Ordered an extra cheese pizza, mozzarella moons, and a panzarotti. The panzarotti was okay. The pizza was under cooked and the mozzarella moons were mozzarella sticks. I was expecting the old recipe of hand made mozzarella moons. read more

Ordered through Slice App. Callee to confirm - 2 pies took well.over an hour. Called to check status after an hour - rude staff "its out for delivery" click. Arrived late, luke warm, and was lackluster. Edge crust was inedible. Pizza was thin yet soggy (probably from being a box for an hour). Onions werent cooked in, but rather thrown on. Skip this place, was really disappointing. read more

We ordered takeout. The pizza and burrito were very good. The molcajete and quesadilla were large portions and amazing. Definitely recommend for either Italian or Mexican dishes. read more

Was on vacation at Brigantine Beach and didn't feel like cooking dinner one night but didn't want to go to a restaurant so figured we'd order pizza. We looked around at a few places on the island, none of which had great reviews but settled on this once since we could through the Slice app and got free delivery. Pizza arrived in about 50 minutes. We got a pizza, a cheesesteak, and an order of penne vodka. All was fair and better than expected based on other reviewers. It worked perfect for us that night. read more

Had another delicious take away from Goochie last night and we had a mix of pizza, Mexican and entrees. The Mexican is delicious, entrees solid and my favorite pizza on the island. The crust is thin, sauce slightly sweet with the perfect balance of sauce to cheese. Nice people as well! read more

They (meaning all employees) play this game with phone. They think its funny to constantly put you on hold (never come back), send you to fax (screeching noise), hang up on you, busy signal, never respond, and then tell you your crazy. Its a fun game to them. Happens consistently and I wont purchase from them for it. Its obvious what they're doing. Im a full time residence on Brig. The employees are a joke plus unethical. Trust me, they think its funny and the customer is the joke ! read more

VERY DISSATISFIED TONIGHT. Went to pick up the order( Pepp Pizza, spinach Calzone, hamburger and French fries). They totally forgot to make the calzone. Waited 15minutes for them to make that. Once it was done take it home, only to find out there was NO Ricotta cheese in the Calzone. What the hell??? Next the Pepperoni Pizza was so under cooked it was doughy, Hamburger was decent for a Pizza place. Tried to call them 5 times once I saw our food and they didn't pick up the phone. read more

Got chicken Parmesan sandwich and eggplant Parmesan sandwich here for takeout. They were great!

Was just there 10 minutes ago. Ordered over $50 of food and one wrap was made wrong. I called to tell them & was told to come back. When i got there i was told they needed the wrap after i had already gotten rid of it because nobody was going to eat it. They think i was trying to be dishonest and scam them and insisted i go dig through the trash instead of making a new wrap. Never go here they will do the same to you. THE NERVE of these guys to serve a frozen meatball sub and charge $8.50. This "Italian" store serves a mere 2 small frozen meatballs cut in HALF per half of their meatball sub served over prego tomato sauce. They ought to be ashamed of themselves to call their restaurant Italian. There's not a single nonna in all of New Jersey that would dare to serve this their sons. This was puniest underwhelming meatball sub I've ever had in my entire life. At the VERY least they could've thrown in four full frozen meatballs per half considering how cheap they are at Acme (where they probably bought them from). You may as well go to Wawa where there's fresher food. This is a sham read more

No time concept. I get it's a holiday weekend. You tell me an hour wait for my small pizza.. I say that is fine. I go there in 40 minutes. It is sitting on top of the oven. I said you told me an hour, so how long has it been sitting on top of the oven.. they say... just came out. It did not just come out. I know when and what pizza looks like just coming out of the oven.. there was no other food orders t9ns of orders sitting on top of the oven as a busy crazy night would be. I went there a few weeks ago. They said same thing for a pizza. I said no thanks I'll go to wawa. Maybe they don't have the help. Idk. read more

I was charged $22.50 for a specialty pizza. I was happy to pay it. When I got the pizza home, I realized that they had made the wrong pizza. And the pizza they gave me is not one that I would ever choose to eat. I called the restaurant to tell them of the error. The person who answered the phone put me on hold for several minutes. When she returned, she said that she had spoken to her manager. She agreed that they had misread the order and made the wrong pizza. She said the manager offered to give me a $6 credit on my next pizza. I reminded her that I paid $22 for my incorrect pizza and asked her to tell her manager "thanks but no thanks." There are so many things they mishandled. They acknowledged their error and never apologized. They didn't offer me a refund or even to make the actual pizza that i ordered and paid for. Please join me in not supporting this restaurant. There are so many other good and professional options available. We should not be subject to such horrible service or responses. Let's support the restaurants that appreciate our needs and our business. This one will never see me again. read more

Horrible service and horrible food. Horrible attitudes too. Do not recommend coming here if you visit Brigantine.

Pizza was more like a flatbread, needed more sauce, cheese, and toppings. Pizza was about 1/3 crust. Overall flavors were good.

