After driving home from WI, through this recent storm, I discovered my neighborhood had suffered a tremendous amount of wind damage. Not only had we lost power but I lost a major branch of a large tree. Having used Mr. Tree before, I knew I could trust him to come out and deal with the mess. I called immediately knowing he would be in high demand. The limb had splintered off leaving the upper part leaning precariously toward the roof. Juan came out the next morning and took care of the tree limb. I also asked him to take down my crab apple tree, which he did. Juan not only took the old tree down but ground the stump for no charge. When I went to pay him, I saw that he had trimmed the river birch because some branches were hanging too low. That demonstrates what pride he takes in his work, going above and beyond. Excellent service from beginning to end. Juan showed up for an estimate the next day after contact and sent a written estimate that day. After I received approval from the Village of Libertyville and with go ahead he was there with his crew the same week. His crew of 4 cut down a huge tree in a little over an hour and as agreed, he came back 3 days later to grind out the stump. Clean up was perfect both times. When I told him a landscaper was going to plant a large arborvitae in the same place he said that he would grind down the stump extra far in preparation for that. Juan was on time for all interactions from the initial quote visit to the scheduling to the arrival of the high-end equipment and the job itself. He was very professional, took the time to set up correctly and safely, which is very important for trimming very large trees. He took longer than expected due to it being a windy day but never rushed, which is a good sign. He and his team left my garden clean and tidy, again a great sign. I took contact with Juan to get a quote for 3 big trees removal. The next day Juan was in the back yards for the estimate. He provided an itemized estimate, and his price was very reasonable. A week later, Juan and his crew arrived exactly on schedule. not easy job, 2 of the trees were touching the roof. But they did a great job, no damage at all, even not a scratch on my cedar deck. Juan quoted me for cutting down a tree 4 months ago. We finally decided to go for it and when I reached out he was here within 3 days. Prompt, efficient and very cost effective. He finished the job wonderfully, the stump was ground all the way down, cleaned up all debris around our yard (including the roof) and took away the entire tree to dispose of it.
