When I followed up to schedule the work a week later, he told me that they couldn't even look at the schedule for a few weeks because they were busy with storm damage. Outstanding Knowledgeable Tree Service…read more Pichinte Tree Service. Jose Pichinte Certified Arborist 847-971-7736 apichinte@yahoo.com I rarely write reviews but make exceptions when I experience great quality, professionalism, learn something new, they crew was on time and had great attention to detail, AND was reasonably priced as a bonus. We had two tall and large dying pine trees removed, stumps ground not just ground down but below the stump. The owner that gave me the quote is a Certified Arborist and he was here with his team to do the work with his own equipment vs rental. When I got the quote he took the time to notice tree health issues all the others missed which we already knew about and made great suggestions and offered several options beyond what we asked for that only someone with that experience would know and we had him do the incremental work at a very reasonable price. When they left, you would never know they were here other than the missing trees. The clincher was my wife who hired them was very particular and left after they were mid way to run some errands. Jose asked if she could return before he left to approve the work. I wasn't necessary but a nice touch. I had my wife return to see the finished work even though she was satisfied before.

Liz in the office was extremely responsive and flexible as we worked through several versions of the proposal, allowing me to tailor the scope exactly how I wanted. Communication throughout the entire process was quick and easy by phone, text, and email. The crew did a fantastic job pruning, shaping, removing trees and shrubs, and handling several stumps. The stump removal especially stood out; where grinding wasn't possible, they dug them out and restored the areas so well that you could barely tell the ground had been disturbed. Cleanup was equally impressive; despite the amount of work completed, they left the property spotless. Their pricing was very competitive, they were transparent with scheduling, and once a date was set, they stuck to it even though it happened to be one of the hottest days of the year. Overall, Rivas Tree Service was professional, knowledgeable, meticulous, and easy to work with. I would absolutely use them again and highly recommend them for any tree or shrub work.