NEVER GO TO THIS RESTAURANT! Although the staff are well mannered and seem like they know what they are doing, do not let their looks decieve you! These people only care about earning money rather than attempting to appease their patrons. After the bill came in, we noticed a hefty fee of 8 dollars listed as a "Server Tip 15%", and they did not even tell us before hand! I thought tips were supposed to be optional, and that you're in control. But no, this place robs you in broad daylight for a 15% tip. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET ROBBED OUT OF 15% OF YOUR BILL!! The food was very bland too and the fries / onion rings barely had seasoning, possibly to cut costs and scam you out of even MORE money. YOU DONT GET YOUR MONEYS WORTH HERE, GO TO ANOTHER RESTAURANT. read more

Very disappointing. It was a pickup order so I wasn't able to have them correct it, but I Got Angel hair pasta with vodka sauce and asked for meatballs. No meatballs and basically it was a soup of sauce with a bit of pasta. The ratio of sauce to pasta was very bad. My boyfriend got linquine and clams and it was mediocre at best. I know it's seafood but the smell was really bad and he barely finished it. Also got the caprese salad and it had very little balsamic . Overall just really mediocre . read more

Pass. The chicken cutlet on my sandwich was so burned it was completely blackened. Tasted completely burned and bitter. There were kalamata olives on my husband's taco salad. My sister-in-law's and sister's food was okay-ish. Our food took over an hour. And this was takeout, not delivery. Hadn't had Goochie Bros in a while and now I unfortunately remember why. We ordered two sandwiches and they were burnt overwhelmingly seasoned with garlic. Garlic to the point my wife & I just put them down. Kids had pizza & meh. It was okay. Kinda bowling alley-ish if you ask me. Fries came in a styrofoam container which sadly made them very soggy. Those too seemed to have an overwhelming amount of seasoning on them. For $45 I'd take your appetite & money elsewhere. read more

Meh. Amateurs or they don't care. Can't tell. On a Saturday night we ordered a pizza, zucchini sticks, and lasagna with meatballs. The lasagna came with a side salad. Let's go through this.... The side salad was about two ounces and contained a small tomato wedge and a slice of cucumber. I asked for blue cheese dressing. Number one .... you don't send the salad home with the steaming lasagna. The salad was hot. The envelope of blue cheese was hot. Ever have that? Dumb. Inexperienced or don't care counter person or packager. Number two ..... The lasagna was a GLOP. Not a multi-layer previously set square. It was just glop. Number three ...... The pizza..... hard crust. Floppy, soggy amateur attempt. The dough was not very well developed. Hadn't risen over night. Not enough yeast. The meatballs that came with the meal were actually good but not made by this restaurant. They were bought in big frozen plastic bags. How do I know? They were perfectly formed as if made by machine. Would I return? NOPE. I had better pizza on the boardwalk. This pizzeria requires training or a For Sale sign. read more

Terrible. I am typically not this tough of a critic but my experience here was one of the worst that I can remember. The quality of the food is very poor, and the service is surprisingly worse. Good luck if you choose to dine here. read more

I received my order, and when returning back to our house, when opening the box of chicken wings, I found celery that was actually rotting, and looks like it was weeks old. The blue cheese, or ranch... Whatever it was also looked to be extremely old. I did not feel safe using either one of those. The broccoli Rob sautéed was not sautéed, but looked like it was poured out of a can and heated in a microwave. The wings were OK, but overdone, and again looked hastily prepared. I would honestly give a zero if I could. read more

We were at the beach for a family getaway, sort of off season, and we ordered in from here our first night. The portions were good and the salad was amazing. It was the salad with blue cheese chicken and bacon. Pizza was really good and chicken Parm too. Although, I would not call it Chicago-style. They delivered it quickly and we enjoyed leftovers for days. Great spot! read more

I've had some really great meals at local pizza shops so I probably went into Goochie Brothers a little overly ambitious. My party of four arrived a little after 7:00 on a Saturday night during the off-season and had no problem securing a table of our choice right away. Our server was prompt to open our wine (BYOB, score!) and bring us the local bread. First up with the local bread was their bruschetta, and it rocked. The tomatoes and onions were nicely soaked in oil and sitting on toasted bread. We also asked for some plain rolls which were light and crispy. Each of our entrees campaign with a salad. The salad was just a bed of lettuce with onion, tomatoes and possibly cucumber. It was pretty standard and boring. The balsamic vinaigrette was awesome. It was rich without being creamy and I probably could have sipped it straight from the dish. I wonder if it was homemade but even if it's not, it was excellent. It's a shame it went with a basic, boring salad. My overzealousness kicked in with my entrée. The veal all vodka sauce just sounded really good. The vodka sauce was great- rich and creamy, with nice little chunks of tomato. The veal wasn't tender and a little tough to cut. I've had good experiences with veal in pizza shops, but moving forward I'll probably avoid it here. I sampled my mom's eggplant parm and my husband's potato gnocchi with sausage. Both were pretty tasty and I wished I went a more classic route. The dining room wasn't fancy but it made for an okay spot for a low-key meal out. My entire group liked it as a whole, so I foresee us coming back in the future. I'll probably just treat it more like a pizza place and not a hidden gem for veal dishes. read more

Probably the best Italian food on Brigantine. You can't come to the island and not get Goochie's

Unfortunately, this was probably the worst Italian meal we've ever had. We order gnocchi and it wasn't cooked...at all. We ordered clams with angel hair and white sauce. They gave us spaghetti. (No, it's not the same thing) and the sauce was so watery that I forgot and thought I had ordered soup. When we thought it couldn't get any worse, the penne vodka tasted like sour milk. Luckily, the chicken caesar salad was ok. OH I almost forgot, of all the pasta meals we ordered, we received one slice of bread. I wouldn't normally leave a review, but the girl taking my order was so incredible rude. I wouldn't recommend. read more
