I have to say, the set of stairs was a pain I'm sure, the texture on the boards was really stuck. Miguel scraped and sanded until it was smooth enough to repaint. The whole outbuilding looks fantastic, we will definitely be having him come back to do the rest of the property soon.

The situation had gotten so bad that no amount of bird repellent was going to solve the problem. We needed some patch work and fresh coat of paint ASAP. I started inquiring about exterior painters on Yelp, receive 5 bids and Painting Solution Contractors gave me the best price. Antonio and Yulissa were a pleasure to work with. Prompt, friendly and super hard working. Antonio, his brother Alberto and their staff were always on time. They were very meticulous about the prep work. Tom's quote was beyond fair. His crew came in and got it done at very high quality - all within less than a week. What I most appreciated was that he consulted with me to advise where I should have more trim painted compared to its current state. It looks like a different house and more contemporary. The other thing about Tom is that he cares a great deal and shared tips I can use for painting jobs I take on by myself. It's important to note that the other two quotes I received were in the same ballpark, but their focus was on how quickly they get it done with the least possible effort. I would have ended up with a lesser quality paint job.

When I called afterward, I was told there had been a "family emergency" and that they had sent me an email before the appointment to let me know. I never received any email, and I checked my spam folder as well. Whether there truly was a family emergency, I can't say. However, I do know that I was left waiting with no notice that the appointment had been canceled. If an email was never received, I would have expected a phone call or text instead. I've been hiring contractors for several exterior home projects this year, and unfortunately missed appointments have become a recurring problem. It's frustrating when companies don't seem to consider the homeowner's time. Based on my experience, I can't recommend a company that misses a scheduled appointment and fails to ensure the customer is notified in advance, especially one that markets itself as a high-end painting company.

Bottom line: Darryl, Tom and the whole crew at Healthy Painting do things right!…read more In summer of 2022 the team at Healthy Painting tackled our long overdue home exterior painting job. Built in 1942, our house had been painted many times, but not for quite a while. It was bubbling, peeling, cracking and just looked terrible. And as with most homes built during that era, the old paint contained lead. It turns out these complicating factors were no problem for the Healthy Painting team. While Healthy Painting's estimate was not the cheapest we received, we could not be happier with the work they did and the experience we had working with them. It was quite obvious during the process that Darryl (owner) and Tom (project manager) are passionate about doing a great job and doing it to the customer's satisfaction. And of course, safely addressing the lead paint. They set appropriate expectations given the age and condition of our original cedar plank siding, and the finished work exceeded our expectations. They did a great job on clean up and follow up as well. Sara the office manager is also helpful and responsive. If you're looking for a pro team that can tackle any challenge and cares about their work, we recommend Healthy Painting.
