyone shop or person specifically and would recommend each person do the same since you're doing something to your eyes - they're a hot commodity! (lol!) The shop is immaculately clean, presentable and it always smells good - not like products or chemicals. The location is also quite convenient and parking is easy - although you shouldn't park in the SDCCU spaces or you will get towed! :) The shop is right off the 15 freeway and is close to many restaurants and shops so you can grab a bite to eat before/after and get errands done all in one afternoon! I should mention, Fame Lashes sells amazing skincare products. I have since been introduced to a great face scrub and moisturizer which I live by - be sure to ask about them. They will change your life! NO JOKE! Jessica is well-versed in the products she sells and is very educated in skin maintenance. I had a broken out right before a special event one time and she helped me with the pimple and it looked like it wasn't even there by the time I went to the gala I was attending. Don't be fooled by the name - they do more than just lashes! Fame Lashes is a great establishment/small business. Don't come here expecting a commercialized type of visit. They DO NOT book appointments on-line nor do they treat you like a "number". If you like special treatments and being pampered, this is the place for you! Things to remember: 1.
